Abstract

Kata Kunci : Perbedaan Hasil Praktik, Respon Siswa Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the application of occupational health and safety procedures on learning outcomes practices manual transmission and to evaluate the response of the students after being given treatment. The method used was Quasi Experiment, Research, there are two classes of grade control and experimental group, the sample was not chosen at random, and do the pretest and posttest and given a questionnaire to determine the next student response data were processed using Version SPSSS 20. Based on the analysis and discussion of variables there is no influence due to the increased value of the practice results for the experimental group is 0.13 with low criteria. By comparison significant level of 5% with a value of 2.00 so the result is not significant so there is no effect of the application safety procedures, while the response of students in the implementation student responses good criterion   Keyword :  Different Practice results, Responses student

Abstract

The development of technology in education helped to increase learning quality. Existing developments required the world of education to adapt. Students' characterization in the XXI century was a generation that was closed to digitalization, so the teacher had to understand that learning media at school must carry out advanced technology. Specifically, the research purpose was: to develop media with adobe flash, to dig up the feasibility of learning media in the competency of an anti-lock brake system, and to know the improvement of learning outcomes in an anti-lock brake system. This research applied the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data analysis consisted of determining the feasibility of learning media and deciding the media effectiveness. The feasibility test showed that the media was very feasible. The developed media was tested by N-Gain and got the effectivity until 76%, or it can be declared effective since t-count 18.13t-table, and Ha was accepted while H0 was refused. It can be concluded that adobe flash media with android-based can improve students' learning outcomes, especially in the Anti-Lock Brake Sistem at XII TKRO 1.

Abstract

The vannamei shrimp is a type of shrimp that has a natural habitat in the Pacific Coast, and Mexico. This shrimp entered Indonesia in 1996 when tiger shrimp experienced a decline in production due to disease attacks caused by the White Spot virus. Demand for this shrimp immediately increased rapidly, requiring innovation to keep shrimp yields in line with market demand. The problem in vanamei shrimp farming is water quality, especially water temperature conditions where shrimp live. This shrimp prefer water conditions that have temperatures around 27-29°C. A water quality control system developed to maintain water conditions in accordance with the best conditions for P. vannamei shrimp to increase yields due to reduced mortality rates. Based on this problem, an IoT based water quality control system for the shrimp is developed. Meanwhile, this work is aimed at developing the application supporting this system.

Abstract

Today, academic institution involves digital data to support the educational process. It has advantages, especially related to ease of access and process. However, security problems appear related to digital data. There were several information security incidents in the academic environment. In order to mitigate the problem, metrics identification is required to determine the risk of incidents. There are many risks model and metrics to estimate the risk, such as DREAD, OWASP, CVSS, etc. However, specific metrics are required to obtain appropriate risk values. Therefore, this study aims to define metrics for an academic institution. The proposed metrics are obtained from The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulation. It consists of directory information, educational information, personally identifiable information, and risk of information leakage. In order to achieve the objective, this study involves survey and reliability analysis to result in output. The survey is conducted by involving 90 respondents with various levels of education and jobs. The Cronbach's alpha and Test-retest are methods to determine this study's reliability. According to reliability analysis, the Cronbach's alpha method results in coefficients for the metrics between 0.730 - 0.911, while the Test-retest method results in coefficients between 0.630 - 0.797. These coefficients have a reliable category, so the proposed metrics are adequate for determining risk of information security incidents in academic environments. The reliable metrics will be developed as variables of the risk assessment model for the academic environment in the future study.Â
