Abstract

Information technology has experienced rapid development, strengthened by the presence of the internet, encouraging the creation of e-government to improve public services and government efficiency. One implementation of information technology in this field is a road damage complaint information system. This study aims to design an information system that can be used by the public to report road damage in Palembang City quickly and efficiently, while facilitating the Public Housing and Settlement Area Service (Perkimtan) in following up on the report. This study uses the prototyping method, which allows users to be involved in the system development process through an initial model that is continuously updated. This system is web and mobile-based, which allows online reporting of road damage, complete with photo upload features and damage locations. The results of the study show that this system is able to increase the efficiency of report handling, accelerate the distribution of reports to related officers, and provide better transparency to the public regarding the status of their reports. With this system, the process of handling road damage becomes more coordinated, thereby increasing public satisfaction with public services provided by the Palembang City Perkimtan Service.

Abstract

Dalam mengatasi tantangan dalam hal pengelolaan koleksi, pencatatan transaksi, dan pelayanan pengguna buku, perpustakaan SMA Negeri Sumatera Selatan telah mengadopsi sistem informasi perpustakaan digital, yaitu Senayan Library Management System (SLIMS) sejak tahun 2014. SLIMS adalah sebuah sistem informasi perpustakaan yang mampu membantu para pustakawan memanajemen dan mengelola kegiatan perpustakaan secara otomatisasi, efektif, dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesuksesan penerapan SLIMS di perpustakaan SMA Negeri Sumatera Selatan dengan menggunakan model DeLone & McLean. Metodologi penelitian ini menerapkan penggunaan model DeLone & McLean dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan sampel data menggunakan rumus Slovin melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran kuisioner kepada pengguna perpustakaan SMA Negeri Sumatera Selatan. Model ini menyediakan kerangka evaluasi dengan enam dimensi utama, yaitu kualitas informasi, kualitas sistem, kualitas layanan, penggunaan, kepuasan pengguna, dan manfaat bersih. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari sembilan hipotesis yang diajukan ditemukan enam hipotesis yang diterima dan berpengaruh signifikan dan terdapat tiga lainnya ditolak karena tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan.

Abstract

Digital transformation in higher education requires scalable, responsive, and maintainable information systems. The independent admission system at State Islamic University of Raden Fatah Palembang, which has been running for more than 10 years, faces several issues such as low performance, non-responsive interface, and complex code structure. This study aims to develop a modern admission system using a decoupled architecture with Next.js as the frontend and Laravel as the backend. The method applied is Service Learning, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The results indicate improvements in system performance, stability under concurrent access, and efficiency in data management. Furthermore, user experience is enhanced through features such as multi-step forms, auto-save, and interactive dashboards. Therefore, this system supports the university's digital transformation towards a smart campus.
