Abstract

The task of education in general is to deliver, to create quality individuals or learners, to be noble in character, and to be dedicated to the nation and people. In the world of formal education, it is known as conservation education, namely education programs that instill and preserve socio-cultural values (justice) which are considered as guidelines for humans as individuals who live in a social group. Conservation education in its latest development is no longer only done in the classroom orally and in writing, but the visual learning model outside the classroom has also been practiced. Mural in the context of conservation education in schools has an active role as a medium of learning with visual methods to improve students' understanding and knowledge of socio-cultural values.

Abstract

Abstract The tradition of pecah kuali is a unique tradition, it means that this tradition only exists in Dusun Watugandu, Kec. Sumowono, Kab. Semarang. This pecah kuali tradition is still carried out today, but the traditional actors or the supporting community do not understand the symbolic form and meaning in the tradition of pecah kuali. The problems studied are: (1) what is the form of the tradition of pecah kuali in Dusun Watugandu, Kab. Semarang, (2) what is the symbolic meaning in the tradition of pecah kuali in Duwun Watugandu, Kab. Semarang. This research aims to describe form and meaning of the symbols in this tradition of pecah kuali. The theory used as the basis is the theory of symbols. So, the approach used is phenomenology approach. method through observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis using content analysis techniques. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using content analysis techniques. This study shows that the forms of the pecah kuali tradition is eclipse prayer, hiding, pecah kuali ritual, and pamongan, so the tradition of pecah kuali is partly verbal folklore. The symbolic meaning contained in the tradition of pecah kuali is found in the ubarampe used, namely the symbol of ease of delivery, refusal of balak, protection of the fetus, existence, closeness, democracy, and blessing. So the meaning of the symbols in this tradition of pecah kuali is a form of human relationship with God, with nature, and with each other. plea for salvation, forgiveness, and thanksgiving to Allah SWT for all blessings. The meaning of the symbols in this tradition of pecah kuali as a medium or intermediary in his religion, as well as to show the existence of his culture. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of e-learning on the learning outcomes of fourth grade Javanese script students at SD Negeri Sugihan Jatirogo Tuban. This study used an experimental method with the research design was the control group pretest-posttest design, namely experimental research conducted on two groups of classes. In implementing this study, students were given a pretest. Then, after being given a different treatment between the controller class and the experimental class, a posttest was carried out. The test given was in the form of multiple choice test. In addition to the test, there were also supporting data in the form of interview questionnaires for the parents of fourth grade students. The results obtained that the posttest average score of the experimental class students was (80,96), that showed it was increased significantly compared to before receiving treatment (51,68). This study concluded the effect of learning on the learning outcomes of fourth grade Javanese script students at SD Negeri 1 Sugihan Jatirogo Tuban. The learning obstacle of e-learning based at SD N 1 Sugihan, Jatirogo, Tuban was inadequate internet network facilities.

Abstract

Tradisi Rebo Wekasan merupakan salah satu yang dipercaya masyarakat dan dijadikan Tradisi yang di dalamnya terdapat penggambaran bentuk akulturasi budaya Jawa. Dengan itu, penelitian ini terfokus pada dua hal yang menjadi rumusan masalah yaitu: 1) Bagaimana prosesi akulturasi budaya Jawa yang terjadi pada Tradisi Rebo Wekasan di Masjid Wali Al-Makmur?, 2) Bagaimana bentuk akulturasi budaya Jawa pada Tradisi Rebo Wekasan di Masjid Wali Al-Makmur?. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) Mendeskripsikan prosesi akulturasi budaya Jawa yang terjadi pada Tradisi Rebo Wekasan di Masjid Wali Al-Makmur, 2) Mendeskripsikan bentuk akulturasi budaya Jawa pada Tradisi Rebo Wekasan di Masjid Wali Al-Makmur. Teknik Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah Observasi, Wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan folklor. Folklor dimasyarakat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan sifat jujur, cinta kasih dan tanggung jawab dalam sikap dan perilaku yang dicerminkan dari Sunan Kudus pada saat menyebarkan agama islam yang menjadikan adanya Tradisi Rebo Wekasan. Dengan adanya Tradisi Rebo Wekasan yang didalamnya diadakannya pengambilan air salamun, masyarakat percaya jika tidak dilakukan pengambilan air salamun, maka akan terjadi mala petaka dan bala penyakit yang berdatangan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi melalui kajian folklor dan memberikan hubungan erat antara kepercayaan budaya lokal dan bentuk ajaran baru yang ada di masyarakat Jawa.

Abstract

The issue of social inequality in Indonesia remains a critical topic, particularly concerning access to education, the economy, and social justice, which are often marginalized in rural communities. This phenomenon is also reflected in literary works, including the novel Pincuk Garing by Tulus Setiyadi. This study aims to explore the manifestations of social inequality as depicted in the novel. The central research question concerns how forms of social inequality are represented through the characters and their relationships within the narrative. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive method with an objective literary approach, employing Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of capital (economic, cultural, social, and symbolic) to identify various forms of capital, alongside Robert Stanton’s theory of story facts to analyze how these capitals are embedded in character construction and depiction. The findings reveal a disproportionate distribution of capital: economic (12 instances, 31%), cultural (6 instances, 15.3%), social (8 instances, 20.5%), and symbolic (13 instances, 33.3%). This imbalance directly influences disparities in power, recognition, and opportunity, wherein characters with greater capital are portrayed as dominant, while those with limited capital are frequently marginalized. These findings underscore the significant role of literature as a mirror of social realities and contribute to addressing gaps in existing scholarship by applying Bourdieu’s capital theory to Pincuk Garing, thereby offering a comprehensive analysis of multidimensional social inequality.

Abstract

Kethoprak gaul program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Jaw FBS Unnes senantiasa melakukan konvensi dan inovasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan ciri khusus kethoprak gaul program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Jawa FBS Unnes, 2) mendeskripsikan bentuk kreativitas kethoprak gaul program studi pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Jawa FBS Unnes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data primer penelitian ini adalah 4 naskah kethoprak sedangkan sumber data sekunder penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi video pagelaran kethoprak gaul yang dapat diakses melalui youtube dan artikel ilmiah terkait kethoprak gaul yang dipublikasikan pada jurnal ilmiah terakreditasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah simak dan catat.  Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis kualitatif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles dan dengan tiga tahap utama 1) reduksi data, 2) display data, dan 3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kethoprak Gaul yang dikembangkan oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa FBS Unnes menampilkan ciri khas yang menonjol melalui perpaduan unsur tradisional dan modern secara harmonis. Ciri khas kethoprak gaul unnes dapat dilihat dari campuran bahasa Jawa tradisional dan bahasa gaul/modern, humor dan improvisasi dalam dagelan, reinterpretasi cerita sejarah klasik secara leluasa, sedangkan kreativitas dapat dilihat dari 1) adaptasi tema agar relevan dengan isu kontemporer, 2) eksplorasi emosi karakter secara mendalam, 3) teknik pementasan modern, 4) visualisasi dan improvisasi panggung.The gaul kethoprak of the Javanese language and literature education study program, FBS Unnes, always carries out conventions and innovations. This study aims to 1) describe the special characteristics of gaul kethoprak of the Javanese language and literature education study program, FBS Unnes, 2) describe the form of creativity of gaul kethoprak of the Javanese language and literature education study program, FBS Unnes. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The primary data source of this study is 4 kethoprak manuscripts while the secondary data source of this study is video documentation of gaul kethoprak performances that can be accessed via YouTube and scientific articles related to gaul kethoprak published in accredited scientific journals. The data collection technique used in this study is to observe and take notes. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative analysis technique developed by Miles and with three main stages: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, and 3) drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Gaul kethoprak developed by the Javanese Language and Literature Education Study Program, FBS Unnes displays prominent characteristics through a harmonious blend of traditional and modern elements. The distinctive characteristics of Unnes' gaul kethoprak can be seen from the mixture of traditional Javanese and slang/modern language, humor and improvisation in jokes, free reinterpretation of classical historical stories, while creativity can be seen from 1) adaptation of themes to be relevant to contemporary issues, 2) in-depth exploration of character emotions, 3) modern staging techniques, 4) visualization and stage improvisation.
