Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' understanding of conceptson the subject of pressure. This study was included in an experimental study with a controlgroup pre-test-post-test design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students ofMTsN 4 Jombang. The sample in this study was class VIII-A which amounted to 35 students asthe experimental class and VIII-B totaling 38 students as the control class. The researchinstruments were in the form of learning media questionnaires and tests of students' conceptualunderstanding. Testing the hypothesis using the t-test. the calculation results obtained by tcount= 2.569 and t table = 2.065 with a significant level of 0.05. This shows that tcount> t table.Thus the application of macromedia flash animation has an effect on the results of learningphysics subject matter pressure.Keywords: macromedia flash animation, learning outcomes, pressure

Abstract

Misconception diagnostic tests are rarely carried out by lecturers in lectures because of the length of time needed to make test instruments and data analysis to be able to provide immediate feedback. The purpose of this study was to produce a Computer Based Diagnostic Test Misconception program for students in physics on temperature and heat. The research design used was the modified Borg and Gall Research and Development (R & D). This research was conducted at Tulungagung IAIN by involving 10 students of educations Physics The instrument for data collection is in the form of a validator questionnaire, and a product development trial questionnaire. The research data includes quantitative data in the form of evaluating validators and questionnaires from the trial results, as well as qualitative data in the form of comments and suggestions given by validators and students. The results show that the development program is feasible to use based on expert validation with very feasible categories and supported by student responses / comments in good categories. The computer based diagnostic test misception program produced has four main parts, namely diagnostic tests, diagnostic test results, discussion of questions, and remedial in the form of remedial material. The results of the analysis of effectiveness tests can be concluded that computer based diagnostic test misconseption programs can improve students' conceptual understanding and be able to reduce student misconceptions in temperature and heat material.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika di sekolah sebagian besar berpusat pada materi yang diajarkan dalam buku. Tidak banyak pembelajaran fisika yang benar-benar menjelaskan dan menerapkan realitas budaya di sekitar siswa. Salah satu budaya yang dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran yakni tari Lenggang Kencana. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep fisika materi gerak dan gaya pada tari Lenggang Kencana dan mengetahui cara penerapannya dalam pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian etnofisika. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data yang diperoleh, peneliti menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Peneliti mengecek keabsahan data dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa konsep fisika gerak dan gaya pada tari Lenggang Kencana, diantaranya gerak lurus beraturan, gerak lurus berubah beraturan, gerak melingkar, gaya gesek, dan hukum I Newton serta tarian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pembelajaran fisika berupa praktik secara langsung, video pembelajaran, dan juga dapat diterapkan dalam kegiatan P5 (Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila) dengan tema kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Understanding concepts is very required in physics learning. Many students have different understandings about scientific concepts, this term is usually called misconceptions. Misconceptions are a problem that must be addressed immediately, because they are one of the factors that cause students to experience difficulties in learning physics. This research aims to determine the effect of the PhET virtual simulation laboratory in overcoming students' misconceptions about fluids. This type of research is a Pretest-Posttest One Group Pre-Experimental design. The sample for this research was class XI science students at MA Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon Tembelang Jombang, taken using a purposive sampling technique. The test used is in the form of a multi-tier multiple choice test from a four-tier diagnostic test with a certainty response index (CRI) consisting of 20 items. The results of this study show that students' misconceptions decreased for all sub-concepts of fluid materials. Based on the statement explained previously, it can be concluded that physics learning based on virtual laboratories can correct students' misconceptions, especially in fluids

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi mahasiswa Tadris Fisika yang sedang menempuh matakuliah Kalkulus II menggunakan four tier diagnostic test. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik tes diagnostik menggunakan four tier diagnostic test dan teknik wawancara. Hasil analisis tes diagnostik menggunakan four tier diagnostic test menunjukkan bahwa dari 41 mahasiswa tadris Fisika yang menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini, didapatkan sebanyak 52,03% mahasiswa termasuk kriteria mengetahui konsep, sedangkan sisanya 5,69% mahasiswa tidak mengetahui konsep, 2,44% mahasiswa menebak dan 39,84% mahasiswa mengalami miskonsepsi. Sebagaian besar mahasiswa mengalami miskonsepsi pada konsep turunan fungsi logaritma natural, Integral rangkap dua, aplikasi integral rangkap dua, persamaan diferensial orde satu dan dua.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with significant renewable energy potential. One of the sources of renewable energy is the micro-hydro power plant in Tulungagung, an area traversed by large rivers. This study aims to analyze the potential of Micro-Hydro Power Plants (PLTMH) on tributaries in Tulungagung. The research covers 14 rivers in Tulungagung, with location selection based on several criteria. The results indicate that out of the 14 surveyed locations, 10 rivers have the potential to be developed into PLTMH. These rivers include: Srabah River with a capacity of 6.45 kW, Buntaran River with 5.88 kW, Ngranti River with 14.97 kW, Dawuhan River with 7.72 kW, Kalimas River with 39.28 kW, Jajar River with 7.78 kW, Jambu River with 5.35 kW, Ariyojeding River (Lodagung flow) with 248.13 kW, Gilang River with 12.16 kW, Petung River with 12.66 kW. The river with the highest potential and most suitable for a PLTMH is the Aryojeding River, which has the largest capacity at 248.13 kW.

Abstract

This research contributes to the priorities of "Merdeka Belajar 2021", digitization of schools and learning media, and character education. This study used research and development (R&D) by Borg and Gall, modified by Sugiyono. In this method, there were ten research steps, which are then limited to seven steps. The seven steps are potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision I. The instruments used came from the validation sheets of material and media experts, as well as electronic module readability questionnaires from MTsN 3 Tulungagung students. Data analysis used linkert scales 1-4. Validation results from media and material experts show valid criteria based on the attractiveness of the appearance and depth of the material, both in terms of contextual aspects and its integration with the Qur’an. Based on the test results, the electronic module is very interesting because it is presented interactively.
