Abstract

Abstrak Berbicara merupakan salah satu aspek dari empat keterampilan berbahasa yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan manusia dan harus dipelajari oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan media papan cerita bergambar dalam pembelajaran berbicara di kelas II SDN Mojowuku Kedamean Gresik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental dengan jenis one group pretest-posttest designs. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan observasi dan teknik tes. Analisis data yang berupa observasi dianalisis dengan rumus presentase dan data yang berupa hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu 91,30 % dan ketercapaian pembelajaran yaitu 83,15 %. Sedangkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada saat posttest lebih tinggi dari pada nilai yang diperoleh pada saat pretest. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari perolehan nilai pretest rata-rata 53,85 sedangkan nilai posttest rata-rata 78,88. Data tersebut selanjutnya akan dianalisis dengan uji t. Dari hasil uji beda (uji t) diketahui bahwa harga thitung lebih besar dari pada harga ttabel yaitu (21,77 > 2,064). Kata Kunci: media papan cerita bergambar, keterampilan berbicara, bercerita Abstract Speaking is one of four language aspects that very important to human life and must be learned by student. Those matters certainly diminished learning activity. Therefore, researcher want to conduct study that aim to found the effectivity of using picture storyboard media on speaking lesson in II SDN Mojowuku Kedamean Gresik. This research was applied quantitative research approach with pre-experimental design type and one-group pretest-posttest research design. Data collecting method that applied were observation and test. Data analysis for observation analyzed by percentage formula and test analyzed with t-test. Research results showed that learning implementation was 91.30% and learning achievement was 83.15%. Thus, achievement and implementation percentage categorized very good. While for research result showed that score mean that obtained during posttest was higher than score that obtained on pretest. It can be seen from pretest score with mean as big as 53.85, while for posttest mean was 78.88. Later, those data will analyzed by t-test. From t-test it found that tcountbigger than ttable that is (21.77>2.064).  Keywords: comic board media, speaking skill, storytelling

Abstract

Character education in early childhood is an effort to instill commendable behavior in children, both behavior in worship, behavior as a good citizen, behavior in interacting with other people and the environment, and commendable behavior that is beneficial for their success in life. Character education is implemented in every environment where children are. The family environment is the first environment that children find. Parents have the responsibility to instill good attitudes in children. Parents should not leave their children's character education to the teachers. Parents and teachers are models that children will imitate and emulate, both in words and deeds. Character development in children can be done through advice, habituation, modeling, and reinforcement.
