Abstract

Kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini di TK Atik Tohir Falak masih sangat kurang, hal ini disebabkan kurangnya stimulasi yang diberikan kepada anak-anak, dan kurangnya kepercayaan orang tua kepada anak untuk bisa memberikan kesempatan mereka bereksplorasi pada setiap kegiatan. Padahal perkembangan motorik halus anak usia dini sangat penting dimana otot-otot kecil akan terstimulasi seperti tangan, jari jemari. Banyak yang mengabaikan akan hal ini padahal stimulasi Motorik Halus sangatlah penting. Banyak media yang dapat digunakan ana-anak untuk bereksplorasi yang akan membantu merangsang motorik halus, termasuk barang-barang bekas yang dapat digunakan saat berkegiatan tentunya dengan tetap memperhatikan kebersihan dan keamanan benda yang akan digunakan. Media barang bekas ini seperti barang bahan terbuat dari plastic, kaleng dan yang lainnya, dapat digunakan dan ditemukan secara mudah dimanapun. Anak-anak dapat membuat suatu projek dengan menggunakan benda-benda tersebut, misalnya membuat mobilan dari botol plastic, dengan kegiatan tersebut menggunakan aktivitas tangan yang akan dapat merangsang otot-otot kecil, atau menggunakan kertas dengan cara di remas. Di TK Atika Tohir Falaq telah menggunakan media barang bekas untuk menstimulasi motorik halus tersebut, dengan tujuan dapat terstimulasinya motorik halus anak usia dini

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of information technology-based management education in vocational schools. The implementation of technology was conducted in several schools, covering managerial aspects as well as academic aspects. This research utilizes a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data obtained through literature review and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results show that technology-based management education is essential to provide information to support and facilitate the management and academic processes daily. Schools must invest in technology-based school systems to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of school management generally.

Abstract

This study focuses on the effect of using stimulant play and word learning hard to remember a new word. The purpose of this study was to describe the motivations of students learning pre-game learning, to explain the motivations of students learning pre-game play, to explore the significant impact of using quiz games words. The research method used in this study is numerical. This type of test is an experimental test. In addition, the test sample included 92 students. It consisted of an experimental class of 48 students as well as a management class of 46 students. During the data collection, the researcher used the research paper to determine the motivation for learning English and speaking in data collection. To analyze the data, the researcher used a t-test method. The score of the test class before using Whispering Game is 64 and the score after using Whispering Game is 85. Currently, the score of the class in the test is 75,52 In addition, the t count score is greater than table (5.46> 1.684).

Abstract

This study uses qualitative research methods to determine the effectiveness of using a u-dictionary application in the learning of English. The data were analyzed using qualitative approaches by the researchers. In this study, questionnaires were employed as research instruments, meetings were held at Google, and interviews were done (open questions). The students of SMK Walisongo Bekasi are the focus of this study. The author takes 20 students using the online dictionary as a sample. The method used by the author is the questionnaire. As a result, it can be concluded that the u-dictionary application can motivate them to learn English because by using this application learning can be easier, faster, and more practical. Meanwhile, students' difficulties in using the u-dictionary application are a bad signal and the lack of funds to fulfill quotas. According to the results of the students' questionnaire, 14 out of 20 students (70%) found the application u-dictionary learning to be highly fascinating. The school should give additional assistance and facilities for instructors and kids to continue using the internet by providing sufficient quota facilities for teachers and other supports, according to policy recommendations. As a result, using the application u-dictionary can help teachers carry out a variety of online teaching and learning activities with their pupils.

Abstract

This research is designed specifically to measure the effectiveness of recitation method based on ICT (Moodle) in learning argumentation writing skills at students of English Language Education Program, Universitas Panca Sakti Bekasi. which based on the result of preliminary observation which show that students learning outcome was still low and there were some problems that related to the result of their writing skills that still have not achieved the expected aims. This research used the method of classroom action research that involved the number of samples in this research were 30 students. For the data collecting technique, this research used quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative data was taken from the results of the pre-test and post-test, while qualitative data was taken during the process of observation and action. The research result shows that there is an increase in learning activity and student learning outcomes. The increase is known from the percentage value of student activity in attending learning process has increased, the results obtained in the first cycle percentage is 53%, then there is an increase in the second cycle to 55%. Student learning outcomes also increased, the average score in cycle 1 is 77.47, with the number of students completing are 21. Cycle 2 there is an increase in the average score by 4.13 to 81.6 with the number of students completing are 23.

Abstract

The use of collaborative tactics based on Moodle is quite effective in assisting students in improving their reading comprehension. Moodle is an online education platform that creates a unique learning environment for students to learn in. Students are split into two groups based on their attitudes toward information from outside sources: field-independent learners and field-dependent learners. The Independent Learner has a self-sufficient mentality and is not depending on others. The dependent learner, on the other hand, is a student who is completely reliant on the people or her immediate surroundings. The goal of this research is to see how collaborative techniques based on Moodle and Cognitive Styles affect students' reading comprehension. It divides the participants into two groups at random: an experimental group that received CSR through Moodle, and a control group that received CSR without Moodle. The GEFT (Group Embedded Figures Test) is used to see if the participants' cognitive styles are field-independent or field-dependent. Furthermore, a two-way ANOVA and descriptive test are used to analyze the data. The results of ANOVA test revealed that the learners' reading comprehension was influenced by CSR and cognitive styles. This study suggests that English teachers use Moodle for CSR with cognitive types to help students improve their reading comprehension. Finally, the descriptive test's average differences revealed that CSR with Moodle is better for learners with independent cognitive styles than for those with dependent ones. CSR without Moodle, on the other hand, is best for dependent learners.

Abstract

Sociolinguistics is a study of the connection between language and society. People have a different language style when they interact with each one. By many variations that they have, it can be possible for them to mix their language in their utterance—mixing one language with the other languages, in the sociolinguistics field, is called by code-mixing. It has been common to use of code-mixing in society. It happens in the one of the public figures and famous that is Mr. Nadiem Makariem. Therefore, this research focuses on code mixing that emerges on video of Mr. Nadiem Makariem. The objective of this research is to find out the types and levels of code mixing that appear on the video. This research was descriptive qualitative method and the researchers act as the main instrument of this research. In collecting the data, this research utilized documentation method. This study employed content analysis focusing on analyzing the types of code mixing which defined by Hoffman and the levels of code mixing that argued by Suwito. Then, the result of types and levels of code mixing were counted by using Walizer’s formula. The result shows that there were 134 data in the types and levels of code mixing. In the types of code mixing, the highest type was intra-sentential of code mixing (88.8%) and the lowest type was involving a change of pronunciation (0%). While, in the levels of code mixing, word level (44.8%) becomes the dominant while word repetition (3%) and idiom (1.5%) were the lowest.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of zoom meeting on e-learning in student speaking skill at ninth grade of SMPN 35 Bekasi.  The use of zoom meetings supports the learning process in the covid-19 pandemic.  This research was conducted in July 2021. The analysis used in quantitative research is experimental design. This research sample is 40 students in grade ninth with divided into two groups, namely a control group with a total of 20 students and an experiment group with a total of 20 students. Data collection is carried out with a test technique system to get the results of students' speaking skills. Statistical test using SPSS 22. The results showed that there was a difference between the control group and the experiment group. This can be proven by; 1. Instrument test results with a reliability level of 0.800 which means that the results are valid. 2. 2. the test result t is a significance score (2-tailed) from the test result of 0.00 < 0.05 so that a sig score of 0.00 is seen to show the effect of using zoom meetings in speech ability in SMPN 35 Bekasi.

Abstract

The era of disruption is hitting various fields, including education. This was accelerated by the emergence of a global pandemic that forced all societies to adapt to new habits, including the distance learning process. Innovations and creations are conducted to find the best alternative in the new standard era. Assessment is one thing that is essential to the educational process. Various ways and methods have been developed for conducting learning assessments. One of the web-based applications that can be used is Quizizz. This study aims to see and analyze the application of Quizizz to English subjects as an alternative to distance learning assessment. The data were collected by using a questionnaire, interview, observation, and document review. The participants of this study were the teachers of English, the vice-principal of facility and infrastructure, and the students. The findings of this study showed that the teachers of English at vocational high schools at SMKN 14 used hardware such as a projector, laptop, speaker, headset, and smartphone, while software such as the internet, dictionary application, e-book, Microsoft office, and browsing application. The teachers used discovery learning to utilize ICT in the syntax of the learning model. The background of the research was at SMKN 14 Jakarta. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data analysis was performed using the triangulation technique. The results showed increased students' enthusiasm for using Quizizz as an alternative assessment of English subjects at school.

Abstract

As an effort to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the government issued a policy for schools to implement online learning since March 2020. Was online learning effective during the Covid-19 pandemic. The object that the writer examined was the ability to speak and tell stories in class VII Sentosa School students. Because maybe online learning at home is less effective so students are asked to look for it from various sources. During online learning, teachers are required to be more innovative, and teachers must change and create new teaching methods so that teaching and learning activities are not boring and monotonous. Sentosa School grade 7 researchers and tutors conduct online storytelling activities in English. Researchers apply learning to tell stories with the media of hand puppets and discussion methods. This online field research was conducted using a quantitative approach with the discussion method.
