Abstract

Abstrak Pemasaran di dunia pendidikan sangat diperlukan, dengan tujuan untuk mengenalkan sekolah kepada calon peserta didik baru terkait dengan mutu yang dimiliki sekolah. Persaingan di dunia pendidikan sudah sangat atraktif, sehingga dibutuhkan strategi-strategi khusus dalam pemasaran pendidikan. Strategi pemasaran pendidikan yang efektif akan memiliki feedback yang baik terhadap sekolah, karena citra sekolah dimasyarakat menjadi lebih baik dan sekolah akan diminati peserta didik baru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis: (1) Strategi pemasaran pendidikan, (2) Hambatan-hambatan yang dihadapi terkait strategi pemasaran pendidikan, (3) Usaha dalam menghadapi hambatan strategi pemasaran pendidikan. Pendekantan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan rancangan penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data. Untuk menguji keabsahan data tersebut menggunakan teknik-teknik meliputi credibility, transferability, dependability dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Strategi pemasaran pendidikan menggunakan 8 (delapan) cara yaitu: (a) Diferensiasi Produk; (b) Promosi ke Daerah-daerah; (c) Tim Promosi; (d) Program Khusus Pemasaran; (e) Media Promosi; (f) Memberikan Jaminan Pada Konsumen Jasa Pendidikan; (g) Melakukan Analisis Strategi; (h) Melakukan Kerjasama Dengan Pihak Lain. (2) Hambatan yang dihadapi madrasah: (a) Kompetitor sekolah yang sering mengedepankan faktor fasilitas pendidikan; (b) Komunikasi antar anggota belum terjalin dengan baik; (c) Dana program terhambat. (3) Usaha dalam menghadapi beberapa hamabtan-hambatan melalui: (a) Melakukan program evaluasi mingguan, bulanan dan tahunan. Program evaluasi dilakukan sekolah dengan melakukan rapat kordinasi dengan berbagai anggota terkait; (b) Melibatakan berbagai personel sekolah dalam pelaksanaan strategi pemasaran. Kata Kunci: strategi pemasaran, hambatan, usaha menghadapi hambatan Abstract Marketing in the education world was necessary, with the goal to present the school to prospective new learners related to the quality of the schools. Competition in education world was very attractive, therefore we needed specific strategies in education marketing. Education effective marketing strategy would have a good feedback for the school because the better school's image in the community and the school would demand new learners. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze: (1) The educational marketing strategy, (2) The obstacles that occur toward the educational marketing, and (3) The enterprises in the face of obstacles educational marketing strategy. The approach used in this study was qualitative approach, as well as the case study method of data collection techniques in this study using interviews, observation and documentation. The data had been obtained and analyzed by using data reduction, data presentation, data verification. To test the validity of such data using credibility, transferability, dependability , and confirmability techniques. The results of this study indicated that: (1) The marketing strategy of education using eight (8) ways: (a) Product Differentiation; (b) Promotion to the regions; (c) Team Promotion; (d) Special Marketing Programs; (e) Media of Promotion; (f) Provide Security At Consumer Education Services; (g) Conduct Strategy Analysis; (h) Doing Cooperation With Other Parties. (2) Barriers faced in madrasah: (a) schools competitors that often emphasized factors educational facilities; (b) Communication between members which was not established well; (c) Obstructed of program funding. (3) The efforts in the face several barriers through: (a) Conducting an evaluation program weekly, monthly and yearly. Evaluation program conducted by the school held a coordination meeting with various members concerned; (b) involving various school parties in the implementation of marketing strategies. Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions where students study the Al-Qur'an, Hadith, fiqh, morals and other Islamic knowledge, both formally and non-formally. Apart from functioning as a place for religious education, Islamic boarding schools also shape the character and personality of students. However, one of the problems that often arises is the low level of discipline among students, which results in non-compliance with rules, weak motivation to learn, and lack of responsibility. Discipline is an important value that reflects obedience, order, and a sense of responsibility. To instill these values, Islamic boarding schools implement a ta'zir system. The aims of this research are: (1) to describe the application of ta'zir at the Tanwirul Qulub Islamic Boarding School, Sungelebak Village, Karanggeneng District, Lamongan Regency. (2) To describe the application of ta'zir in shaping the disciplined character of male students at the Tanwirul Qulub Islamic Boarding School, Sungelebak Village, Karanggeneng District, Lamongan Regency, The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques include; observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of ta'zir at the Tanwirul Qulub Islamic Boarding School is educational and proportional, through verbal warnings, additional assignments, spiritual formation, and social sanctions. Ta'zir is carried out educationally, taking into account the condition and psychology of the students, so that they realize their mistakes and do not repeat them. Ta'zir has been proven to be effective in forming discipline, responsibility, obedience and self-control. Students who are subjected to ta'zir show positive changes in behavior and worship. In the long term, ta'zir fosters moral awareness, self-control and discipline as part of character, as well as providing a preventive effect on other students.
