Abstract:Pekanbaru City development begins trading center Siak River bank in the area Senapelan, and from there the actual zero point of Pekanbaru is located. The zero point of Pekanbaru when it is marked by a small monument in the area of Indonesia Godown I, Kampung Bandar. The square-shaped stone monument with a height of approximately 70 cm and engraved Pb.0, Pad 313, Bkn 65. (Pb are Pekanbaru, Pad means Padang City and Bkn means Bangkinang City).However, in 2011 was made a monument called the monument Zapin is now recognized to be the zero point of Pekanbaru. Displacement of the zero point is being debated and will shift the identity of the city of Pekanbaru.The purpose of this study is 1) to know the history of the city of Pekanbaru 2) to determine the beginning of the laying of the zero point of Pekanbaru 3) to determine the cause of the zero point of Pekanbaru moved 4) to determine the effect displacement of the zero point of Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is the method of historical research. The technique that use is an analytical technique that is descriptive analysis approach that is used to describe a state or condition with respect to the zero point of the displacement Influence of Senapelan to Sudirman Pekanbaru, which is associated with the existing theory and the data obtained, so it seems obvious conclusion. Results from this study is the influence that occurs due to migration of zero to Sudirman monument that was originally located in the area of Senapelan. Among count automatic distance changing, people's views will be zero, and the downtown area being the same, and the main thing is the identity of the city slightly shifted because that. Simply put, the calculation of the initial distance specified by monument zero point in Senapelan now be changed. Abstract: The existence of ABRI in line with its role in Indonesia after the 1980s until the 1990s has gained the spotlight and criticism from various segments of society such as scientists, political experts, intellectuals, public figures and even ABRI's own retired officers. This situation provoked the reaction of the Indonesian people to the role of ABRI so intense and criticized that its role in all life arrangements in Indonesia must be reviewed so as not to suffer the people and the destruction of the Indonesian nation. The purpose of this research is to know the history of the birth of the TNI, to know the role of military transition period of government in politics, to know the role of military transition period of government in economy, to know role of military transition government in social-culture field. And To know the role of Military during the transition of Government in the field of Defense. The method used in this research is historical and qualitative method. Data is collected through literature and decumentation techniques. The data is obtained from books, magazines, and articles in its own analysis. Then dianalis using qualitative descriptive. The result of this research is that there has been a shift in the role of the military during the transition of Indonesian government where in the era of President Soeharto the role of the military still feels strong but after the end of the Soeharto government the role of the military was restored to its original function as a tool of state power in charge of maintaining the sovereignty, Republic of Indonesia.Keywords: Shifting, Military, Government of Indonesia

Abstract: This study aims to determine ( 1 ) the history of oil palm plantations in PTPN V Talang Danto District of Tapung HuluKampar ( 2 ) the development of oil palm PTPN V in Talang Danto Kampar District of TapungHulu 1996-2012 ( 3 ) the impact of oil palm plantations PTPN V to the socio-economic life of the people in the village of Talang Danto District of TapungHulu Kampar . This study uses history ( History ) with data collection techniques such as observation and interviews . Speakers who used the local community , employees who are still working in PTPN V and retired employees and supported by the book - a book that deals with the study .The results showed that the background of the establishment of PTPN V is based on the Indonesian Government Regulation No. 10 In 1996 , since March 11, 1996 the company together with PT . Plantation II , PT . Plantation IV and PT . Plantation V into PT . Nusantara Plantation V. The development of oil palm plantations in PTPN V Talang Danto can be seen from several fields , such as production , labor , facilities and infrastructure that has developed from year to year . Abstract: Library is an institution that plays a role in the development of interest in reading. It is very reasonable, the fact that the library is an entity that is directly related to various types of reading material. All of these reading materials by the library is not just for storage only. But, more than that these materials should be utilized as much as possible by library users. Libraries can be a tool to grow and increase interest in reading when the library can serve as a center of interest in reading. A comfortable and quiet library and characterize a friendly and fun place for children, adolescents and adults. The purpose of this study was to determine student reading in library Soeman HS, to examine the use of the library by students Soeman HS increase interest in reading, and the role of libraries Soeman HS in increasing student interest in reading. This research method is quantitative descriptive method. The location of research is Soeman HS library is located at the Sudirman No. 462 Pekanbaru. When the study for 3 months starting from the start until the exam thesis proposal seminar. Data collection technique used observation, questionnaires and interviews guided and tabulation of data contained in tabular form. Results of research in general researchers can say that the implementation of student interest in reading categorized quite good due to the efforts made to improve the student's own interest in reading. In addition, use of the library by students Soeman HS can be quite good because students have been able to take advantage of reading materials in the library Soeman to seek collection of books he needed. And the role of libraries Soeman HS has shown consistency in realizing the mission of which is to increase the interest and reading culture for the community.Key Words: Library, Reading, Reading Interest

Abstract. The Independence-Revolution is a term that used in the Third Universe-State to independence-war for the extinct Colonizer-State after the end of second world-war. While it is the Indonesian Revolution-Period was going on 1945-1950's. The one of figured who was being famous at the time was Sjafruddin Prawiranegara. Sjafruddin Prawiranegara was an important figured for Indonesian Republic. He was a staged player, an economist who Indonesia ever had. When the Dutch-Aggression Military II, Sjafruddin Prawiranegara built an Emergency-Government of Indonesian Republic because all head leaders of Indonesia, such as Soekarno, Hatta, and Others were arrested by Dutch. Appearance of an Emergency-Government was to move from one place to another, where was an Emergency-Government mention, over there was the Capital of Its Government, started from West Sumatera until Riau. There are many things that happened in his life during to conduct a guerilla war did not except in Riau. The purpose of this research are, first to be aware about biography of Sjafruddin Prawiranegara. Second, to be aware the effort of Sjafruddin Prawiranegara protected sovereignty of Indonesian Republic from Dutch-Aggression Military II, in Riau on 1948-1949. Third, to be aware the effort of Sjafruddin Prawiranegara after left from Riau. Fourth, to be aware when it Indonesian Republic-Capital back to Yogyakarta. The advantages that required from this research are, first to learn the possession of knowledge. Second, the contribution of intention and give some information as a composition for all of readers to be aware how the roles and efforts that our patriots has done to protect sovereignty of Indonesia from colonization. Abstrak : Natuna district education office has the arduous task in advancing education in the District Natuna after the split, after the division of the education department autonomously take care of the quality of education and the development of education in its own country, because after the expansion of education in the Natuna has not reached the desired target by the community and local government. Achievement of the National Examination in the 2010-2011 school year. Department of Education District Natuna need accurate measures and hard work. By carrying out the qualifications of teachers in the District Natuna and will provide tutoring outside of school to students.The purpose of the study was to (1) determine the expansion history of the area in Riau Islands District Natuna Regency, especially in the years 2006-2013. (2) determine the development of education in post-Proliferation Natuna Regency 2006-2013. (3) determine the barriers faced by the District Education Office Natuna 2006-2013.This type of research is descriptive qualitative approach that aims to provide a systematic overview of the state of the ongoing research on the object. Abstract :The tradition there is a tradition in the village Nagasaribu Toba Batak tribe funeral ceremony where traditional ceremonies of death are classified according to age and status of the person who died. The traditional ceremony increasingly laden death if untreated indigenous people dead: Has married but without children, had been married to abandon their children are still young, have children who are grown up, there's even married but does not have grandchildren , she already had grandchildren, but there are still children who are unmarried and have had grandchildren but not necessarily all of the children.Researchers used qualitative research methods to study descriptive data. In the data collection researchers used interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted by the authors is to collect data and then analyze the data. The result of this study are ceremonial death Batak Toba, for those who die for the people who have been married have not had children, has been married to leave small children and have had children who have grown up, thereâ€™s even married, but do not have a custom grandchildren used very simple, namely prayer. For who already have grandchildren, but there are still children who are not married and have used custom may use tor-tor and drumbs but can not be called great because there is his custom unmarried and to that already have grandchildren but not necessarily all of the children, indigenous customary use is already using tor-tor and drums.
