Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penduduk dengan perubahan musim yang cukup esktrem di Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan mengakibatkan jumlah ketersediaan air tidak terkendali dan sangat terbatas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air baik itu kebutuhan air irigasi dan air baku. Salah satu solusi yang dilakukan yaitu dengan konservasi melalui pembangunan kolam tampungan atau embung. Potensi kolam tampungan embung yang dapat ditingkatkan salah satunya yaitu Embung Simarubak Ubak di Kecamatan Dolok Sanggul dikarenakan catchment area yang cukup luas dan elevasi topografi yang curam. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menghitung potensi kapasitas tampungan Embung Simarubak Ubak berdasarkan simulasi antara jumlah ketersediaan air (inflow) dengan kebutuhan air (outflow). Pendekatan metodologi dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan menghitung jumlah ketersediaan air (inflow) berdasarkan curah hujan bulanan, evapotranspirasi, debit andalan sedangkan kebutuhan air (outflow) dihitung untuk menentukan kebutuhan air irigasi dan air baku. Simulasi kapasitas tampungan dianalisa dengan metode analitis numerik antara jumlah inflow dan outflow dalam kurun waktu satu tahun. Hasil analisa simulasi kapasitas tampungan Embung Simarubak Ubak yaitu 93,394.77 m3 dapat memenuhi kebutuhan air baku penduduk sebanyak 1623 jiwa dengan luas daerah irigasi potensial seluas 94.51 Ha.

Abstract

The construction of the Piam River weir is one of the efforts to support food security for the community, especially in Langkat Regency. Increased water levels in the rainy season with high intensity and long duration can cause rapid changes in the return flow with large volumes in the upper reaches of the river. Changes in the return flow can cause flooding in the river plain, resulting in a risk of loss to the community. One of the initial nonstructural efforts in flood mitigation is to delineate flood inundation areas through hydraulic simulation modelling based on the 100-year return period maximum flood discharge, longitudinal and transverse river profiles, and weir profiles. Modelling simulations were carried out using HEC RAS Software in a 2-dimensional manner based on 100-year return period flood discharge data as boundary conditions upstream, DEMNAS as a base map of the river geometry profile, and weir dimensions as boundary conditions downstream. The results of modeling the flood inundation area with a 100-year return period flood discharge of 239.66 m3/det show that the maximum potential flood water level reaches 3 m inundating the plain area up to 500 m from the river bank. The flood inundation area that occurs reaches 390.21 ha so that flood control efforts are needed by building embankments and normalizing the river upstream of the weir.

Abstract

this study aims to analyze the volume of the storage capacity of the Bolon Paranginan Selatan storage as a solution to meet the water needs of both irrigation and raw water due to the increase in population and the need for food in Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency. The study was conducted in the Bolon Paranginan Selatan storage with the water source coming from rainfall that flows within the catchment area of the storage. The method approach is carried out quantitatively based on the simulation of the storage volume capacity between inflow and outflow. The research methodology is carried out by analyzing monthly rainfall, monthly dependable discharge with a probability of 80%, irrigation water demand discharge, population projections, raw water demand discharge, and numerical analytical simulation of storage capacity. The results showed the large volume of storage capacity of the Bolon Paranginan Selatan is 12.034,71 m3 with the height of 3 m from the bottom of the storage for the utilization of raw water needs of 6768 people and the potential area of irrigation area reaching 30,671 Ha with an increase in cropping patterns to twice the planting period.

Abstract

Abstract: Belawan River Basin is one of the watershed, which currently change the land use because of the increasing population and industrial development. Rainfall with high intensity can cause rapid runoff, causing flood around the plains of the river cross section. The purpose of this research is to determine the flood water level of Belawan Watershed and flood discharge return period. Scope of activity in this research is analyzing daily rainfall Belawan watershed with the flood-discharge return period. Scope of activity in this research is analyzing maximum daily rainfall Belawan Watershed, and simulating flood water level with HECRAS. The result of the study shows that the potency of Belawan watershed flood water level is caused by flood discharge at 25 to 100 years especially in the middle to downstream of river cross section that is between 0.7 m and 3.3 m.Keywords: Flood Discharge, Flood Level, Belawan Watershed, Software HECRAS.Abstrak: Daerah Aliran Sungai Belawan adalah salah satu DAS yang pada saat ini mengalami perubahan tata guna lahan seiring bertambahnya jumlah penduduk dan perkembangan industri. Curah hujan yang tinggi dapat mengakibatkan limpasan sehingga menimbulkan tinggi muka air banjir di sekitar dataran penampang sungai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mensimulasi tinggi muka air banjir DAS Belawan dengan debit banjir periode kala ulangnya. Lingkup kegiatan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menganalisa curah hujan harian maksimum rata-rata DAS Belawan dan menganalisa debit banjir kala ulang 2 sampai dengan 100 tahun, mensimulasi tinggi muka air banjir dengan HECRAS. Hasil studi menunjukan potensi tinggi muka air banjir DAS Belawan terjadi akibat debit banjir periode kala ulang 25 sampai dengan 100 tahun khususnya di bagian tengah sampai hilir penampang sungai yaitu berkisar antara 0.7 m sampai dengan 3.3 m.Kata kunci: Debit banjir, Tinggi Banjir, DAS Belawan, Software HECRAS.

Abstract

Sei Sikambing River Basin is one of the Sub Das of Deli River which has an important role in water requirement in Medan City. Rainfall with high intensity is supported by changes in land use causing floods which reach 0.6 m to 1 m from river banks. The purpose of this study was to map the Sei Kambing River basin flood inundation area as information to the public in disaster mitigation efforts. The scope of this research is to analyze the maximum daily rainfall with a return period of 2 to 100 years, analyze flood discharge with a return period of 2 to 100, analyze flood water levels with HECRAS software, and spatially map flood inundation areas with GIS. The results showed that the return flood rate of the Sikambing watershed with a 25-year return period of 211.94 m3/s caused the flood level of the Sikambing watershed to be between 1.7 m to 3.7 m. The Sikambing watershed flood inundation area reached an area of 1.19 Km2 which resulted in the impact of flooding on 5 sub-districts in Medan, namely Medan Selayang District, Medan Sunggal, Medan Petisah, Medan Helvetia, and West Medan.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemanasan Global (Global Warming) telah menyebabkan perubahan iklim yang sangat ekstrem didukung dengan adanya perubahan tataguna lahan di dalam cakupan daerah aliran sungai mengakibatkan dampak yang cukup buruk terhadap kondisi keseimbangan air (Water Balanced). Daerah Aliran Sungai Asahan merupakan salah satu DAS yang memiliki peran yang penting sebagai sumber air dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air di Kabupaten Asahan. Kondisi lahan yang berubah menjadi kritis akibat adanya eksploitasi dan perubahan tataguna lahan mengakibatkan ketersediaan air berkurang dalam memenuhi kebutuhan air. Tujuan penelitian yaitu menganalisis keseimbangan air (Water Balanced) antara jumlah ketersediaan air dengan kebutuhan air di sekitar cakupan Daerah Aliran Sungai Asahan. Lingkup kegiatan penelitian yaitu menganalisis ketersediaan air atau debit andalan dengan probabilitas 90% dengan metode FJ Mock, menganalisis kebutuhan air irigasi, domestik, non domestik, dan menganalisis keseimbangan air (Water Balanced) di tiap lokasi titik pengambilan dengan prinsip pengurangan antara jumlah ketersediaan air dengan kebutuhan air di sepanjang cakupan DAS Asahan dari hulu sampai dengan hilir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwasanya ketersediaan air DAS Asahan paling minimum dengan probabilitas 90% yaitu 34.96 m3/det dapat memenuhi total kebutuhan air DAS Asahan baik itu irigasi, domestik, dan non domestik yaitu 13.00 m3/det. Kata kunci: Keseimbangan air, ketersediaan air, kebutuhan air, DAS Asahan Abstract Global Warming has caused extreme climate change supported by changes in land use within the watershed area resulting in quite bad impact on water balanced conditions. Asahan Watershed is one of the catchment areas which has an important role as the source to supply water requirement in the Asahan District. Land used changes become critical due to exploitation and changes in land use have reduced water availability to fill water requirement. The objective of this research to analysis water balanced between the total water availability and water requirement in the Asahan Watershed. The scopes of this research are analysis water availability or dependable flow using FJ Mock, analysis irrigation water requirement, domestic, nondomestic, and water balanced in each node with the reduction principle between total of water availability and water requirement in the Asahan Watershed from upstream to downstream. Result of this research showed that the lowest water availability Asahan Watershed with probability 90% is 56.43 m3/sec can fill the total of water irrigation, domestic, and non-domestic is 14.80 m3/sec. Keywords: Water balanced, water availability, water requirement, Asahan watershed

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the requirement for the storage capacity of Danau Asam Reservoir as one of the solutions in increasing the availability of water to meet the needs of raw water due to population growth and climate change which is quite extreme. The study was conducted in the Danau Asam Reservoir with source of water from two watersheds that flow into the reservoir, namely the Lopo River Basin with a catchment area of 11.81 Km2 and Kamat Bay with a catchment area of 12.42 Km2 in Kotawaringin Lama District in the West Kotawaringin Regency. The method used is a quantitative approach based on a simulation of the water balance between the inflow and outflow. The inflow parameter is calculated based on 90% probability reliable discharge using the FJ Mock method in two watersheds and the outflow parameter is based on the raw water demand discharge which is calculated based on the population growth rate. The result of the research indicate that the capacity of the Danau Asam Reservoir is 391,842.72 m3 to meet the raw water needs in Kotawaringin Lama District with a population of 35397 people.Keywords: Drought, Raw Water, Storage, Kotawaringin Barat

Abstract

 The food crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has caused the level of hunger to increase to a chronic level that is almost experienced by the whole world, including Indonesia. The increase in population with extreme climate change is a serious problem to overcome the food crisis in the next few years. The impact of climate change with changes in land use results in limited water availability in the development of irrigated land. One solution to overcome the availability of water for the development of irrigated land is to rehabilitate and improve the network of swamp irrigation areas that utilize the dynamics of tidal water levels. Pantai Swamp Irrigation Area is one of the potential lands to be developed into agricultural cultivation land. The study aims to determine the effect of tidal water level elevation on irrigated land based on hydro-topography. The study was conducted in the Pantai Swamp Irrigation Area with the water source coming from the tidal Kapuas Murung River. The method was conducted quantitatively using HEC-RAS software based on tidal data, cross-section and length of the channel, and surface elevation of irrigated land. The results showed that the influence of the tidal dynamics of the Kapuas Murung River is very dominant in irrigating the land with an average tidal water level elevation of + 1.57 m with hydro-topographic dominance included in categories B and C with an area of B 604.5 Ha and C 1201. 5 Ha.Keywords: Tides, Swamps, Hydro-topography, Sungai, Kapuas

Abstract

Daerah Aliran Sungai Deli adalah salah satu DAS yang berperan penting terhadap Kota Medan. Curah hujan yang tinggi disertai dengan perubahan tata guna lahan dapat meningkatkan limpasan air permukaan mengalir dengan cepat dan menimbulkan debit banjir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisa volume tampungan kolam retensi akibat debit banjir kala ulang DAS Deli dengan debit kapasitas penampang sungainya. Lingkup kegiatan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menganalisa curah hujan harian maksimum rata-rata DAS Deli, curah hujan harian maksimum kala ulang 2 s/d 100 tahun, debit banjir kala ulang 2 s/d 100 tahun, debit kolam retensi, dan volume tampungan kolam retensi. Hasil studi menunjukan debit kolam retensi 388.66 m3/det terjadi dengan lama waktu banjir 6.13 jam sehingga  volume tampungan kolam retensi mencapai 8,600,000 m3 dengan rencana luas lahan 215 ha dan rata-rata kedalaman 4 meter.

Abstract

Kota Medan merupakan salah satu kota di Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang mengalami perubahan tata guna lahan akibat adanya pertambahan jumlah penduduk dengan tingkat kelahiran yang cukup tinggi. Perubahan tata guna lahan di sekitar DAS memberikan dampak yang buruk terhadap kemampuan menampung debit aliran. DAS Deli menjadi salah satu DAS yang mencakup wilayah Kota Medan dengan memiliki beberapa Sub Das salah satunya yaitu Sub DAS Bekala. Musim hujan dengan intensitas yang tinggi dan waktu yang lama mengakibatkan wilayah Kota Medan berubah menjadi daerah genangan banjir akibat meluapnya tinggi muka air banjir khususnya Sungai Bekala. Dampak banjir yang terjadi mengakibatkan kerugian bagi masyarakat di Kota Medan sehingga perlu adanya solusi yang efektif dalam pengendalian banjir Kota Medan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melakukan desain kolam retensi di DAS Bekala berdasarkan debit banjir kala ulang dengan debit kapasitas penampang Sungai Bekala. Lingkup kegiatan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menganalisa curah hujan harian rata-rata maksimum DAS Bekala, curah hujan harian maksimum kala ulang 2 s/d 100 tahun, debit banjir kala ulang 2 s/d 100 tahun, debit kolam retensi, dan desain kolam retensi.  Hasil analisa studi menjelaskan yaitu debit kolam retensi DAS Bekala mencapai 94.37 m3/det dengan lama waktu puncak banjir 3.37 jam. Simulasi volume total tampungan kolam retensi DAS Bekala mencapai 907,769.80 m3 dengan rencana dimensi luasan 50 ha dan tinggi 1.82 m. Rencana dimensi bangunan intake lebar 4 m, bukaan pintu 3 m, dan tinggi 4 m dengan jumlah sebanyak 3-unit dan dimensi bangunan pintu penguras lebar 2 m, bukaan pintu 0.5 m, dan tinggi 1 m sebanyak 1 unit.
