Abstract

Abstract Has conducted research and development of student worksheets (LKPD) based constructivism approach on the contens for digestive system and chemicals in life of  IPA class VIII junior high school. There are five LKPD based constructivist approach developed. This research was conducted at the Laboratory PMIPA of Biology Department of the University of Riau and SMPN 1 Pekanbaru until Desember 2016. This type of research is the development with ADDIE’s model of integration to the stage of development. Instruments of data collection in this study is the assessment sheet/validation LKPD and student questionnaire responses. After LKPD developed, validated by 4 validator and then do the first test at 22 student in the 5th semester of biology education FKIP UR, and thesecond test at 20 students of Class VIII at SMPN 1 Pekanbaru. The result shoowed the average score feasibility aspects of the content of 5 LKPD developed is 3.42 very valid category, the mean score of the designing aspect is 3.32 category of very valid, and the mean score is 3.33 pedagogic aspect is very valid category. The mean overall score of the fifth LKPD is 3.35 very valid category. The results of the questionnaire responses in the firsttest showed a mean score of 91 with very good categories and the results of questionnaires in the secondtest showed a mean score of 91 with very good category. The results of the analysis of the answers of students in LKPD 1 and 4 showed the average value of both 3.27 good categories and 3.35 good categories. It can be concluded that LKPD Based constructivist approach on the contens for digestive system and chemicals in life of  IPA class VIII junior high school as well as fit for use in science teaching in schools could provide insight and knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to synthesize thin film of polyaniline-nickel oxide (PANI-NiO) as an electrode in capacitive deionization (CDI) technology. Thin film PANI-NiO were synthesized by electrodeposition method with different applied potentials. The FTIR spectrum and XRD pattern confirmed that PANI-NiO has been successfully synthesized. Based on the SEM-EDX data, PANI-NiO has a tightly stacked granular morphology, which consist of Fe, Cr, S, Ni, O, and C elements. Based on experimental results, the highest capacitance come from PANI-NiO 1.25 V with a value of 475.24 F/g. PANI-NiO 1.25 V also has a small resistance, which is 13.55 Ω. Salt reduction efficiency test for PANI-NiO 1.25 V also shows the highest salt reduction efficiency compared to other electrodes. Owing to its high capacitance, low charge transfer resistance, and high salt reduction capacity, the PANI-NiO prepared at 1.25 V might be a potential material to be developed for the electrolyte deionization application.

Abstract

Greenhouse merupakan salah satu bentuk solusi pertanian modern untuk membudidayakan tanaman yang tidak sesuai dengan iklim tropis, khususnya di Indonesia. Namun, pembangunan greenhouse itu sendiri memerlukan biaya yang cukup mahal. Sumber daya perangkat elektronik yang diperoleh dari panel surya digunakan untuk menyediakan pasokan listrik kepada perangkat elektronik seperti exhaust fan, panel surya, dan perangkat lainnya. Sayangnya, sering kali terjadi kasus-kasus orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab melakukan pencurian atau merusak properti dan tanaman di area sekitar greenhouse, yang dapat merugikan petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi objek (manusia) yang melintas di sekitar greenhouse, peneliti menggunakan teknik pengolahan citra sebagai mata robot untuk mendeteksi manusia di mana objek selain manusia diabaikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah YOLOv3-tiny, yang merupakan metode pembaharuan dari Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). YOLOv3-tiny akan melakukan prediksi terhadap objek yang akan dideteksi dengan bounding box sebagai output. Selanjutnya, YOLOv3-tiny akan memilih bounding box yang paling sesuai dalam memprediksi objek. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa robot mampu mendeteksi objek berupa manusia, serta menghitung akurasi kinerja model.
