Abstract

Abstract: This research is a survey research about Competence of Pedagogic Students of Primary School Teacher Education Program University of Riau. The purpose of this research is to know and describe University of Riau of Riau University. This research was conducted in Teacher Education Program of Elementary School Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau on July 2017 until August 2017. The sample of this research is student of Generation 2014 with amount of 76 respondents. Data collection techniques used is a written test technique with the instrument of this study is an objective matter about teacher pedagogic competence with four alternative answers with the number 49 questions. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique. The results indicate that students' pedagogical competencies are included in the "Enough" category. This is evidenced by the acquisition: The average acquisition of pedagogical competence of students is 50.51 with the category "Enough". The number of students who scored in the interval 85-100 with the category of "Very Good" amounted to 0 students, at intervals of 70-84 with the category "Good" amounted to 1 student, at intervals of 50-69 with the category "Enough" amounted to 47 students, interval 0-49 with the category "Less" amounted to 28 students.Keywords: pedagogic competence

Abstract

This survey research aimed at determining the ecological intelligence level of students. It involved 120 fourth grade students of elementary school. The findings revealed that the students’ intelligence level, with an average score of 77.48, was classified in ‘high’ category. In addition, other aspects were also classified into the ‘high’ category with an average score on attitude aspect of 78.19, skill aspect of 77.69, and participation aspect of 76.56. To conclude, the ecological intelligence of the fourth grade elementary school students was classified in ‘high’ category.
