Abstract

Fesyen baju bekas menawarkan wilayah kajian yang di dalamnya terdapat tanda, kode, makna. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk meneliti adanya tanda, pesan, dan makna yang berada dalam baju bekas koleksi Le Budget. Objek kajian baju bekas dibedah dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika untuk analisis pemakaian tanda dan maknanya. Teori semiotika digunakan sebagai analisis penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasi bentuk-bentuk tanda pada baju bekas ke dalam tanda tipe ikon, indeks, dan simbol. Melalui analisis bentuk-bentuk tanda pada baju bekas ditemukan kode-kode kultural dan makna yang dikonstruksi. Hal ini menjadi penting karena dalam era industri kreatif ini, fesyen baju bekas Le Budget telah membentuk subkultur anak muda yang dapat menjadi budaya tanding terhadap budaya besar.

Abstract

The concept of visual literacy reading activities based on technology represents an implementation of the smart education paradigm, which is currently gaining recognition as a potentially transformative approach for engaging the digital native generation. The strategy of combining the power of visual-based storyteling media with virtual reality technology represents an innovation that aims to present a more engaging and enjoyable reading experience for early childhood. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of the Augmented Reality Children's Storybook (ARCS) Timun Mas media on the cognitive and visual responses of early childhood. The study employed a qualitative case study methodology with a purposive sample of children aged 4-6 years at Darrunajwa Kindergarten, Jombang, East Java. The data collection techniques selected were observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The findings of the study indicate that the Timun Mas Storybook media based on Augmented Reality can facilitate the formation of five indicators of children's cognitive-visual abilities, namely visual sensory, visual attention, visual memory, visual spatial relations, and visual sequence memory. This visual response will subsequently contribute to an enhanced visual perception of children towards the forms of visual elements, storylines, and moral messages contained in the ARCS Timun Mas media.

Abstract

The body of women in the modern fashion world is now not only present in the form of a subject, but also becomes an object. The female body has become a very exploitative realm for the modern fashion world. The movement as a tool to dismantle the old interpretation of something that is unfair because of the patriarchal culture, is the feminism movement. Women are still discriminated against and do not have the same rights as men for their private bodies. The awareness that women have today is a false consciousness, which in practice makes women feel ownership of their own bodies, can proudly show off their curves during fashion shows, photoshoots and so on. In fact, there is no awareness at all, what is protected here are not people who are proud to show off their bodies, no. However, what is defended from this research is the bodies of women so that there are no sexual crimes that are accepted by women. The data obtained were then processed with a qualitative descriptive approach with the subject of this study being the female body capital in the world of modern fashion. The theory used is the theory of Marxist feminism. The research uses hermeneutics which will interpret, provide understanding, and translate the capital of the female body in the world of modern fashion. While the validity of the data with data triangulation as a technique of checking the validity of the data that utilizes something other than the data for the purpose of checking or comparing the data.
