Abstract

Lack of internet use as a learning resource for students in the teaching and learning process and the lack of optimal learning outcomes achieved by students in automotive engineering. This research is an ex post facto type, which is to find out how much the contribution of internet usage as a learning resource with the learning outcomes of students of automotive engineering FT-UNP. The population in this study were the 2015 class students who were enrolled actively in the Automotive Engineering Department of UNP-FT, totaling 137 students and the sample of the study was 58 students. From the results of the study, the level of achievement of internet use as a learning resource (X) is 92.97% (very good) and the level of learning achievement (Y) is 83.95% (good). The existence of a positive and significant relationship with the correlation coefficient r count> r table (0.456> 0.254) and the significance test correlation obtained t count> t table (4.322> 2.003) at a significant level of 5%. The strength of the relationship is quite strong. Determination of determinants shows that internet usage provides significant learning outcomes of 20%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pelaksanaan Program Praktik Kerja Industri pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan di SMKN 1 Lembah Melintang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah dengan metode Taro Yamane. Kesiapan pelaksanaan administrasi dan organisasi tinggi yaitu 86,9%. Kesiapan biaya yaitu 88,3%. Kesiapan pengelolaan program yaitu 85,3%. Kesiapan guru pembimbing yaitu 72,9%. Kesiapan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana di industri yaitu 76,4%. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Praktek Kerja Industri di industri yaitu 79,1%. Pelaksanaan monitoring yaitu 88%. Pelaksanaan uji kompetensi dan sertifikasi yaitu 49,9%. Pelaksanaan evaluasi yaitu 66,3%

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai hubungan pelaksanaan pengalaman lapangan industri terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja pada mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Otomotif Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang. Kuesioner disebarkan pada responden dan kemudian diolah secara statistic untuk didapati korelasional antar data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pelaksanaan pengalaman lapangan industri terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja pada mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Otomotif FT-UNP, kemudian juga terungkap bahwa terdapat kontribusi pelaksanaan pengalaman lapangan industri terhadap kesiapan memasuki dunia kerja mahasiswa jurusan teknik otomotif ft-unp sebesar 68,6 %.

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) aims to be able to prepare students who are creative, master science and technology, and have competencies in accordance with the demands of the world of work. SMK students are designed to have high psychomotor abilities in accordance with the demands of the world of work. This paper aims to describe the application of the demonstration method in improving the psychomotor abilities of vocational school students in community service activities. This method is applied in training activities to increase vocational competency in diesel engine technology. With stages students are guided to identify diesel engine components and parts, start a diesel engine, identify diesel motor support systems and carry out diesel motor maintenance. The results of observations show that the direct demonstration method can improve students psychomotor abilities in the field ofdiesel engine technology. The demonstration method that has been applied is able to improve students psychomotorskills. At the first meeting the students scores were still low, but after guidance and demonstration was carried out, in the second and third observations the students had increased, students were more confident in doing maintenance work on a 4 stroke 1 cylinder diesel engine.
