Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and to analyze how the contribution of Islamic teachings on women's political rights. Contributions of Islam on women's political rights has been long existed, Islam never restricts women’s creativity in any field as long as it does not violate the nature as a woman. If she has married, responsibilities as a wife and mother of her children should not be forgotten. In Islam, either man or woman has the right to organize, fight and defend, and the right to participate in the diplomatic and political agreements. The constraints against women is the lack of support from the women themselves for the sake of fulfilling a quota of 30% which is until this time it has not happened yet. Besides, the lack of knowledge for their representation as women in the political domain which has the real influence to the prosperous society The efforts being made should have been done well, the government should always pay attention to the representation of women in many ways. In the political domain, political parties should be one of the institutions which empower women who has a capability in political struggle.Keywords: Contributions Teaching of Islam, Women's Political Rights.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to enhance community political participation in the village head elections in Separi Besar Village, Tenggarong Seberang Subdistrict, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, which has historically shown low participation rates. The research method used is action research with a participatory approach, involving collaboration between researchers, community leaders, and political experts. The research comprises three stages: preliminary study preparation, implementation of political socialization and outreach programs, and evaluation and reflection. The results of the research indicate that the community service program successfully increased political participation among villagers significantly. Before the intervention, only 30% of villagers actively participated in the village head elections; however, after the program was implemented, participation rose to 65%. The level of understanding among villagers regarding the importance of political participation and the election process also increased from 40% to 80%. Interviews and observations showed an increase in villagers' trust in the local political system and their involvement in other village activities. The recommendation from this research is to expand political education programs to other villages facing similar issues. These programs should include intensive socialization, distribution of educational materials, and election simulations to provide practical experience for villagers. These measures are expected to strengthen local democracy and enhance the overall welfare of village communities.

Abstract

Lembaga Pendamping Proses Produk Halal (LP3H) memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan jumlah produk bersertifikat halal di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kendala yang dihadapi oleh LP3H UINSI Samarinda dalam meningkatkan kinerja pendamping sertifikasi halal melalui jalur self declare serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi kurangnya dukungan pemerintah setempat, keterbatasan waktu pendamping yang mayoritas memiliki pekerjaan tetap, rendahnya literasi digital pelaku usaha, serta ketidaksesuaian produk dengan ketentuan self declare. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar perbaikan dalam optimalisasi peran LP3H dalam peningkatan sertifikasi halal di Samarinda. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa masih kurang optimalnya dukungan pemerintah daerah dalam fasilitasi sertifikasi halal, selain itu belum optimalnya peran pendamping dalam memenuhi kouta sertifikasi halal. Masih banyak pelaku usaha yang belum menguasai digitalisasi, dan masih terdapat produk yang belum sesuai ketentuan Sistem Jaminan Produk Halal.
