Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V dalam Pembelajaran Tematik di MI Semesta Mojokerto Rahaju, Sumartini

Abstract

This article aims to find out how to increase the learning motivation of class V students in thematic learning at MI Semesta Mojokerto. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection in this research used observation instruments, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation and experimental methods. The subjects of this research were class V students, teachers (class V homeroom teachers) and school principals. This research was carried out at MI Semesta Mojokerto which is located in Kedungmaling Village, Sooko District, Mojokerto Regency. Problem Based Learning is a learning model which involves students trying to solve problems by going through several scientific stages. The learning steps include; a) presenting problems, b) organizing groups, c) searching for information, d) group discussions, e) preparing solutions, f) presenting solutions, g) reflection, h) improving critical and creative thinking skills. After implementing Problem Based Learning, changes in class student behavior at MI Semesta were visible during question-and-answer activities. Students did not hesitate when answering teacher questions, in discussion activities and making presentations, students were able to provide input, respond, be critical and the learning atmosphere becomes more enjoyable. The research results show that before implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model, the pre-test results for class V students averaged 43.2‰, whereas after implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model, learning motivation increased to an average of 84‰.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris peserta didik dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) peserta didik kelas V. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif analitis. Peklaksanaan penelitian di Kelas V MI Al-Abror yang kemampuan peserta didiknya dalam pemahaman materi mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris cukup rendah. Model pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar, dan Model analisis datanya adalah deskriptif untuk data kuantitatif. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan dua siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu; Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan, Refleksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dapat dijabarkan sebagai berikut: untuk data awal rata-rata 59,50, data siklus I terjadi peningkatan yaitu 68,00, dan rata-rata pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 76,50. Ketuntasan belajar pada data awal 23,33 %, Ketuntasan belajar pada siklus I adalah 66,67%, dan ketuntasan belajar pada silus II mencapai 100%. Jadi, pelaksanaan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Learning tipe STAD pada peserta didik kelas V MI Al Abror semester 1 tahun pelajaran 2023/2024, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris. Abstract The aim of this research is to improve students' English learning outcomes by implementing the STAD (Student Team Achievement Divisions) Cooperative Learning Model for class V students. This research is a descriptive analytical research type. The research was carried out in Class V MI Al-Abror where the students' ability to understand English subject material was quite low. The data collection model used is a learning outcomes test, and the data analysis model is descriptive for quantitative data. The research procedure used is classroom action research using two cycles where each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely; Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. The results obtained from this research can be described as follows: for initial data the average was 59.50, for cycle I data there was an increase of 68.00, and the average in cycle II increased to 76.50. Learning completeness in the initial data was 23.33%, learning completeness in cycle I was 66.67%, and learning completeness in cycle II reached 100%. So, implementing English language learning by implementing the STAD type Cooperative Learning Model for students in class V MI Al Abror semester 1 of the 2023/2024 academic year, can improve English learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi implementasi Model Pembelajaran Reflektif-Inquiry dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi dan berpikir reflektif siswa kelas 5 SDN Sidoarjo. Model pembelajaran ini menggabungkan pendekatan reflektif yang mendorong siswa untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman mereka secara kritis dengan metode inquiry yang menstimulasi eksplorasi dan analisis mandiri terhadap konsep akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur, yang mencakup analisis berbagai penelitian terdahulu terkait efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis refleksi dan inquiry dalam pendidikan dasar. Data diperoleh melalui peninjauan jurnal akademik, buku referensi, dan laporan penelitian yang membahas implementasi model pembelajaran reflektif-inquiry. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola implementasi serta dampak model ini terhadap keterampilan literasi dan berpikir reflektif siswa. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi strategi reflektif-inquiry dalam pembelajaran berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca kritis, pemecahan masalah, serta kemampuan berpikir mandiri siswa sekolah dasar. Temuan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis refleksi dan inquiry sebagai pendekatan yang inovatif dalam pendidikan dasar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya adaptasi kurikulum yang lebih menekankan pada eksplorasi mandiri dan refleksi sistematis guna meningkatkan kualitas literasi serta kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa.
