Abstract

Astra Manufacturing Polytechnic is educational institution under the auspices of PT Astra International (Astra Group) which has total of approximately 700 students. Industrial culture is adopted by applying discipline in the form of attendance. Students who do not arrive on time will be charged Minus Hours. Students do attendance with attendance cards and recapitulated by each study program admin and takes 700 minutes (all study programs) every week to produce minus hours as calculation of student errors. Many students are cheating in the attendance process. Because attendance cards can be deposited to other students. To overcome this, the attendance method was replaced by initially using machine and attendance card with finger scanner and integrated finger scanner integrase application with sql server database. So hopefully cheating and recapitulation time can be eliminated. In the implementation of this research extreme programming is used as software development methodology. After implementation of the application is able to eliminate 700 minutes and eliminate the use of attendance cards.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is one of the companies engaged in the production of motorcycle spare parts. In carrying out its operational activities, PT. XYZ has a procurement process. Generally in applying of good procurement, employees must submit a document submission of goods in the printed form and must meet their supervisor directly to ask for approval in a signature. This condition requires quite a long time until the submission document reaches the Director because they have to wait for the signature of each related section. That is quite an obstacle for the employee who submits because the longer the approval process, the longer the procurement process. To overcome this obstacle, a good procurement information system web based was built using phased development methodology. The information system uses SQL Server as database and ASP.Net as programming language. Good procurement information system web-based can accelerate the procurement process.

Abstract

Politeknik Astra menerapkan tes seleksi masuk dimana salah satu tahapan utamanya adalah Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA). TPA terdiri dari tujuh subtes. Panitia seleksi berkeinginan untuk melakukan perubahan menjadi efektif dan efisien dengan mengurangi jumlah subtes berdasarkan subtes yang paling berpengaruh. Untuk mengetahui subtes yang paling berpengaruh terhadap performa mahasiswa, digunakanlah Machine Learning . Pendekatan dilakukan dengan algoritma klasifikasi dan regresi. Hasil dari klasifikasi, algoritma Random Forest memberikan hasil terbaik. Selanjutnya untuk melihat fitur yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kelulusan seleksi masuk, dilakukan seleksi fitur dengan metode filter dan impurity-based . Tiga fitur terbaik diperoleh dari Prodi MI dan Non-MI. Selanjutnya dilakukan regresi dengan dua algoritma, yaitu Support Vector Regression (SVR) dan Neural Network Regression dengan konfigurasi 3, 5, dan model 7 fitur. Hasil terbaik konsisten dengan dua model data yaitu algoritma SVR dengan mean absolute error untuk Prodi MI 0.17 dan Non-MI 0.19. Hasilnya, model data dengan 3 fitur memiliki hasil terbaik untuk Prodi MI, artinya TPA dapat disederhanakan dengan tiga fitur, sedangkan pada Prodi Non MI, hasil terbaik pada tujuh fitur.
