Abstract

Mathematical representation ability is a useful ability for students to develop and optimize their mathematical abilities. The real situation shows that the importance of the ability of mathematical representation has not been matched by student achievement. This condition can be solved by applying problem based learning model to learning in a context that is familiar to students such as scouts. The aim of this research is to explain the ability of students? mathematical representation through the Problem Based Learning model with scouts context on circle material at SMPN 8 Banda Aceh. This research used qualitative approach with a type of research is descriptive. Data obtained through tests of student? mathematical representation abilities and interviews. The ability of students? mathematical representations was analyzed by utilizing the data obtained in student learning in groups through PBL model and data of result test after the application of PBL model. The achievement of this research is the ability of students? mathematical representation during learning with PBL model in groups is accordance with the ability of students? mathematical representation after applying the PBL model. The mathematical representation ability of high ability students is able to complete all of the indicators of the mathematical representation ability, students who are in the medium ability only complete indicators of visual and symbolic representation, and low ability students only able to complete indicator of visual representation, although not perfectly.

Abstract

A prefix is a word or letter. And also, a prefix is a letter or a group of letters added to the beginning of a word to make a new word. Every prefix has its own meaning. An English word can consist of three parts: the root, a prefix, and a suffix. A suffix is a word element that is placed after the root. The suffixes changes the word’s meaning as well as its function (use). Vocabulary is one element for communicating or sharing idea. A vocabulary is important, it is not only to read or write. The students who have adequate vocabulary will easy to understand and support the carrier in the future. Moreover, the students who have good skill absolutely fast to adapt with the international global era situation.

Abstract

Classroom management in the teaching and learning process is very important, especially at this time. To ensure that learning goes well, the teacher should know how to manage the classroom properly and correctly. This journal discusses about how to manage classes, the objectives of class managements, the principles of classroom management, the classroom management strategies during covid 19 and strategies for managing English classes. The purposes of classroom management are to build student’ enthusiasm and creativity, build conducive situations and condition, provide and manage facilities, foster and guide students. The principle of classroom management is influenced by internal and external factors of students, emotions, thoughts, and behavior. Moreover, the flexibility, warmth, interest, creativity and discipline of teachers.Classroom management strategies during the covid 19 pandemic include habituation from offline learning to online classes, short, concise and clear using Pdf or video tutorials, class discussions, groups and collaborationbetween teachers and parents. English classroom management strategy is to use the edutainment learning method and the application of quizziz, kahoot,dou lingo and word puzzle.Keyword: classroom management, online learning, english learning

Abstract

Research aimed was to determine whether the implementation of online buying and selling transactions implemented by Sangatta online couriers is in accordance with Islamic perspectives. Research method is a qualitative approach by a descriptive case study. Case studies are qualitative research that seeks to find meaning, investigate processes and gain insight and deep understanding of individuals, groups or situations. Data collection was conducted by interviewing the members of Sangatta online couriers as informants in this research. In addition, interviews were also conducted by several consumers. The research results are online buying and selling based on an Islamic perspective conducted by Sangatta online couriers on customers does not influence several online courier members to do so. However, Sangatta online couriers have implemented online buying and selling transactions in accordance by the Islamic law and produced results in the form of consumer satisfaction, so that consumers who have transacted through online couriers feel comfortable, satisfied and loyalty arises in transactions.

Abstract

Griya Quran Darul Mahabah city of Pangkal Pinang is one of the Quranic education programs for the younger generation with the aim of providing understanding and deepening the knowledge of the Quran. Training is an activity used in institutions to acquire and increase teaching competence. The aim of the research is to find out and analyze the effect of the level of education and training of teachers on work productivity at the Griya Quran Darul Mahabah Islamic Boarding School in Pangkal Pinang City. The research method used is a qualitative method. The data analysis technique that will be used in this research is obtained from the results of interviews, field notes, and documentation, by organizing data into categories, describing them into units, synthesizing, compiling into patterns choosing which ones are important and which ones will be learn, and make conclusions so that it is easily understood by oneself and others. The results obtained from this research show that there is a positive
