Abstract

Keadaan masyarakat di Kelurahan Rappokalling Makassar ditemukan kondisi perekonomian mayoritas adalah buruh harian, kuli bangunan dan bahkan ada yang bekerja sebagai pengumpul sampah. Pendapatan mereka tidaklah mencukupi. Hal inilah yang banyak mempengaruhi pola pemikiran anak dan angka putus sekolah di Rappokalling. Banyak masyarakat putus harapan hingga hadirnya Sikola Mangkasara, yang didirikan sejak 1 Januari 2008. Banyak program yang dicanangkan oleh lembaga tersebut, seperti salah satunya adalah kelas motivasi yang selalu rutin di laksanakan tiap bulannya, dalam hal ini pembelajaran yang diberikan tidak lain adalah memotivasi anak-anak dengan memberikan kalimat afirmasi, renungan tentang kehidupan,dan mengajarkan mereka menghargai dan bersyukur atas apa yang mereka miliki. Hal tersebut mendorong peneliti untuk mengetahui dan memahami secara mendalam bagaimana proses belajar anak, melahirkan dan membentuk karakter melalui afirmasi positif, ataupun pelatihan lainnya yang selalu diberikan oleh pembina Sikola Mangkasara. Dari hasil penelitian tentang Strategi Komunikasi Dalam Penguatan Afirmasi Positif Untuk Membangkitka Kesadaran Anak-Anak Sikola Mangkasara, ditemukan bahwa Strategi komunikasi penguatan afirmasi positif  yang digunakan oleh Sikola Mangkasara untuk membangkitkan kesadaran anak-anak adalah mengenal khlayak,menyusun pesan,menetapkan metode, dan pemilihan media komunikasi. Hal yang mempengaruhi dalam penguatan afirmasi positif untuk membangkitkan kesadaran anak-anak di Sikola Mangkasara ada dua yaitu faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat, dari segi faktor pendukung yaitu tidak dipungut biaya, diberikan bantuan beasiswa tiap bulannya,adanya aturan yang harus mereka patuhi sehingga mendorong mereka berhasil,sebagaian besar pendidik dari alumni Sikola Mangkasara,adanya pelatihan pembentukan karakter positif. Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor penghambatnya yaitu latar belakang ekonomi keluarga, karakteristik  peserta didik yang berbeda-beda,tingkat kemalasan,kondisi lingkungan mereka yang kurang mendukung. The condition of the people in Rappokalling Village, Makassar, found that the majority of the economic conditions are daily laborers, construction workers and some even work as garbage collectors. This encourages researchers to know and understand in depth how the child's learning process, giving birth and shaping character through positive affirmations, or other training that is always provided by the Sikola Mangkasara coach. From the results of research on Communication Strategies in Strengthening Positive Affirmations to Raise the Awareness of Sikola Mangkasara Children, it was found that the communication strategies for strengthening positive affirmations used by Sikola Mangkasara to raise children's awareness were recognizing khlayak, composing messages, establishing methods, and selecting media. communication. There are two things that influence the strengthening of positive affirmations to raise awareness of children in Sikola Mangkasara, namely two supporting factors and inhibiting factors, in terms of supporting factors, namely free of charge, given monthly scholarship assistance, there are rules that they must obey to encourage them to succeed , most of the educators are from Sikola Mangkasara alumni, there is training on positive character building. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the economic background of the family, the different characteristics of students, the level of laziness, and their unsupportive environmental conditions.

Abstract

Technology causes many changes both in society and in the family. The most common change in families is the change in communication behavior. Due to the busyness of each family, they rely on family chat applications to provide information between them. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out 1) How does the family communicate in the family group when chatting? 2) Is there an ethical impact felt by the family by chatting through the application?This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and the theory used is phenomenological theory. The results of this study are 1. Chats conducted by families through the application do not experience obstacles in conveying messages. In general, they feel happy because the purpose of their message can be conveyed even without having to meet face to face. 2.Ethics in the family unwittingly become eroded due to the lack of face-to-face communication. The humanity of the family slowly diminishes due to the lack of nonverbal communication such as gaze, caress, touch, hug, or kiss between parents and children.

Abstract

Most effective disaster risk communication practices are based on the equitable distribution of crisis messages to the target population. Priority is given, for example, to conveying evacuation messages to as many people as possible using language and media appropriate to that audience. Cognitive dissonance (CD) studies, however, show that well-intentioned disaster management messages can not only generate unintended public reactions, but can also strengthen public sentiment to reject or reject the essages themselves. A review of the literature focused on the effects of gnitive dissonance on communication, disaster management will yield two tcomes. First, a re-search will show that a basic understanding of CD can p disaster communicators create more effective messages and, second, it introduce an early cognitive dissonance index (CDI) that can be easily orporated into existing crisis communication models. Dari hasil penelitian tentang Strategi Komunikasi Dalam Penguatan Afirmasi Positif Untuk Membangkitka Kesadaran Anak-Anak Sikola Mangkasara, ditemukan bahwa Strategi komunikasi penguatan afirmasi positif  yang digunakan oleh Sikola Mangkasara untuk membangkitkan kesadaran anak-anak adalah mengenal khlayak,menyusun pesan,menetapkan metode, dan pemilihan media komunikasi.
