Abstract

A sedentary lifestyle is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, especially in women who are overweight. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) has been known as an effective exercise method in improving cardiometabolic health. This study aims to analyze the effect of HIIT on total cholesterol levels in overweight women with a sedentary lifestyle. The research method used an experimental design with two groups, namely the treatment group that underwent a HIIT program for several weeks and the control group that did not undergo exercise. The results showed that there was a significant difference in changes in total cholesterol levels between the treatment group and the control group, where the group that did HIIT experienced a greater decrease in cholesterol levels. These findings support that HIIT has the potential to be an effective intervention to lower total cholesterol levels in populations at risk of cardiovascular disorders. HIIT can be a practical and efficient alternative for individuals with limited time to manage their heart and metabolic health.

Abstract

Study purpose. Athletica Pro is an innovative portable device designed to provide a comprehensive solution for health monitoring during sports activities. Materials and methods. This device integrates advanced electronic components, including the Arduino Nano, MAX30102 sensor, OLED SSD1306 display, RTC DS3231 module, and LiPo battery, ensuring accurate and reliable monitoring of heart rate, oxygen saturation, and timer functions. Result. The results of the effectiveness test show that Athletica Pro delivers highly precise data under various sports conditions, making it an essential tool for athletes and coaches who require real-time and dependable health monitoring. With cutting-edge technology and an efficient design, this device not only aids in maintaining athletes' health but also can help improve athlete performance through better heart rate monitoring Conclusion. These findings suggest Athletica Pro is a viable alternative to commercial health monitors for athletes.

Abstract

Olahraga futsal memiliki tingkat cedera yang tinggi, terutama pada pemain muda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanasan neuromuskular yang mencakup pemanasan dan peregangan jika dilakukan bersama dengan berbagai latihan penguatan dapat mengurangi risiko cedera, salah satu contohnya adalah Pemanasan FIVE+. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pemain dan praktisi futsal berdasarkan analisis situasi. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan melalui pendekatan pemahaman masalah mitra, yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat lokal dalam menemukan, menganalisis, dan menyelesaikan masalah. Tes awal dilakukan sebagai langkah pertama dalam menjalankan program. Setelah itu, peserta diajarkan tentang materi melalui seminar dan aktualisasi teori. Terakhir, tes akhir digunakan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat pemahaman peserta tentang materi. Hasil menunjukan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan program pemansan FIVE+ dalam mencegah cedera olahraga. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penerapan program dalam periode latihan serta nilai dari kebermanfaatan program. Dengan demikian, program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan aspek pengetahuan tetapi juga membentuk fondasi yang kuat untuk selalu memperhatikan komponen pemanasan selalu penting untuk dilakukan dalam latihan khususnya program FIVE+ yang telah disebar dan dipraktikan dalam kegiatan. Selanjunya, kegiatan aktualisasi akan terus diupayakan berkelanjutan dengan tema lain guna memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi praktisi maupun atlet di masa mendatang.
