Abstract

The hotel is a building that provides lodging services, restaurants, and other services that provide commercial for visitors. The use of hotel services that are still manual will be handled on the effectiveness of excellent service in hotel management. Computer technology support can be a solution in optimizing administrative activities, improving information, and making decisions. Hotel XYZ as one that still uses a manual transaction system. Then it is necessary to integrate data for each transaction using an interconnected database. Steps in the development of information systems need to be considered in improving the services of each hotel. The technique by collecting data to produce literature studies is an appropriate step to analyze the old system while developing the expected system. The results will be made on the design of the system for the database so that they are interconnected and the interface is easily understood by the user so that it facilitates the process of system implementation. After doing research, the black box test with a value of 100% with the results as expected is done. Comparison of the old system can be made by Microsoft Excel with interconnected databases presenting reports in printed form. It can meet the level of user satisfaction with a value of 95.3% of the results of the questionnaire from the five respondents involved.

Abstract

Study purpose. Athletica Pro is an innovative portable device designed to provide a comprehensive solution for health monitoring during sports activities. Materials and methods. This device integrates advanced electronic components, including the Arduino Nano, MAX30102 sensor, OLED SSD1306 display, RTC DS3231 module, and LiPo battery, ensuring accurate and reliable monitoring of heart rate, oxygen saturation, and timer functions. Result. The results of the effectiveness test show that Athletica Pro delivers highly precise data under various sports conditions, making it an essential tool for athletes and coaches who require real-time and dependable health monitoring. With cutting-edge technology and an efficient design, this device not only aids in maintaining athletes' health but also can help improve athlete performance through better heart rate monitoring Conclusion. These findings suggest Athletica Pro is a viable alternative to commercial health monitors for athletes.

Abstract

Data security is becoming increasingly crucial in information system management, especially in academic environments that handle sensitive information. The reliance on digital systems demands the protection of data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. High-level data security is also required in the Decision Support System (DSS) application for selecting Teaching Assistants at Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. The DSS helps determine candidates based on GPA, experience, and skills. However, this system is vulnerable to threats such as unauthorized data modifications, access abuse, SQL Injection, and cyber-attacks that can impact decision-making. Stored Programs in databases provide an effective solution to enhance data security. This research aims to design Stored Programs as a security strategy for data input into database tables. The types of Stored Programs designed in this study include Stored Procedures, Functions, and control programs. The design methodology for the Stored Programs follows the waterfall method. The test results indicate that the Stored Programs function as expected and execute in a very short time. The execution of Stored Programs takes only 0.0059 seconds.
