Abstract

Dyslipidemia is a disorder of lipid metabolism that causes narrowing of blood vessels. Risk factors for coronary heart disease are characterized by an increase in cholesterol. Thus, prevention needs to be done by changing a balanced diet that is eating one fruit and vegetable, one with beet root that has a high antioxidant content. The purpose of this study was to examine the activity of beet root extract on rat cholesterol levels. This research method is experimental with post test design only randomized control group design. Treatment at a dose of 100 mg / kg, 200 mg / kg combined with 0.18 mg / kg simvastatin. The sample in this study was Wistar strain male rats aged 2-3 months with a weight of 100-200 grams, the technique of random sampling using the formula Federer as many as 5 animals / group and divided into 7 treatment groups. Beet root extract and atherogenic feed were given for 35 days. Cholesterol levels were examined by the CHOD-PAP (Cholesterol Oxidase-Peroxidase Aminoantipyrine Phenol) method using a clinicon 4010 photometer. Data were analyzed using the Kruskall Wallis and Mann Whitney tests. The effect of beet root extract activity on reducing cholesterol levels at a single dose of 100 mg/kg BW of 17.40% (p-value = 0.673), single dose 200 mg / kg BW of 21.59% (p-value = 0.009), combination dose of 100 mg / kgbb of 7.10% (p value = 0.009), a combined dose of 200 mg / kgbb of 18.65% (p value = 0.347). Beet root extract is effective in reducing rat cholesterol at a dose of 200 mg/kg BW.

Abstract

Atherosclerosis is characterized by the accumulation of fat in the arteries so it forms plaque that causes thickening of the intima and blockage of the arteries. Beet roots are rich of phytochemical compounds that have antioxidant activity. Design of research is a laboratory experimental study with a Post Test Only Randomized Control Group Design. The population of this study was male Wistar rats with age 2-3 months and body weight 125-200 grams. The study sample was randomly selected and consists of 7 groups and 5 rats for each group. The average number of foam cells in the baseline group is 17.6; negative control group is 65.8; positive control is 54.6; group I is 38.8; group II is 27.4; group III is 46.4; and group IV is 42.4. The average thickness of the aortic intima tunica in the baseline group is 136.8 µ; negative control group is 251.4 µ; positive control is 211.8 µ; group I is 202.8 µ; group II is 184 µ; group III is 242.8 µ; and group IV is 210.6 µ. Statistical test results showed that there were significant differences in supplementation of beet root extracts against aortic thickness and the number of foam cells in rats fed atherogenic diets.

Abstract

Antrian merupakan suatu kegiatan dimana terdapat sekelompok orang yang memiliki tujuan yaitu ingin mendapatkan suatu pelayanan dengan menunggu atau mengantri dan memiliki urutan tertentu sebelum mendapatkan suatu pelayanan. Pelayanan yang diberikan harus sesuai dengan undang-undang pelayanan publik, Masyarakat lebih banyak memilih fasilitas kesehatan pertama yaitu puskesmas, maka penting nya memberikan pelayanan yang baik di puskesmas tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses sistem pelayanan jasa di Puskesmas Gunung Pati serta mengetahui standar dan kualitas pelayanan Puskesmas Gunung Pati agar dapat memahami bagaimana penggunaan teori antrian pada puskesmas Gunung Pati serta mengetahui dan mengerti tentang efektivitas penggunaan teori antrian pada kualitas pelayanan Puskesmas Gunung Pati. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan wawancara di Puskesmas Gunung Pati. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah system antrian di Puskesmas Gunung Pati Kota Semarang menggunakan analisis model antrian Multi Channel dan Single Phase dengan jumlah pelayanan tiga (3) loket pendaftaran yaitu meliputi biaya pelayanan (Cs), biaya waktu menunggu (Cs), biaya total pelayanan antrian (Tc).

Abstract

The Integrated Health Service Post (Posyandu) is a form of Community-Based Health Effort (UKBM) that is managed by, from, for, and with the community. Its primary aim is to empower the community and facilitate access to basic health services. This study aims to identify the completeness of available health services and to assess the level of community satisfaction with the services provided at Posyandu Melati Asri. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and questionnaires filled out by 14 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model approach. The survey results indicate that Posyandu Melati Asri is divided into two units Melati Asri 1 and Melati Asri 2 due to the extensive coverage area of the kelurahan. The services offered include child weighing, health counseling, nutritional status monitoring, vector control activities, diarrhea prevention, and immunizations. Community satisfaction data show that 43% of respondents rated the services as “good,” while 57% rated them as “fair.” In conclusion, the majority of the respondents considered the healthcare services at Posyandu Melati Asri 1 to be in the “fair” category.

Abstract

Nutritional status is a key indicator in assessing individual health that can be determined through anthropometric measurements, particularly height and weight. This study uses a design approach that aims to design and implement a wireless system for measuring nutritional status based on Body Mass Index (BMI) using a TOF400C sensor and a Load Cell controlled by an ESP32 microcontroller. The TOF400C sensor measures height based on the Time-of-Flight principle of infrared light, while the Load Cell measures weight with the HX711 module. Data from both sensors is processed by the ESP32 to calculate BMI and categorize nutritional status according to WHO standards. Test results on 10 adult subjects showed an accuracy of 99.6% for the height measuring device and 98.3% for the weight measuring device compared to standard devices, as well as real-time results displayed on OLED and TFT screens. This system is expected to be a practical and efficient solution for digital nutritional status monitoring.
