Abstract

Data security on cellular networks is needed to maintain privacy and avoid illegal actions, because the process of communication and sending data remotely using cellular networks, especially GSM and GPRS are still widely used than conventional methods. One of the potential for sniffing data security holes can occur in the air interface, it is signalling system when transmitting data between user devices or Mobile Station (MS) and Base Transceiver Station (BTS). Therefore, to find out the quality of data security on GSM and GPRS cellular networks, a penetration testing method with RTL-SDR device are tested. The results obtained are the cellular network security system used is still secure based on data transmission patterns using timeslot, Temporary Mobile Subscriber Identity (TMSI), and changes in GSM Frame Number on GSM. Then, network security on GPRS is also still safe using logic channels, timeslot, and different security algorithm from GSM.

Abstract

Abstract

It is undeniable that wireless communication technology is developing very rapidly, especially in an emergency. For example in the laboratory. The laboratory is a place to carry out practical or research activities that are supported by complete laboratory equipment and infrastructure. Therefore, it is not impossible that the complete laboratory equipment becomes an excuse for people with the aim of committing crimes. The most frequent crime in the laboratory is theft, the thieves usually take advantage of the moment when the laboratory personnel are not in the room and they can take valuables in the room without being noticed by the officers freely. Therefore our goal in this research is to improve security for laboratories with wireless communication technology methods. This technology uses a communication system named Lora equipped with ALOHA protocol based on Android to be able to monitor remotely. The test was carried out at a height of 80 cm and this study resulted in the largest RSSI value of -130 dB at a maximum distance of 600 m with a delay of 29 seconds. Packet loss is affected by distance, so packet loss or data loss will be higher at longer distances.

Abstract

Wireless communication is an important requirement in various applications, especially in WiFi networks. The efficiency of an antenna is a crucial aspect in designing wireless communication system and plays a significant role in ensuring strong and reliable signal transmission. This research belongs to comparison of the result of optimizing the efficiency of microstrip circular patch antennas for 5GHz WiFi frequencies using the optimizer in CST, memetic algorithm and rectangular slot. From the simulation result, the efficiency values of the microstrip circular patch antennas using different optimization methods are as follows, microstrip circular patch antenna using the optimizer in CST 63,03%, microstrip circular patch antenna using the memetic algorithm 57,23%, and microstrip circular patch with a rectangular slot 56,20%. Additionally, the total efficiency simulation result show that the total efficiency value of the microstrip circular patch antenna using optimizer at cst is 62.8%, the microstrip circular patch uses the memetic algorithm 54.68%, ang the microstrip circular patch slot rectangular antenna is 56.20%.

Abstract

Kajian ini tentang sistem cerdas berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas budidaya jamur tiram melalui pengawasan suhu dan kelembaban. Melalui perangkat ini, upaya pengendalian lingkungan pertumbuhan jamur tiram dapat dioptimalkan dengan mengintegrasikan sensor suhu dan kelembapan, mikrokontroler, dan aplikasi Blynk. Perangkat mampu menjaga kelembaban dalam kisaran yang diinginkan, yaitu antara 70% hingga 90% selama percobaan selama 10 hari. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan peningkatan hasil panen jamur tiram. Notifikasi secara real-time pada LCD dan aplikasi Blynk memastikan kondisi lingkungan yang tepat untuk pertumbuhan jamur tiram secara optimal. Teknologi IoT terbukti sebagai solusi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas budidaya jamur tiram.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMeningkatnya jumlah kendaraan roda empat di Indonesia, terutama di kota-kota besar, menimbulkan permasalahan dalam pengelolaan parkir seperti risiko kehilangan tiket kertas, kurangnya informasi real-time, dan pengelolaan area parkir yang tidak optimal. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem smart parking berbasis Internet of Things dengan mengintegrasikan parking lock menggunakan QR Code dan penggunaan sensor IR obstacle untuk mendeteksi ketersediaan slot parkir. Berdasarkan Pengujian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil penggunaan sensor IR obstacle untuk deteksi slot parkir dengan akurasi 100%. Hasil pengujian kecepatan scan QR Code yaitu 1,44 detik hingga 5,03 detik, dan total rata-rata sebesar 2,88 detik. Total akurasi pada pengujian keakuratan data yang dipindai QR Code adalah 100%. Integrasi parking lock memastikan pengguna parkir sesuai slot yang dipesan dengan akurasi 100%.Kata kunci: Smart Parking, Parking Lock, Internet of Things, QR Code ABSTRACTThe increasing number of cars in Indonesia, particularly in big cities, has led to issues in parking management such as the risk of losing paper tickets, lack of realtime information, and innefficient management of parking areas. This research aims to develop an IoT-driven smart parking system by incorporating a QR codeenabled parking lock and utilizing IR obstacle sensors to accurately detect parking slot availability. The experimental results showed 100% accuracy in using IR obstacle sensors for parking space detection.The QR code scanning speed test results ranged from .44 seconds to 5.03 seconds, with an average of 2.88 seconds. The aaccuracy of QR code reading on scanned data was 100%. Parking lock integration ensures that users park in the designated space with 100% accuracy.Keywords: Smart Parking, Parking Lock, Internet of Things, QR Code

Abstract

Cultivating bean sprouts requires regular care for the beans. The required care includes regular watering and maintaining temperature conditions between 23°C to 28°C with a humidity level of 85% to 90%. In this research, an intelligent sprout cultivation system based on LoRa and IoT has been proposed. This system uses a DHT22 sensor to read the temperature and humidity of the air around the bean sprouts. It sends the data to the gateway using LoRa. The gateway forwards the temperature and humidity data to the Thingspeak server using the MQTT protocol. LoRa allows temperature and humidity monitoring to be carried out via the LoRa local network without an internet connection. The proposed system can also water the bean sprouts automatically if the humidity is < 80% or the last watering time has been ≥ 3 hours. Based on the tests carried out, it can be concluded that the proposed system can work well. During the tests, the DHT22 sensor could respond to changes in temperature and humidity. Sending sensor data to the Thingspeak server could work well. Meanwhile, sensor nodes and gateways could communicate up to a distance of 600 meters using LoRa.

Abstract

The cultivation of various freshwater fish species, such as catfish, tilapia, carp, and sepat, can be effectively managed through the budikdamber technique, where fish and vegetables are grown together in a single container. This research introduces an alternative method designed to control water temperature, automate fish feeding, and cover the container automatically when it rains. By integrating monitoring and control devices, budikdamber owners can manage automated feeding, monitor water temperature, measure pH levels, control water depth, and automatically activate rain covers. This smart device is expected to enhance budikdamber management efficiency, contributing to the improved welfare of the fish and overall system sustainability.

Abstract

Problems such as fatigue, decreased performance, and high stress levels often arise as a result of workload imbalance, which can affect the operational efficiency of the company. Accurate workload analysis is essential to overcome this problem. This study aims to analyze the workload in the engineering department of PT Semen Indonesia using the Full Time Equivalent (FTE) method to evaluate workforce needs and distribute workload proportionally. Based on the results of the FTE calculation, the Integration Bureau Staff with 11 employees obtained a total FTE value of 12.7 ≈ 13, the Process Bureau Staff with 3 employees obtained a total FTE value of 4.7 ≈ 5, the Mechanical Bureau Staff with 4 employees obtained a total FTE value of 6.48 ≈ 6, the Civil Bureau Staff with 5 employees obtained a total FTE value of 6.48 ≈ 6, the Elins Bureau Staff with 3 employees obtained a total FTE value of 3.43 ≈ 3.

Abstract

Handwritten numeral recognition is an important challenge in image processing, with wide applications in areas such as document processing and data automation. This research aims to optimize the performance of Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model in classifying handwritten numerals on MNIST dataset. In this research, experiments were conducted with variations in the number of CNN layers to evaluate their effect on model accuracy. The results show that the model with 4 convolutional layers achieves the highest accuracy of 92.41%, which signifies a significant improvement in the model's ability to extract important features from the image compared to the model with fewer layers. This research also applied the best model to a website that allows users to recognize handwritten numerals in real-time. This provides practical benefits in the development of automatic character recognition systems and shows how this technology can be applied directly in everyday life.
