Abstract

Surabaya merupakan ibu kota provinsi Jawa Timur dan merupakan salah satu kota terbesar yang ada di Indonesia. Banyak perusahaan yang berdiri di Surabaya yang bergerak di bidang industri jasa maupun manufaktur. Sektor pariwisata memiliki pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Surabaya. Dengan semakin bertumbuhnya perekonomian dan pariwisata di Surabaya, saat ini mulai banyak masyarakat Surabaya yang mencoba berwirausaha dalam meningkatkan perekonomian melalui produk olahan makanan dan kerajinan tangan.Wiyung merupakan kecamatan yang ada di Kota Surabaya yang terletak di Surabaya bagian barat. Banyak masyarakat Wiyung yang berwirausaha dengan menjual produk olahan makanan dan kerajinan tangan. Di masa pandemi Covid-19 sekarang ini UMKM di Kecamatan Wiyung mengalami guncangan dan mengalami penurunan omzet. Hal ini terjadi lantaran menurunnya jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Surabaya dan penjualan produk yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Wiyung masih dilakukan secara konvensional. Perlu dilakukan pemasaran produk UMKM melalui internet dengan pendampingan digitalisasi marketing. Tim pengabdian memfokuskan penyelesaian masalah pada aspek strategi peningkatan pemasaran produk UMKM. Pada aspek pemasaran, diperlukan pentingnya foto produk dalam digitalisasi marketing yang menarik. Selain itu, diperlukan pemanfaatan internet sebagai media promosi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam membuat konten serta teknik fotografi produk untuk menjamin keberlangsungan program pada mitra usaha. Target khusus dalam kegiatan pngabdian ini ditekankan pada pengadaan alat berteknologi tepat guna untuk meningkatkan produktivitas seperti photo studio box, rotating display, dan microphone.

Abstract

Budidaya ikan lele adalah salah satu sektor pertanian perairan yang memiliki peran penting dalam memenuhi kebutuhan protein hewani dan pendapatan bagi petani di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Namun, praktik budidaya ikan lele tradisional sering kali menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk efisiensi pengelolaan pakan, yang dapat berdampak pada produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usaha petani. Di Kecamatan Wiyung, kendala-kendala ini juga ditemui, dan diperlukan inovasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan keberlanjutan dalam budidaya ikan lele. Salah satu solusi potensial yang bisa diimplementasikan adalah penggunaan alat pemberi makan otomatis. Alat ini dapat membantu mengoptimalkan pemberian pakan kepada ikan lele, meminimalkan limbah pakan, serta mengurangi kerja keras petani. Penelitian ini memiliki signifikansi yang besar dalam meningkatkan budidaya ikan lele di Kecamatan Wiyung. Dengan mengimplementasikan alat pemberi makan otomatis, petani akan dapat meningkatkan produksi dan pendapatan mereka. Selain itu, praktik budidaya yang lebih efisien juga berpotensi mengurangi dampak negatif pada lingkungan, seperti limbah pakan yang tidak dimakan ikan

Abstract

A queuing system is a mathematical model used to analyze the phenomenon where entities wait to receive services from one or more service providers. In this system, arriving entities will queue if the service is not immediately available and will be served according to a specific order or priority when the service becomes available. ABC Supermarket is a store that is always busy with customers. Besides having low prices, ABC Supermarket also provides daily necessities. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the cashier queue system implemented at ABC Supermarket is effective or not. This research uses the queue system method. This research concludes that the queue system at ABC Supermarket with 6 cashiers has an average ρ value percentage of 41.67%, which falls into the ineffective category. The most effective number of cashiers is 3, with an average r value percentage of 83.33%, which falls into the effective category. The purpose of queuing system analysis is to optimize the performance of the queuing process by determining the optimal number of service providers required.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Perkembangan teknologi masih belum merata di Indonesia. Daerah pedesaan termasuk yang masih terpinggirkan belum semua merasakan transformasi digital seperti yang terjadi di kota besar. Kesenjangan ini menyebabkan akses terhadap informasi dan komunikasi menjadi terbatas bagi masyarakat desa. Tujuan: Memberikan akses yang merata terhadap informasi yang dibutuhkan, mulai dari layanan publik hingga informasi tentang pengembangan ekonomi, edukasi, dan kesehatan. Selain itu, website ini juga berperan penting dalam membangun komunikasi yang lebih efektif antara warga. Metode: Tim pengabdian mencari informasi tentang latar belakang, permasalahan dan sumber daya yang ada. Tim memberikan saran pembuatan website untuk membangun komunikasi dan memberikan akses informasi kepada masyarakat Desa Sajen. Hasil: Dengan pembuatan Website desa menghasilkan dampak yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan memberdayakan masyarakat. Melalui website ini, akses informasi menjadi lebih merata bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat desa, memungkinkan mereka untuk mengakses informasi terkini tentang layanan publik, peluang ekonomi, pendidikan, kesehatan, dan aspek penting lainnya yang mempengaruhi kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan: Pembuatan website desa membuka peluang besar dalam meratakan akses informasi dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Setelah itu diharapkan kepada karang taruna desa untuk terus mengembangkan website yang telah dibuat dengan menyisipkan teknologi-teknologi yang akan berkembang diera yang akan datang. Kata kunci: informasi, teknologi, website ______________________________________________________________________________________ Abstract Background: In Indonesia, technological development can still be said to be uneven, and often rural areas or villages are still marginalized from the digital transformation taking place in big cities. This gap causes access to information and communication to be limited for village communities. Objective: Provide equitable access to needed information, ranging from public services to information about economic development, education and health. Apart from that, this website also plays an important role in building more effective communication between residents. Method: Through interviews with Sajen Village officers and youth organizations. The service team seeks information about background, problems and existing resources. The team provided suggestions for creating a website to build communication and provide access to information to the people of Sajen Village. Result: Creating a village website produced a significant impact in improving the quality of life and empowering the community. Through this website, access to information becomes more equitable for all levels of village society, allowing them to access the latest information about public services, economic opportunities, education, health, and other important aspects that influence daily life. Conclusion: Creating a village website opens up great opportunities to equalize access to information and improve the quality of life of the community. After that, it is hoped that the village youth organization will continue to develop the website that has been created by incorporating technologies that will develop in the future. Abstract

As a result of the physical characteristics of metals and their use on a large scale, the industry producing metal products is one of the most important in terms of volume when implementing reverse logistics practices. The relationship between suppliers and customers from the perspective of environmental demands, companies using metal materials are mapped into the Supply Chain operation Reference (SCOR) model. In this study there are Key Performance indicators (KPIs) which are categorized based on the performance attributes of SCOR, namely reliability, responsiveness, agility, cost, and assets management. Using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is an analytical method for the structure of a problem and is used to make decisions on an alternative that is useful for solving complex unstructured problems. The result of this research is that the performance value obtained is a yellow traffic light which means that the application of reverse logistics metal at PT. XYZ has not been implemented properly, so further research must be carried out with primary data in the form of a reverse logistics process each step by step.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and manage risks in Company X’s instant noodle production process using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) methods. FMEA is used to analyze potential failure modes, while EPQ optimizes production quantities to minimize storage and overproduction costs. The research identifies key risks such as overproduction, machinery failures, and packaging defects. Data collected includes production volumes, raw material usage, and defect rates. FMEA reveals that overproduction is the primary risk, leading to high storage costs. EPQ calculations are performed to determine the optimal monthly production for three instant noodle variants, resulting in significant cost savings. The study concludes that implementing EPQ alongside FMEA minimizes risks and reduces inventory management costs, highlighting the importance of systematic risk management in production optimization. This approach helps Company X enhance efficiency while cutting purchasing and costs expenses by Rp. 3,900,000.00 per month.

Abstract

The shipbuilding industry in Indonesia has an important role in supporting the development of the maritime sector as a national priority. PT Analysis using Basic Seven Tools and New Seven Tools shows that spatter has the highest percentage of defects, namely 60%, and there is data with a proportion value of 0.8095 which exceeds the upper control limit (LKA) of 0.7485. The main causes of welding defects include worker errors, less than optimal welding machines, low material quality, inappropriate welding methods, and unfavorable environmental conditions. Therefore, analytical approaches such as control charts and cause-and-effect diagrams are needed to continuously monitor and improve welding quality.

Abstract

This research aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the causes of bottlenecks in the water meter replacement process at PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya and offer better solutions to overcome them. This field research was conducted at PDAM Surya Sembada Surabaya using data collection methods such as observation and direct interviews with managers or relevant task force members. The collected data was then analysis using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) technique.  The findings of this study show that there are two main obstacles in the work: the water meter procurement process that uses a tender system that requires a long delivery time, and the lack of flexibility in project scheduling related to weather conditions, coupled with tight targets and pressure to complete tasks. Therefore, improvements are needed in the water meter procurement process and policies regarding target adjustments in times of adverse weather conditions.

Abstract

Xyz Company has a high awareness of maintaining production quality to ensure operational sustainability. This study aims to optimize the production process by minimizing defects in the future. The research was conducted through field observations and literature review, using company data as samples. The methods applied include Seven tools and Kaizen to analyze and improve the production process. Findings show that defects such as Scale, Round Wave, Scab, Defect on Surface Plate, Ultrasonic Test, Crack, Camber, and Flatness have high values. The recommendations suggest implementing continuous improvement with a focus on five key factors through Kaizen to enhance operational efficiency and foster a more collaborative and adaptive work culture.

Abstract

Urban aquaculture, like urban farming, entails using aquaculture technology to transform tiny, previously unutilized pieces of land in highly inhabited metropolitan areas into a useful area. Urban aquaculture, in broad terms, can be defined as the fish farming on small plots of land. Depending on the sort of consumable fish commodity to be grown, urban aquaculture can be implemented through home aquaculture and community aquaculture utilizing a variety of techniques. Creating a mandatory product involves the stages of development and design. At this stage, all product components, production costs, design, and assembly time are taken into account. Through sustainable product design and evaluation, it is possible to address the assembly performance and difficulties in the assembly process, as well as assembly time and costs. The design and development of this product use the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) method. DFMA is a method used to determine the product design with the best time and cost. In general, this method can also be used in development to improve the quality and measure the improvement of urban aquaculture product designs. It is hoped that urban aquaculture will provide an alternative product design to achieve high-quality products and low production costs.
