Abstract

As individuals with autism mature, they eventually reach the age for marriage, influenced by biological desires or cultural practices. In Islamic jurisprudence, autism is linked to the concept of `awarid ahliyyah (legal capacity impediments), which refers to obstacles to legal capacity, whether due to natural conditions such as insanity, idiocy, or forgetfulness, or from human factors like ignorance." In the context of the marriage of an autistic person, it is fundamentally subject to the essential pillars of marriage itself. Meanwhile, from the point of view of Islamic family law in Malaysia, it is fundamentally subject to the acts and enactments applied to normal Muslim. The research, utilizing descriptive, inductive, and deductive thematic analysis of library data, concludes that the marriage of an autistic individual is valid, though it may not be ideal, as it fulfills the essential pillar of marriage. In the Malaysian context, Islamic family law applies the same rules to autistic individuals as it does to others, requiring medical expert opinions to assess cognitive capacity. Thus, the opinion of medical experts is crucial in determining the type of autism and the individual’s cognitive capacity. If autism does not impair cognitive ability, autistic individuals can form households like any other couple. This aligns with the objectives of the 2007 Disabled Persons Policy, which ensures equal rights and opportunities for the disabled to participate fully in society. [Ketika individu dengan autisme tumbuh dewasa, mereka akan mencapai usia pernikahan, baik karena dorongan biologis maupun praktik budaya. Dalam kerangka hukum Islam, autisme sering dikaitkan dengan konsep ʿawāriḍ al-ahliyyah, yaitu hambatan terhadap kelayakan atau keabsahan seseorang untuk bertindak secara hukum, baik disebabkan oleh faktor alami seperti kegilaan, kebodohan, atau lupa, maupun oleh faktor manusia seperti ketidaktahuan. Dalam konteks pernikahan individu autistik, penilaiannya tetap bergantung pada rukun nikah itu sendiri. Dari perspektif hukum keluarga Islam di Malaysia, status pernikahan tersebut pada dasarnya tunduk pada undang-undang dan peraturan yang berlaku bagi individu Muslim pada umumnya. Kajian ini menggunakan metode analisis tematik secara deskriptif, induktif, dan deduktif terhadap data kepustakaan. Pernikahan individu autistik sah secara hukum Islam, meskipun mungkin tidak ideal, karena tetap memenuhi rukun dasar pernikahan. Dalam konteks Malaysia, hukum keluarga Islam memberlakukan ketentuan yang sama terhadap individu autistik seperti terhadap individu lainnya, dengan syarat adanya pendapat dari ahli medis untuk menilai kemampuan kognitif mereka. Oleh karena itu, pandangan ahli medis sangat penting dalam menentukan jenis autisme dan tingkat kemampuan kognitif seseorang. Apabila autisme tidak memengaruhi kemampuan kognitif, maka individu autistik berhak dan mampu membangun rumah tangga seperti pasangan lainnya. Hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan Kebijakan Penyandang Disabilitas 2007, yang menjamin hak dan kesempatan yang sama bagi penyandang disabilitas untuk berpartisipasi secara penuh dalam masyarakat.]

Abstract

The digital era has brought significant transformations across various aspects of life, including Islamic education. The rapid development of digital technologies, such as the internet, social media, and artificial intelligence, presents both challenges and opportunities in fostering a Quranic generation, namely individuals who uphold the Quran as a fundamental guide in their lives. However, scholarly discussions on how Islamic education can innovatively respond to digital transformation while preserving Quranic values remain limited. This study aims to analyze the urgency and forms of innovation in Islamic education in addressing the challenges of the digital era without compromising the essence of Quranic values. This research employs a qualitative method with a library-based approach, drawing on books, academic journals, and relevant scholarly sources related to Islamic education and digital transformation. The findings indicate that innovation in Islamic education encompasses the development of technology-based curricula, learning strategies, methods, and media, as well as contextual pedagogical approaches oriented toward character building and the internalization of Quranic values. Furthermore, teachers and Islamic educational institutions play a central role in integrating digital technology with spiritual and moral education. This study concludes that through appropriate and sustainable innovation, Islamic education can produce a generation that is not only digitally competent but also spiritually grounded, morally upright, and adaptable to contemporary challenges.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are: 1). To analyze the ability of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in the use of learning media to improve student achievement at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat. 2). To analyze the ability of PAI teachers in selecting appropriate learning media to improve student achievement at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat. 3). To analyze the improvement of student achievement at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat. The research method used is qualitative research of the field research type. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: 1). PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat have fairly good ability in utilizing learning media, both in the form of visual, audio, and simple technology media. The use of these media can increase students’ attention, understanding, and involvement in the learning process. 2). PAI teachers are able to adjust learning media to the characteristics of the material, students’ conditions, and learning objectives. Varied media such as PowerPoint, animated videos, puzzle cards, and practice-based learning have proven effective in increasing classroom interaction and students’ learning motivation. 3). Students’ achievement at SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selamat has improved in academic aspects, religious behavior, and learning motivation. The academic scores of the PAI subject show a significant increase; students’ religious behavior has improved, marked by increased discipline in worship and participation in religious activities; and students’ intrinsic and extrinsic motivation toward learning has also increased

Abstract

Study This aim for (1) For increase Islamic Education teacher competency in implementation of learning media ICT based at MAS Nurul Ulum, (2) For explain Teachers' ability to implement ICT based learning media at MAS Nurul Ulum, (3) For find solution obstacle And Islamic Education teacher solutions in implementation of learning media ICT based at MAS Nurul Ulum. Study This use descriptive qualitative approach. Results study show that (1) Competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Teachers in Implementation of Learning Media ICT based at MAS Nurul Ulum, that the PAI teacher has show competence strong professional And relevant with demands modern education based on technology. This is looks from ability they in Mastery Material Lessons, Determination Objective Learning, Use Method and Learning Media, Learning Process Management, Evaluation Results Learning, Development Professionalism Sustainable, and Integration Mark Religious . (2) PAI teacher's ability in implementation of learning media ICT based at MAS Nurul Ulum show significant progress. Teachers have capable master, design, develop, and implementing digital media effective, with impact positive to quality learning And teacher professionalism. Strengthening competence technical, media innovation, and improvement facility And training sustainable become key For maximize utilization of ICT so that the learning process the more interactive, interesting, and relevant with demands modern education as well as values Islam. (3) H obstacles And Islamic Education Teacher Solutions in Implementation of Learning Media ICT based at MAS Nurul Ulum show that teachers face three obstacle main, namely limitations means And infrastructure, differences ability technical teacher in use technology, as well as low readiness student in learning digital based. Solutions, utilizing offline media, using device personal, collaborative between teachers in media creation, as well as combine ICT methods with approach conventional.
