Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the efforts and approaches of parenting programs in overcoming the negative influence of information technology at Islamic Vocational School 02 Durenan Trenggalek. The method used to conduct this research is based on the location of the data source, including the field research category, with a qualitative research type. The research design is a case study. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is carried out starting from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the parenting program's efforts to overcome the negative influence of information technology on Class an and Al-Hadith. 2) Schools together with parents guide students to behave in a healthy direction which can help them choose alternative behavior that will bring maximum benefits to students in determining their choice of good social interactions, likes to help, loves the weak and respects other people. 3) School together with parents provides a good example. The approach taken by the parenting program in overcoming the negative influence of information technology on Class through a habituation approach to moral character, b) exemplary, by giving students an example to follow the example of the Prophet's morals, c) according to the characteristics of the student, even if possible, calling the parents and students to the office in order to successfully overcome these negative influences. 2) A group approach, namely: a) the school provides guidance in the guidance and counseling room to students who are negatively impacted by information technology, b) the school gathers students who violate school rules to provide counseling regarding the positive and negative benefits of information technology.

Abstract

This research analyzes “Merdeka Belajar” in Islamic religious education learning in implementing “Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar” at SMP Negeri 1 Ngantru Tulungagung. The research method used is a qualitative research approach. Data collection techniques are used to explore data by conducting interviews, observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of his research were that planning the “Kurikulum Merdeka” for Islamic Education Subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Ngantru Tulungangung was carried out using assessment planning in stages, including cognitive and non-cognitive diagnostic assessments, process assessments in the form of trigger questions and summative assessments. Implementation of the “Kurikulum Merdeka” for Islamic Education Subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Ngantru Tulungangung is done by implementing assessments before and after learning. In practice, if educators want to know students' cognitive abilities, educators present questions that are related to the learning material. Implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum starts with preliminary, core, and closing activities. Obstacles to implementing the “Kurikulum Merdeka” include limited material in student books, limited facilities and infrastructure, material in the Merdeka curriculum not yet fully mastered by teachers, implementation of an inclusive school system, limited technology capabilities that support the implementation of the “Kurikulum Merdeka.”

Abstract

This study examines the visionary leadership strategy in enhancing teacher creativity at Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, Tulungagung. The research is motivated by the phenomenon of the kiai as the pesantren leader, representing a unique and compelling form of leadership. The research approach employs a qualitative method. Data collection techniques include participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are: 1) data condensation, 2) data display, and 3) conclusion drawing/verification. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that visionary leadership is carried out by the kiai acting as a direction-setter, agent of change, supervisor, and role model, embodying ruh al-jihad and the spirit of striving to advance Darul Hikmah through the formation of a team in the management of the educational institution and collaboration with external parties in learning activities. The visionary leadership strategy in enhancing teacher creativity at Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, Tulungagung consists of: a) The kiai as a direction-setter communicates the vision to all components of the pesantren both horizontally and vertically. b) The kiai at Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School, Tulungagung serves as an agent of change responsible for inspiring transformation within the pesantren by teaching both religious and general knowledge to prepare and shape a young generation with strong religious insight and high intellectual capacity. c) The kiai as a good mentor fosters teamwork in realizing the vision and mission of Darul Hikmah by forming a team for educational institution management and collaborating with external parties in learning activities. d) The kiai as uswatun hasanah or a good role model demonstrates ruh al-jihad and the spirit of striving to develop and advance Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the influence of Kiai leadership and Pesantren culture on quality and competitiveness as mediating variables. The quantitative research method employs an explanatory research approach with a survey method. The questionnaire was designed based on the research variables, which include leadership, motivation, organizational culture, employee work discipline, and organizational commitment. Data was collected from 97 employees through random sampling. The data analysis utilized multiple regression analysis and the Sobel test. The results indicate that Kiai leadership significantly influences quality, meaning that the higher the Kiai leadership, the higher the quality; Pesantren culture significantly influences quality; Kiai leadership significantly influences competitiveness; Pesantren culture significantly influences competitiveness; competitiveness significantly influences quality, meaning that the higher the competitiveness, the higher the quality. Competitiveness can mediate the relationship between Kiai leadership and quality, indicating that an increase in competitiveness impacts the enhancement of Kiai leadership, thereby improving quality; and also acts as a mediating variable between Pesantren culture and quality, indicating that an increase in competitiveness enhances Pesantren culture, which in turn improves quality.
