ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan penguasaan kata baku dan kalimat efektif dengan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur pada siswa kelas VII MTs Al Amin Bogor. Berdasarkan analisis data didapatkan; 1) adanya hubungan penguasaan kata baku dengan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur yaitu rhitung sebesar 0,691 dan rtabel 0,349. Disimpulkan rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel yaitu 0,691 > 0,349 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, 2) adanya hubungan penguasaan kalimat efektif dengan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur yaitu rhitung sebesar 0,583 dan rtabel 0,349. Disimpulkan rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel yaitu 0,583 > 0,349 sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, 3) adanya hubungan penguasaan kata baku dan kalimat efektif dengan keterampilan menulis teks prosedur menghasilkan rhitung sebesar 0,713 dan rtabel yaitu 0,349. Disimpulkan bahwa rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel yaitu 0,713 > 0,349, sehingga H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak.
