Abstract

This article focuses on the COVID-19 information that has hit various countries in the world and results in high mortality rates. In Indonesia, various information emerged from social media that caused pressure, fear and even stress. This article is a literature review with a qualitative approach to the text of Psalm 23 about attitudes taken to deal with pressure or COVID-19. The purpose of writing is to raise the theological significance of Psalm 23 and implement it into the life experiences of believers today, where everyone is in a plague situation. Psalm 23 is considered appropriate because it talks about three themes namely the exposition in this paper namely nurture (vv. 1-3), guarding (v. 4) and fellowship with God (vv. 5-6). The analysis is carried out by conducting a hermenetic study, which is combined with narrative analysis.

Abstract

This article focuses on the situation that occurred in the current of globalization from the beginning of its development and attitudes towards the situation. The influence of digital globalization has provided a lot of progress and convenience for many people, especially the church. This article is a literature review with a qualitative approach to churches responding to digital globalization. The purpose of writing is to understand the development of the church situation in the era of digital globalization and find solutions for how the church responds to the flow of digital globalization. The method used in this research is library research, namely research conducted through collecting scientific data aimed at the object of research or data collection that is a library in nature, or studies carried out to solve a problem which is basically focused on critical and in-depth study. to relevant library materials. Therefore there are several things that the church does as follows: First, the church needs to “show up” on the internet. A digital church presence requires a simple website that has a legible sign and a name so that it can be found on Google Maps, Facebook, and Instagram showing where people are looking. Second, the church incorporates a digital strategy into all levels of ministry.AbstrakArtikel ini berfokus pada sitausi yang terjadi dalam arus globalisasi dari awal perkembangannya dan sikap terhadap situasi tersebut. Pengaruh globalisasi digital telah memberikan banyak kemajuan dan kemudahan bagi banyak orang terlebih gereja. Artikel ini merupakan kajian literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif tentang gereja menyikapi arus globalisasi digital. Tujuan penulisan adalah memahami perkembangan situasi gereja di era globalisasi digital dan menemukan solusi bagaimana gereja menyikapi arus globalisasi digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan atau library research, yakni penelitian yang dilakukan melalui mengum-pulkan data ilmiah yang bertujuan dengan obyek penelitian atau pengumpulan data yang bersifat kepustakaan, atau telaah yang dilaksanakan untuk memecahkan suatu masalah yang pada dasarnya tertumpu pada penelaahan kritis dan mendalam terhadap bahan-bahan pustaka yang relevan. Oleh karena itu ada beberapa hal yang dilakukan oleh gereja sebagai berikut: Pertama, gereja perlu “muncul” di internet. Kehadiran gereja digital membutuhkan website sederhana yang memiliki tanda yang dapat dibaca dan nama sehingga dapat ditemukan di Google Map, facebook, Instagram yang menunjukkan tempat yang dilihat orang. Kedua, gereja memasukkan strategi digital ke dalam semua tingkat pelayanan.

Abstract

The article entitled Theological Review of Hedonism in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 aims to prove the existence of the view of hedonism itself. Human achievement to the point of unlimited knowledge and freedom of life using Artificial Intelligence technology causes a shift in society and the concept of thinking about pleasure and the value of life. There are three parts that the author explains about the history of hedonism, hedonism in the church, and the teachings of the Lord Jesus regarding Hedonism. The theological view of hedonism in the 4.0 era emphasizes, first, the greatest achievements can be made by humans and enjoy freedom in it but knowledge is limited therefore humans have space and are only filled by God so that humans understand the real pleasure under the sun. Second, technology can develop quickly but cannot shift the value that exists in mankind as the noblest creation. Third, as great as human achievement is, pleasure can only be fully fulfilled in the context of the Kingdom of God and fulfilled by God Himself. AbstrakArtikel yang berjudul tinjauan teologi mengenai Hedonisme di era revolusi industri 4.0 bertujuan untuk membuktikan keberadaan pandangan hedonisme itu sendiri. Pecapaian manusia kepada titik pengetahuan yang tak terbatas dan kebebasan hidup dengan menggunakan teknologi Kecerdasan Buatan menyebabkan pergeseran masyarakat dan konsep berpikir tentang kesenangan dan nilai hidup. Ada tiga bagian yang penulis jelaskan mengenai sejarah hedonism, hedonisme dalam gereja, ajaran Tuhan Yesus mengenai Hedonisme. Pandangan teologi mengenai hedonisme di era 4.0 menekankan, pertama, pencapaian terhebat bisa dilakukan manusia dan menikmati kebebasan di dalamnya tetapi pengetahuan itu terbatas oleh karena itu manusia mempunyai ruang kosong dan hanya diisi oleh Allah sehingga manusia memahami kesenangan sesungguhnya di bawah matahari. Kedua, teknologi dapat berkembang cepat tetapi tidak dapat menggeser nilai yang ada dalam diri mansuai sebagai ciptaan yang termulia. Ketiga, begitu hebat pencapaian manusia, kesenangan itu hanya dapat sepenuhnya dipenuhkan dalam konteks Kerajaan Allah dan dipenuhkan oleh Allah sendiri.
