Abstract

This study aims to identify factors that influence the public’s behavioral intention to use the Kepahiang Local Tax Mobile Application. Developed by the Regional Government of Kepahiang Regency through the Revenue Division of the Regional Financial Agency, the application facilitates local tax payments, particularly for PBB-P2 (Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax). The research adopts an extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework, incorporating additional variables such as Computer Self-Efficacy and Cost of Service, along with original UTAUT constructs: Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions. It also examines moderating variables including Gender, Age, and Experience. Data were gathered through a questionnaire distributed to 152 respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Results reveal that Performance Expectancy and Social Influence significantly and positively affect Behavioral Intention to use the application, whereas Cost of Service shows a negative influence. Furthermore, Gender is found to moderate the relationship between Social Influence and Behavioral Intention. These findings offer insights into the key factors influencing the adoption of government mobile applications, serving as a useful reference for policymakers aiming to increase user acceptance and enhance the effectiveness of digital public services.

Abstract

Nowadays, information technology plays an important role as a support for daily activities. The role of this information technology is to provide convenience for its users. The development of information technology in banking is developing rapidly, until now there are digital banks. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out the factors that influence customers in the use of digital banks, especially in Indonesia. The research model used in this study is the UTAUT model with the addition of variables fear of financial loss, perceived identity theft, and security & privacy, with behavioral intention and security & privacy as moderation variables. In order to obtain data, data collection in the study was carried out by distributing questionnaires through Google Forms. From the questionnaire distributed, the results of 100 respondents of digital bank users were obtained. The results showed that the variables that have the most significant direct influence on Use Behavior in the use of bank digital applications are rerformance expectancy and security & privacy. Meanwhile, effort expectancy can be concluded that it does not have a significant influence on variable use behavior in digital banks, because both through variable moderation and direct effect, the Effort Expectancy factor does not have a significant influence.

Abstract

Data Mining is a process to obtain useful information from a database warehouse in the form of knowledge. Data transaction history of sales can be informative for a business decision. One of the largest telecommunications companies in Indonesia is experiencing problems selling its products in Jambi city. The sales trend for the products has decreased last year. This is due to competitor penetration which increasingly threatens the product’s existence as the company's best-selling product. Several previous studies used analysis based on clustering data to form information. Therefore, this study aims to process sales data into several clusters using the K-means clustering algorithm. The results of the clustering form 5 package categories, namely very in demand (1 data), in demand (1 data), moderate in demand (1 data), less in demand (1 data) and not-in demand (74 data). The grouping of these 5 clusters is based on evaluation by Davies Bouldin Index which yields a value of 0.035. The results of this clustering can be useful for company management to develop marketing strategies in the future.

Abstract

Robo-advisors provide an alternative financial solution tailored for regular clients. Beyond the acceptability of technology, financial factors significantly influence the adoption of robo-advisors. While existing studies extensively discuss the stages involved in the intention to utilize robo-advisors, only a few offer insights into financial capabilities. The purpose of this study is to investigate the extent to which Indonesian investors embrace robo-advisors by incorporating financial variables such as financial goals and financial literacy into the technology adoption in Robo Advisor. Additionally, the study explores the relationship between application costs and data privacy on the adoption of robo-advisor technology. This research employs a quantitative approach using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through a survey of 431 robo-advisor users and analyzed using SmartPLS. The findings reveal a significant and positive correlation between financial goals, perceived technology usefulness, and application costs in the adoption of robo-advisors in Indonesia. These results contribute to the development of investment decision theory using technology-based approaches, specifically robo-advisors. Furthermore, companies in the financial sector, particularly in wealth management or investment management, can benefit from incorporating financial goal features, enhancing technological performance, and setting competitive fees to increase adoption rates. Future research should further explore robo-advisor adoption, focusing on additional financial variables and financial behaviors that drive technology adoption as an investment decision. These findings highlight the importance of considering both financial and technological factors in promoting the use of robo-advisors among investors especially in Indonesia.
