Abstract

The success factor in implementing new technology is the acceptance and use of the technology by users. Indonesia is a country with significant investor growth since 2018 with the presence of technology that makes it easier to open accounts and online transactions. Is the presence of Robo advisor technology in investment products also expected to be acceptable like existing online investment applications? This paper provides a conceptual TAM model by adding UI/UX and Security as the driver of Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEU). We also add Trust and Expected Return variables related to financial variables. So that the proposed model can be used as a basis for empirical research in the future to validate the context of accepting Robo advisors in Indonesia. Keywords: UI & UX, Security, Trust, Expected Return, Intention to Use, Actual Use.

Abstract

ABSTRACT   The objective of this research is to examine the effect of corporate governance mechanisms (the size of independent commissioners and audit committee), loan to deposit ratio,  non performing loans, inflation and exchange rate on financial performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2007-2010. A sample  of 26 banks  is used  in this  study.  Moreover,  a multiple  regression  based on   the ordinary least square method is employed. The result shows that, based on the t-test, audit committee and loan to deposit ratio significantly affect  bank  financial  performance  (measured  by net  interest  margin).  However,  independent commissioners, non performing loans, inflation and exchange rate do not have a significant effect. Nevertheless, based on the F-test, all independent variables significantly influence bank financial performance.   Keyword :  independent commissioners, audit committee, loan to deposit ratio, non performing loan, inflation, exchange rate  bank financial performance, net interest margin.

Abstract

This paper describes research developments in the context of ESG (Environment, Social, and Good Governance) using a bibliometric analysis approach. The bibliometric analysis method measures and analyzes literature with a quantitative approach. The analysis results show that research on ESG & investment, kata “Performance”, and “Risk” has shown significant progress since 2015. “Methodological variables” and ESG “scoring” still need to be developed in future research on ESG-related topics

Abstract

This study explores the influence of digital literacy, technological adoption, and collaborative learning on student engagement in business education. Utilizing a quantitative research design, data were collected from 300 undergraduate students enrolled in business programs through a structured questionnaire. The analysis employed descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression techniques to investigate the relationships between the variables. The results revealed that digital literacy, technological adoption, and collaborative learning significantly contribute to student engagement, with collaborative learning emerging as the strongest predictor. The findings underscore the importance of enhancing digital literacy and promoting technology use in educational settings, alongside fostering collaborative learning experiences, to improve student engagement in business education. These insights have implications for educators and curriculum designers seeking to create more effective and engaging learning environments.

Abstract

The development of technology, particularly in the fields of automation and artificial intelligence (AI), has led to significant structural changes in the global labor market and economy. This study aims to analyze the transformational impact of automation and AI on economic structures and their implications for the future of the workforce. Using a descriptive-qualitative approach and literature analysis along with secondary data, this research finds that the shift from a manufacturing-based economy to a digital and knowledge-based economy has caused disruptions to traditional jobs. Many routine jobs are now being replaced by technology, while demand for digital and analytical skills is rising sharply. The skills gap has become a major challenge, as much of the workforce is unprepared for the demands of the digital age. This study also highlights the importance of government policy, the role of businesses, and the education system in supporting reskilling and upskilling programs. The findings are expected to contribute to the formulation of adaptive strategies that respond to the changing economic structure in the era of automation and AI.

Abstract

This study attempts to investigate how the marketing mix is practiced among women culinary entrepreneurs. A descriptive approach was used, with data collected through closed-ended questionnaires from 75 women culinary entrepreneurs. The results show that women culinary entrepreneurs in Bogor City do not implement several elements of the marketing mix, and their source of knowledge about the marketing mix is derived solely from business experience. The limited use of marketing mix elements is attributed to constraints faced by women culinary entrepreneurs, particularly limited working capital. A limitation of this study is its static nature, as it provides a descriptive overview of marketing mix practices without in-depth insight into the effects of these practices. Future research is suggested to empirically investigate the influence of marketing mix practices among women culinary entrepreneurs using a mixed-method approach.

Abstract

Robo-advisors provide an alternative financial solution tailored for regular clients. Beyond the acceptability of technology, financial factors significantly influence the adoption of robo-advisors. While existing studies extensively discuss the stages involved in the intention to utilize robo-advisors, only a few offer insights into financial capabilities. The purpose of this study is to investigate the extent to which Indonesian investors embrace robo-advisors by incorporating financial variables such as financial goals and financial literacy into the technology adoption in Robo Advisor. Additionally, the study explores the relationship between application costs and data privacy on the adoption of robo-advisor technology. This research employs a quantitative approach using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through a survey of 431 robo-advisor users and analyzed using SmartPLS. The findings reveal a significant and positive correlation between financial goals, perceived technology usefulness, and application costs in the adoption of robo-advisors in Indonesia. These results contribute to the development of investment decision theory using technology-based approaches, specifically robo-advisors. Furthermore, companies in the financial sector, particularly in wealth management or investment management, can benefit from incorporating financial goal features, enhancing technological performance, and setting competitive fees to increase adoption rates. Future research should further explore robo-advisor adoption, focusing on additional financial variables and financial behaviors that drive technology adoption as an investment decision. These findings highlight the importance of considering both financial and technological factors in promoting the use of robo-advisors among investors especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

Livestreaming presents itself as a new form of shopping environment that stimulates potential consumers in making stimulated shopping decisions. This paper aims to review the development of research related to livestreaming shopping using computational bibliometric analysis. Publish or Perish software was used to obtain literature data using the keyword "livestreaming shopping" and selecting a search database on Google Scholar with a time limit used for the last 10 years (2014 to 2024). The initial data search results were 457 articles, then filtered by removing documents deemed less relevant to the specified keywords/titles. The results show that livestreaming shopping research can be divided into two terms, namely live commerce and livestreaming shopping. The results of the analysis of livestreaming shopping publications in the last 10 years show an increase in the number of publications each year. The highest number of publications was in 2024 with 114 articles and the smallest publications in 2014 with 10 articles. This bibliometric analysis provides a summary and potential avenues for future livestreaming shopping research, as suggested by the findings
