Abstract

Perusahaan yang bergerak di industri jasa pelapisan chrom melakukan proses produksi dengan melakukan proses melapis chrom pada spare part di pelapisan chrom pada spare part yaitu knalpot pada kendaraan bermotor. Identifikasi masalah yang ditemukan pada perusahaan di bidang industri pelapisan chrom salah satunya adalah tidak tercapainya output produksi dengan kekurangan jumlah produksi pesanan sebesar 5% dibawah kekurangan batas toleransi dari target produksi setiap bulannya. Salah satu penyebab tidak tercapainya target dikarenakan waktu proses pelapisan amplas membutuhkan waktu proses paling panjang. Untuk itu metode yang bisa digunakan adalah Lean Six Sigma, untuk mengidentifikasi aktivitas pemborosan (waste) pada keseluruhan proses operasional. Beberapa tahap Lean six sigma dilakukan dengan tahap Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve dan Control (DMAIC). Tahapan ini sebagai bagian dari penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menghitung hasil jenis pemborosan (waste) yang terjadi dan menyebabkan proses tidak optimal, seperti transportation dan lost of intellect. Penyebab terjadinya pemborosan (waste) pada lini proses pengamplasan yaitu faktor lingkungan, operator (manusia), metode pengerjaan, serta lead time atau waktu siklus. Dari hasil identifikasi awal, proses pengamplasan memiliki waktu siklus sebesar 68,08 menit, dan dari hasil perbaikan waktu siklus pengerjaan menjadi 53.08 menit. Improvement yang dilakukan adalah membuat Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) di proses utama pengamplasan dan mengimplementasikan Pilot Project.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0, sebagai fenomena terkini dalam evolusi sektor manufaktur dan industri, mewakili perubahan paradigma yang signifikan dalam cara produksi, jasa, dan interaksi sosial dilakukan. PT Pondan Pangan Makmur Indonesia adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi bahan makanan, yang terus meningkatkan kualitas dan standar produknya dari waktu ke waktu. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai kesiapan PT Pondan Pangan Makmur Indonesia dalam menerapkan Industri 4.0 dengan menggunakan standar pengukuran indeks kesiapan Indonesia 4.0. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran untuk menganalisis dan menilai data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan kuesioner yang mencakup delapan departemen. Di antara lima pilar yang ditetapkan dalam Indi 4.0—Manajemen dan Organisasi, Manusia dan Budaya, Produk dan Layanan, Teknologi dan Operasi Pabrik—hasil analisis menunjukkan indeks 1,22 untuk PT Pondan Pangan Makmur Indonesia, menempatkannya pada Level 1, menandakan MULAI penerapan Industri 4.0. Untuk mengangkat indeks ke level sudah menerapkan, PT Pondan Pangan Makmur Indonesia memerlukan upaya besar untuk meningkatkan kesiapan di seluruh pilar. Hal ini menggaris bawahi perlunya inisiatif signifikan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan di setiap aspek.

Abstract

A common problem faced by companies is how to predict future production of goods based on previously collected data. Companies only produce according to orders, so that companies carry out the production process only according to the amount requested by consumers. When there is excess, this excess is stored in stock, this is to meet sudden consumer demand. Forecasts greatly influence management decisions to determine the amount of production of goods to be supplied by the company, general business and economic conditions, competitor reactions and actions, government actions, market trends, product life cycles, styles and fashions, changes in demand and innovation in consumer technology. This study aims to identify and analyze the results of forecasting red ginger powder production using the moving average forecasting method and exponential forecasting. This method has the advantage of greatly reducing data storage problems, so there is no need to store all historical data. This method is also simple and transparent which is widely used in various organizational activities such as inventory management, scheduling, and revenue management. For forecasting, the more data used for forecasting, the more accurate the forecasting results. The results of this study have succeeded in creating a forecasting system for the production of red ginger powder at PT Natrindo Surya Prima, namely using exponential smoothing forecasting with a value of α = 1. So it is easier to determine the amount of red ginger powder production in the following years.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the quality of floating feed at PT. Sprott Prima Feedmill. The method used is the Average Control Chart (X) and the Range Control Map (R). The samples taken were 20 times and 5 observations were taken for each sample. From the Average Control Map, the results show that the quality of the floating feed is still within reasonable limits or the quality is still guaranteed by looking at the points that are not outside the upper control limit or UCL, which is 8.48 or the lower control limit or LCL, which is 5.95. From the Range Control Map, the results show that the quality of the floating feed is also within reasonable limits or the quality is still guaranteed by looking at the points that are not outside the upper control limit or UCL, namely 3.09 or the lower control limit or LCL 0. So it can be concluded that the feed quality floating at PT. Sinta Prima Feedmill guaranteed quality.

Abstract

PT. Primayudha Mandirijaya is a manufacturing company operating in the textile sector. Customer satisfaction is the main goal. Therefore, production quality always comes first. However, there are problems in making this happen, namely that there are often defects in spools of 20s polyester, because these defects greatly exceed the production limit set by the company, namely 5% of total production. The aim of this research is to find out directly the problems that occur in the production process, as well as to find out the resolution of problems that occur on winding machines. To make this happen, the Statistical Quality Control method is used. To determine the possibility of failure, the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method is used. The results of research using the Statistical Quality Control method, the defect rate of 44.67% in Stitch can be reduced to 43.97% and the defect rate of 36.07% in Swelled Package can be reduced to 29.36%. In the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis method, the factors causing defects are influenced by a lack of attention to components and maintenance on the machine, so the maintenance team is recommended to carry out regular check-ups on the condition of the machine every day. Before repairs were carried out, total defects from January to September reached 68,231.52 or 5.28% of production output. After improvements, the number of defects decreased in October to 6,831.72 or 4.53%. Thus, this research is able to reduce defects in spools of 20s polyester thread by 0.75%.
