Abstract

One aspect frequently posing a challenge in cryptography pertains to the length of the secret key that users must remember. Achieving the requisite key length for cryptographic algorithms necessitates key padding. However, it is crucial to note that key padding is susceptible to predictable patterns. Both the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) and gray code are algorithms employed to generate sequences of padded key bits. Regrettably, LCG requires the determination of two pre-defined parameters, whereas the Auto Parameters Linear Congruential Generator (APLCG) automatically establishes these parameters. These parameters play a pivotal role in generating unique sequences of random integers. To fortify key security, the generation of new keys is performed using a modified logistic map, an enhancement of the standard logistic map that exhibits random behavior consistently. Stream cipher, an encryption algorithm, necessitates a continuous key stream matching the bit or byte length of the message. We conducted experiments on stream cipher algorithms employing key streams generated from APLCG, gray code, and modified logistic map. Twenty text documents were utilized as test samples. The outcomes indicate that stream ciphers employing APLCG, gray code, and modified logistic map demonstrate high-security performance based on the statistical analysis conducted.

Abstract

Adolescent mental health in East Nusa Tenggara Province has become an urgent concern due to increasing cases of emotional mental disorders and limited access to psychological services. To address this issue, the community service team partnered with the Klasis GMIT East Kupang City to develop the Teman Baomong Digital Platform as a web-based mental health consultation service for approximately 12,000 youth under the Klasis. This program aims to improve mental health literacy and access to psychological support that is safe, affordable, and stigma-free through online consultations with psychologists, religious leaders, and peer counselors, as well as the provision of educational content. The implementation methods included: (1) development of the Teman Baomong platform, (2) training of 35 peer counselors, (3) mental health education for 121 adolescents, and (4) provision of individual online consultation services. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests and a User Acceptance Test (UAT) to assess user acceptance of the platform. The results showed a significant increase in adolescent mental health literacy by 39.8% and enhanced involvement of peer counselors in community assistance. The UAT results from 50 respondents indicated an average score of 94%, demonstrating that the platform is perceived as highly effective and feasible for use. The highest-rated aspect was ease of use (98%), while the lowest was access speed (83.6%) due to internet network limitations in several congregation areas. In conclusion, the implementation of the Teman Baomong platform has effectively improved access to mental health services and literacy among adolescents, and it has strong potential for sustainable development within church and community support ecosystems in East Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Abstract — Malnutrition in toddlers, particularly wasting and severe wasting, remains a significant challenge in Indonesia, particularly in the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) province. This study aims to develop a daily food menu optimization system for wasted and severely wasted toddlers aged 12-59 months using the Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm. The system is designed to balance macronutrient (energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber) and micronutrient (calcium, iron, zinc, copper, phosphorus, vitamin C) needs. The utilized database consists of food items commonly found and easily accessible in NTT, categorized into staple foods, side dishes, vegetables, and fruits. The DE algorithm was implemented to generate optimal, varied, and affordable menu combinations. The results show that the DE algorithm successfully created balanced menu recommendations. The optimal configuration was achieved with a population size of 20 and 1,500 iterations, consistently producing valid menu solutions with efficient computation time. This system proves to be an effective tool for addressing toddler nutritional fulfillment by considering local food variety and affordability.
