Abstract

The aim of the study is to determine the effect of work discipline on the performance of employees.The type of research used is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 40 respondents using convenience sampling techniques. Respondents in the sample were civil servants in the Sub Directorate of Civil Service Archives II.B at the Jakarta State Civil Service Agency. The findings in this study indicate that there is an influence of work discipline on performance. This is indicated by the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient of r = 0.823. The results of this study are strengthened by the results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination which proves that the variable work discipline has a significant effect of 67.8%, while the remaining 32.2% is influenced by other factors that do not count in this study.

Abstract

Dengan semakin ketatnya tingkat persaingan bisnis, perusahaan dihadapkan pada tantangan untuk dapat mempertahankan kelangsungan hidup. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan adalah memberikan kompensasi kepada para karyawan agar mereka dapat lebih loyal kepada perusahaan, terdorong melaksanakan tugasnya dan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerjanya. Untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dalam pemberian kompensasi terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan, penulis melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu convenience sampling. Metode pengumpulan data adalah menggunakan kuesioner. Perhitungan statistik koefisien korelasi angka korelasi sebesar 0.798 tersebut masuk dalam kategori hubungan yang kuat sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara kompensasi dengan produktivitas mempunyai tingkat hubungan yang kuat. Berdasarkan perhitungan Uji Regresi Linear adalah 0.002 < 0.05 yang telah dilakukan, kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel produktivitas dan 7.008 > 2.048 maka variable kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas. Berdasarkan Uji determinasi maka kontribusi variabel kompensasi terhadap variabel produktivitas kerja adalah sebesar 63,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh factor faktor lain diluar penelitian sebesar 37,3%. With the increasing level of business competition, companies are faced with challenges to be able to maintain their survival. One of the ways that can be used by the company is to provide compensation for the employees so that they can be more loyal to the company, are motivated to carry out their duties and can increase their work productivity. To find out whether there is an influence in providing compensation on employee productivity, the authors conducted a study using a sampling technique, namely convenience sampling. The method of collecting data was using a questionnaire. The statistical calculation of the correlation coefficient of the correlation number of 0.798 is included in the strong relationship category so that it can be concluded that the relationship between compensation and productivity has a strong level of relationship. Based on the calculation of the Linear Regression Test is 0.002 <0.05 which has been done, compensation has a significant effect on the productivity variable and 7.008> 2.048, the compensation variable has a significant effect on productivity. Based on the test of determination, the contribution of the compensation variable to the work productivity variable was 63.7%, the rest was influenced by other factors outside the study of 37.3%

Abstract

Traffic violations that often occur on the highway make the Korps Lalu Lintas Polri in the current era of globalization more innovating in terms of the enforcement traffic violations in order to make it easier for the public to know the procedure of electronic-based Ticketed recently launched by Korps Lalu Lintas Polri. The methods used for research there in the end this is a method of observation, interview methods, and methods of documentation. This study aims to analyze effectivety of e-ticketed violations implementation in Korps Lalu Lintas Polri. Based on the results of the research done, the implementation of Electronic Ticketed or e-Ticketed applied by Korps Lalu Lintas Polri that is started from the enforcement traffic violations to offenders, input data in the application of e-Ticketed by Korps Lalu Lintas Polri members, followed by the payment of a fine of maximum committed by offenders to the Bank, data offenders sent to the Court to accept the Statute of judges, so that the Prosecutor can execute the ruling of speeding tickets. After that, violators will receive a notification and the remaining funds ticketed verdict speeding tickets that can be taken back through these exhibits can be taken back. Application of the maximum fines of procedure e-Ticketed is expected to reduce traffic violations increasing until recently.  Keywords: Effectivity, Implementation, Speeding Ticket

Abstract

Managing human resources is one of the important elements in any company organization or institute activities. On scope of human resources management there are various human resources activities were an act of taken to provide and maintaining performance adequate for the organization. Through performance assessment be used as a stage of work evaluation that can enhance the quality of employees and produces accurate information behavior and performance of members of the organization. This final project is a qualitative descriptive study with method of observation, interviews, and method of documentation. Implementation of performance assessment at Human Resources and General Affair conducted at the end of the year with calculate the element of SKP and work behavior as well as two additional elements, additional duties and creativity. Based on the result of research concerning the performance assessment results period of January-December 2017, for the highest SKP performance assessment is 96 and the lowest is 83 and the highest assessment of work behavior 90 and the lowest 76, the highest average value is 89.84. The method used in performance assessment is rating scale. Keywords: Performance Appraisal
