Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan kemampuan literasi kritis ibu serta mengoptimalisasikan peran ibu dalam literasi keluarga. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini, yaitu profil ibu dan anak, profil literasi keluarga, dan kemampuan literasi kritis ibu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden telah berusaha untuk membudayakan literasi keluarga di rumah masing-masing. Dalam hal menyediakan bahan bacaan, 75% responden memilih untuk membeli, 20% responden memilih untuk mengunduh, dan 5% responden  memilih untuk meminjam dari perpustakaan. Dalam hal strategi literasi keluarga, 20% responden telah menyusun program literasi keluarga, sedangkan 80% responden belum menyusun program literasi keluarga. Program literasi keluarga yang telah disusun oleh 20% responden memiliki perbedaan karena disesuaikan dengan karakteristik keluarga masing-masing. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan untuk mengoptimalisasikan peran ibu dalam literasi keluarga, dapat diketahui kemampuan berpikir kritis ibu berada dalam kategori sangat baik dan baik. Dengan demikian, ibu dapat memahami bahwa dalam berliterasi, yaitu mencari, menerima, mengelola, memproses, dan menyebarkan informasi dibutuhkan daya berpikir kritis.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the contribution of women as digital literacy activists and the form of community activities. This research is a phenomenological research, which describes the phenomena that occur with a qualitative approach, descriptive analysis and data collection techniques of interviews, literature studies and documentation. The results of the study were obtained in the form of motivation, contribution and activity of women in digital literacy. Women's motivation is due to an internal drive in the form of self-actualization, values, awareness and empathy. The external impetus is due to the phenomenon of low interest in reading, the influence of social media and the urgency of community education. The form of contribution is in the form of commitment, time, material, ideas and innovation. Forms of digital literacy activities such as reading, writing, discussing and appreciating literary works with a series of activities arranged and agreed upon together and guided by contributors or collaborating with other parties. The implication of the results of this study is that it can be used as a consideration for stakeholders to give appreciation in the form of awards to women digital literacy activists. Providing legal assistance for the legality of digital literary literacy communities, as well as funds for activities and the creation of literary works. Another thing is as a basis for follow-up to hold certified and nationally recognized training or seminars.

Abstract

Kemampuan menulis merupakan salah satu materi yang penting dalam pembelajaran di jenjang universitas. Fenomena yang terjadi saat ini adalah masih terdapat kekurangan mahasiswa dalam menulis. Oleh karena itu, diadakanlah penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan model student facilitator and explaining dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan menulis argumentatif mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia FKIP UMSU. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Untuk memperoleh data, digunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pemerolehan data merupakan hasil karangan mahasiswa yang berupa data kualitatif. Hasilnya dianalisis dengan rubrik penilaian serta dinilai dalam bentuk kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data disajikan secara deskriptif. Setelah penelitian, didapatkan hasil bahwa penerapan model student facilitator and explaining mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis argumentatif mahasiswa pendidikan bahasa dan sastra Indonesia FKIP UMSU. kemampuan menulis argumentatif mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari 46,67% menjadi 76,6% dan meningkat lagi menjadi 80%.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran, kemampuan menulis, dan menulis argumentatif
