<![CDATA[General anesthesia is a procedure to eliminate pain centrally accompanied by reversible loss of consciousness. General anesthesia has several complications, one of which is hypothermia. There are several factors that influence the occurrence of hypothermia during surgery including age. This study aims to determine the relationship between age and the incidence of hypothermia in patients with general anesthesia. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional research design. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling with a total of 31 respondents with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The instruments in this study were observation sheets and tympanic thermometers for body temperature. Data collection was carried out with observation sheets and data were analyzed using the Spearman rank test. The results of the study showed that almost all respondents were adults (96.8%). The results of the study showed no significant relationship between age and the incidence of hypothermia (p-value 0.375). There was no significant relationship in this study, possibly caused by several other factors that influenced the relationship between age and the incidence of hypothermia.
