Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of work motivation and discipline, both partially and simultaneously, on employee performance at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta. The research method that the author uses is a descriptive quantitative method and uses Multiple Linear Regression. The research was conducted on employees of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta. The sampling technique used a saturated sample of 70 respondents. Based on the research results showing partial results (t test), it was concluded that motivation (X1) had a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with a calculated t value of 3.742 > t table 1.667, reinforced with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. And work discipline (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value of 6.530 > t table 1.667, reinforced with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, based on the simultaneous regression test (F Test), the variabels motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). The calculated F value > F table or (175.592 > 3.134) was obtained. This was also confirmed by the significance < 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence of Motivation and Discipline have on Employee Performance at Savero Hotel in Depok. The method used is a quantitative method with descriptive analysis. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, where all of the population used as samples in this study totaled 50 respondents. The results of this study are that the motivational variable has a positive effect on employee performance with the results of the t-test value Tcount > Ttable (4.649 <2.011), then HO is rejected and H1 is accepted meaning that there is a significant influence between motivation on employee performance. Discipline has a positive effect on employee performance with the results of the t-test value Tcount > Ttable (2.410 <2.011), then HO is rejected and H2 is accepted meaning that there is a significant influence between discipline on employee performance. Motivation and discipline have a positive effect on employee performance at Savero Hotel in Depok with the regression equation Y = -11.582 + 0.939 X1 + 0.715 X2, the coefficient of determination is 0.648 or 64.8% and the remaining 35.2% is influenced by other factors outside the research variables, the results of the F value are known to show a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so it is concluded that the first hypothesis in other words motivation and discipline variables simultaneously affect performance employee.

Abstract

  This research aims to find out how work discipline and job satisfaction influence employee performance at PT Srikandi Diamond Motors Mitsubishi Alam Sutera. This research method uses quantitative research methods with a population and sample of 94 employees. The sampling technique used was a slovin sample. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. This research obtained partial results that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the first hypothesis test obtained from the tcount value of the hypothesis test, the value tcount > ttable (9.349 > 1.986) and the results of the simple regression test Y = 15.966 + 0.795 0.05). Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, this shows that partially the job satisfaction variable has a significant influence on employee performance at PT. Srikandi Diamond Motors Mitsubishi Alam Sutera. Based on the results of the second hypothesis test obtained from the value tcount > ttable or (10.005 > 1.986) and the results of the simple regression test Y = 12.406 + 0.490 X2. This can also be strengthened with a sig value < 0.05 or (0.000 < 0.05). Thus H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted. This shows that partially the job satisfaction variable has a significant influence on employee performance at PT. Srikandi Diamond Motors Mitsubishi Alam Sutera. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the value Fcount > Ftable or (73.590 > 2.705) and the results of multiple linear (Y) = 5.336 + 0.353 (X1) + 0.317 (X2) were obtained. Thus, H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted, this shows that simultaneously the variables of work discipline and job satisfaction have an influence on employee performance at PT. Srikandi Diamond Motors Mitsubishi Alam Sutera.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKonsep Smart City yang rencana akan didesain di wilayah Tangerang Selatan merupakan sebuah konsep kota cerdas yang dapat membantu masyarakat mengelola sumber daya yang ada dengan effisien dan memberikan informasi yang tepat kepada masyarakat atau lembaga dalam melakukan kegiatannya atau pun mengantisipasi kejadian yang tak terduga sebelumnya. Konsep Smart City kini menjadi impian kotaTangerang Selatan, dianggap sebagai solusi dalam mengatasi kemacetan yang merayap, sampah yang berserakan, ataupun pemantau kondisi lingkungan di suatu tempat yang menarik. Sebuah kota dengan dukungan teknologi pintar dalam menunjang aktivitas sehari-hari tentu akan semakin memudahkan manusia. Hanya saja, konsep Smart City Tangerang Selatan ini tampaknya masih harus didukung dengan pola pikir dan tindakan nyata manusia modern di Indonesia. Kesadaran akan lingkungan, pemanfaatan teknologi yang maksimal, serta kesadaran pentingnya pola hidup “cerdas” adalah hal- hal yang perlu diperhatikan juga. Merupakan sesuatu yang ironis, jika sebuah kota Tangerang Selatan mendapat predikat Smart City, namun masih membuang sampah sembarangan, merusak atau mengambil fasilitas, serta hal hal lainnya yang sifatnya negatif. Terlepas dari itu, Smart City Tangerang Selatan tampaknya bukanlah sebuah angan-angan belaka. Apalagi jika Smart City Tangerang Selatan ini didukung dengan cara berpikir dan bersikap yang cerdas. Untuk mewujudkan Smart City di Tangerang Selatan agar konsep Smart City tersebut dapat berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan konsep Smart City yang diinginkan kota- kota di Indonesia, yaitu Biaya & Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Masyarakat yang mampu mengembangkan sumberdaya alam lingkungan kota, membentuk karakter pola pikir maupun perilaku yang positif menerima perbedaan yang berkembang, dan memelihara fasilitas maupun infrastrukrur kota, maka mereka dikategorikan sebagai Smart People. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 7 Kecamatan di wilayah Tangerang Selatan. Pemilihan kecamatan berdasarkan arahan dari kedinasan atau instansi tertentu di wilayah Pemkot Tangerang Selatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengajak dan memotivasi masyarakat di Tangerang Selatan agar dapat memahami maksud dan tujuan yang sesungguhnya dalam hal berfikir dan bersikap ke arah yang lebih baik sesuai dengan tatanan dan tuntunan yang bersifat kebaikan (goodness morality) guna tercapainya impian agar kota cerdas Tangerang Selatan dapat tercapai. Tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) identifikasi wilayah yang dijadikan model penelitian (2) koordinasi dengan instansi atau lembaga yang terkait (3) komunikasi langsung dengan masyarakat.  Kata Kunci : Smart City, Smart People, Sumber Daya Manusia, Serpong
