Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of creativity of students who are taught using problem based learning models and students who are taught using direct learning models. To find out the learning outcomes of students who have a high level of creativity and creativity level of creativity is low. The method used in this study is Quasi Experimental. The design used is a 2x2 factorial design, because this design can be used to see student learning outcomes before administering treatments and after giving treatments. The results of the study found: (1) the level of creativity of students who study using a learning model based on higher learning outcomes compared to students who learn with the direct learning model; (2) student learning outcomes with a high level of creativity, significantly higher than students who have low levels of creativity; and (3) there is an interaction between the use of learning models and the level of creativity on student learning outcomes. This study concludes that: (1) problem based learning models can improve student creativity; (2) students who have a high level of creativity, higher learning outcomes than students who have low levels of creativity; and (3) there is an interaction between the use of learning models and the level of creativity on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Bustier is underwear that has a function, namely shaping the body to be more proportional. The manufacture of this bustier uses satin patchwork as the main ingredient in its manufacture. Satin fabric is a type of fabric material that is made through a weaving process using the weave technique or filament fiber technique. Patchwork is a craft that combines pieces of patchwork and has different motifs or colors and then becomes a new shape. The manufacture of bustiers that begins with determining the patchwork motif to be used in bustiers, fabric cutting, sewing, during installation, zipper installation, balen, and finishing can produce a bustier that is unique and different from most bustiers in general. In this study, it was stated that the use of patchwork satin fabric can be used in making bustiers.

Abstract

Natural substance coloring comes from natural ingredients that are the result of plant extracts, such as banana fronds that contain tannins in their sap and produce brown pigments. Dyeing of natural substances can be done using tunjung mordan and using Primisima cotton fabric. Primisima is a type of cotton with better quality than other types of cotton, with fine and thick fibers. This study aims to find out how to apply Primisima cotton fabric in the natural dyeing of kepok banana fronds using alum mordan (Al2SO4)3, lime (CaCO3), and tunjung (Fe(SO4)3) with dyeing techniques. The mordanting process is carried out in three ways, namely pre-mordan, simultaneous, and post-mordan, then fixed to lock the natural dyes of the mordan group and provide a more permanent color effect. The novelty of this research lies in the selection of natural dye materials from the fronds of the kepok banana and the use of different mordan combinations to obtain variations in color results in Primisima cotton fabric. Based on the dyeing results, the pre-mordan using the three mordans produces brown color and color flatness in the flat category, simultaneously produces light brown color with uneven color flatness, and post-mordan produces brown color with uneven color flatness. The best results were obtained by using the tunjung mordan on the pre-mordan, compared to simultaneous and post-mordan.

Abstract

Abstract

The ecoprinting technique, which employs a method of directly imparting color and shape to fabric, is one of the new discoveries that have led to the development of the natural material dyeing technique. The foundation for supporting appearance is outer. There are many different types of outerwear made, such as vests, blazers, and jackets. Worn either after a shirt or before a jacket, a vest completes the outfit. There are two different lengths of vests: one that falls below the breasts and the other that falls between the waist and the hips. The purpose of this study is to identify the ecoprint method that uses alum and tunjung mordant as well as how vests are made using this method on cotton fabric. The natural ingredients consist of kenikir leaves, meat crumble leaves, waru flowers, and bridal tears flowers. The outcome showed that while the motif was good, it was disorganized and some motifs were hidden because the fabric had been folded during the rolling process.
