Abstract

Abstract: This study is a baseline study that presents an overview of some of the factors that affect the application of policies of inclusive finance in North Sumatra. In this study the authors conducted a descriptive study of the total population, the number of productive population, the number of bank branches in North Sumatra and North Sumatra GRDP in the period 2010 to 2013. It is known that the number of people in North Sumatra in the period of observation has increased, but experienced reduction in the workforce. If seen from the data that reflected the local revenue of the value of GDP then an increase in revenue in North Sumatra, but not too big. While other factors measured were the number of bank branches operating in North Sumatra in the period of the study data showed that there was a significant increase over the number of bank branches operating in North Sumatra. This means that in terms of factors of population, income and branch offices in North Sumatra have been quite supportive of the application and implementation of better towards inclusive finance in North Sumatra. Abstrak: Studi ini merupakan kajian dasar yang mennyajikan beberapa gambaran sebagian faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan kebijakan inklusif keuangan di Sumatera Utara. Pada studi ini penulis melakukan kajian deskriptif terhadap jumlah penduduk, jumlah penduduk produktif, jumlah kantor cabang bank di Sumatera Utara dan PDRB Sumatera Utara dalam kurun waktu 2010 sampai dengan 2013. Diketahui bahwa jumlah penduduk di Sumatera Utara dalam kurun waktu pengamatan mengalami peningkatan, namun mengalami penurunan jumlah angkatan kerja. Jika dilihat dari data pendapatan daerah yang dicerminkan dari nilai PDRB maka terjadi peningkatan pendapatan di Sumatera Utara, namun tidak terlalu besar. Sedangkan faktor lainnya yang diamati adalah jumlah kantor cabang bank yang beroperasi di Sumatera Utara dalam kurun waktu studi diperoleh data bahwa terjadi peningkatan yang cukup signifikan atas jumlah kantor cabang perbankan yang beroperasi di Sumatera Utara. Ini artinya dari segi faktor jumlah penduduk, pendapatan dan kantor cabang di Sumatera Utara telah cukup mendukung atas penerapan dan pelaksanaan yang lebih baik terhadap keuangan inklusif di Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze Asset Growth, Capital Structure and Profitability. The location of this research is the Plantation and Food Crop Industry Sub-Sector Company which is listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of financial reports. The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. The sample in this research is all companies in the Plantation and Food Crops Industry Sub Sector registered on the IDX, totaling 23 companies with a total of 92 financial reports. The independent variables of this research are asset growth and debt to equity ratio (DER). The dependent variable is measured by return on equity (ROE). The research results show that partially asset growth and debt to equity ratio (DER) have a positive and significant effect on return on equity (ROE). Meanwhile, simultaneously the Asset Growth and debt to equity ratio (DER) variables have a positive and significant effect on return on equity (ROE). The magnitude of the influence exerted by all variables is 65.73%.

Abstract

Studying the effects of MSMEs' financial literacy and inclusion on their performance in Kota Pari Village, PantaiCermin District, SerdangBedagai Regency was the focus of this research. The research is aimed squarely at the SME sector. Financial literacy and financial inclusion, which have been shown to boost MSMEs' productivity, will be the focus of this research. This study employs a descriptive, quantitative method based on multiple linear regression analysis techniques to examine the data. Thirty micro, small, and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) players made up the research samples. It is hoped that the findings of this study would increase financial literacy and promote financial inclusion in Kota Pari Village, PantaiCermin District, SerdangBedagai Regency, so that micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the area can maximize their performance. The study found that a positive and substantial influence of financial literacy and financial inclusion on the performance of MSMEs was present at a total percentage of 48.2%.

Abstract

Credit is accounts receivable which represents the cash that delayed its acceptance, so the presence of bad credit is a factor that can make the weak condition of an institutional financial and non-financial. This study aims to determine the influence of factors internal and external to the Non-Performing Loan on PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. This study uses the method of descriptive qualitative. The study population is the debtor in the PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk Branch Binjai as many as 172 people and take 6 people, customers, as the sample of the study. Researchers use interview techniques to gather research data. Then based on the results of the research can be concluded there is the influence of internal factors which causes bad credit in some the absence of a clear separation between the personal property and company. If viewed from the side of the externalities then factor the causes of the credit jammed the misuse of credit made by the customer to the business that they manage. So it can be said that there is an influence between the internal and external factors on bad credit on PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk Cabang Binjai. If implementation and management of internal factors and external customers are less good then it will cause a reduction in revenue on the business customer so resulting in bad credit at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk Branch of Binjai.

Abstract

The creative industry is one of the important sectors in the Indonesian economy, including in villages. The village creative industry has the potential to improve the welfare of rural communities. However, the development of village creative industries requires adequate community quality, both in terms of skills, knowledge, and attitudes. This study aims to analyze efforts to improve the quality of the community as human resources in the creative industry of Kuala Serapuh village, Langkat. This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The research data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation The sample size was 50 respondents. The results showed that efforts to improve the quality of the community as human resources in the creative industry of Kuala Serapuh village were carried out through various ways, including: 1) training and education of skills and knowledge related to the creative industry, 2) increasing public access to information and technology and 3) forming a creative and innovative work culture. These efforts have had a positive impact on improving the quality of the community as human resources in the creative industry of Kwala Serapuh village. This is shown by the increasing skills, knowledge, and attitudes of the community in developing the village's creative industry.

Abstract

This service aims to increase the income of MSMEs in Pematang Serai Village, Langkat Regency through the application of digital marketing by utilizing Google Maps. The methods used include socialization, training, and assistance in creating and optimizing Google Business profiles. The results of the activity showed an increase in awareness and skills of MSMEs actors in utilizing Google Maps for promotion. The visibility of MSMEs on digital platforms increases, facilitating access to information for potential customers, and facilitating interaction with customers. Although the increase in revenue still needs to be further evaluated, this activity has laid the foundation for MSMEs to thrive in the digital era. Continuous mentoring, development of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, and collaboration with related parties are needed to optimize the impact of this activity.Abstrak. Layanan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan UMKM di Desa Pematang Serai, Kabupaten Langkat melalui penerapan pemasaran digital dengan memanfaatkan Google Maps. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan pembuatan serta pengoptimalan profil Google Business. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam memanfaatkan Google Maps untuk promosi. Visibilitas UMKM di platform digital meningkat, memudahkan akses informasi bagi calon konsumen, dan memudahkan interaksi dengan konsumen. Meskipun peningkatan pendapatan masih perlu dievaluasi lebih lanjut, kegiatan ini telah menjadi pondasi bagi UMKM untuk berkembang di era digital. Pendampingan berkelanjutan, pengembangan strategi pemasaran digital yang komprehensif, serta kolaborasi dengan pihak terkait sangat diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan dampak kegiatan ini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence non-performing loans at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance, the implementation of Risk Management in minimizing non-performing loans at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance and restructuring carried out in overcoming non-performing loans. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study indicate that the factors that influence non-performing loans at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance are divided into two factors, namely internal factors such as incorrect analysis and the Account Officer's lack of accuracy in analyzing 5C both before the loan is taken and after it is disbursed, while external factors such as uncertain economic conditions have caused customers' businesses to experience reduced income and can no longer pay. The implementation of Risk Management in minimizing non-performing loans at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance, including: Carrying out financing settlements politely and persuasively with customers; Carrying out rescheduling , namely changing the payment schedule for customer obligations or their terms; Carrying out reconditioning , namely changing some or all of the financing requirements without increasing the remaining principal of the customer's obligations that must be paid to the bank; Restructuring , namely changing the financing requirements. Restructuring in overcoming problematic credit at PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance is carried out by prioritizing the element of wisdom regarding the situation faced by debtors and the debtor's ability to pay, including taking into account the direction and policies of the regulator.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial performance indicators (current ratio, debt-to-equityratio, inventory ratio, net profit margin) and economic value added, as well as market value added, on firm value asrepresented by the price-to-earnings ratio. This research employs a quantitative methodology. The data is obtainedfrom secondary sources, specifically the financial records of PT Toba Pulp Lestari TBK from 2019 to 2023. Theemployed method is multiple linear regression analysis with EViews 12. Conclusions can be derived from the studytitled Analysis of Financial Performance of Economic Value Added and Market Value Added in Relation to CompanyValue at Toba Pulp Lestari TBK from 2019 to 2023. Current Ratio (CR) positively and significantly influencescompany value, while Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) negatively and significantly impacts company value. InventoryTurnover (ITO) also has a negative and significant effect on company value. Net Profit Margin (NPM) positivelyaffects company value but is insignificant. Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) bothpositively and significantly enhance company value.
