Abstract

This study aimed to analyze acceptance and commitment therapy counseling and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy counseling to reduce students? school burnout. To do so, the study employed pretest and multiple posttest design by involving 10 students chosen using purposive sampling from 430 students in Public Senior High School 3 Pati (SMA N 3 Pati). Their data were collected using School Burnout Inventory. Further, the results of repeated measure anova showed that acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy counseling were effective to reduce students? school burnout. For more, the discussion in this paper has more focus on the implication of counseling in school practice.

Abstract

Abstract: Novels are one of the effective media used to instill the values of the Pancasila Student Profile, especially in the dimension of mutual cooperation. Then these values can be used as a reference for Indonesian language teaching materials in high schools. This study aims to analyze the character of mutual cooperation in the translated novel Minimarket yang Merepotkan by Kim Hoyeon and its relevance as Indonesian language teaching materials in high schools. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data in this study were sentences and paragraphs containing the character of mutual cooperation and the results of interviews with informants. The data sources in this study were the text of the translated novel Minimarket yang Merepotkan by Kim Hoyeon and informants. The data collection techniques used were library techniques, listening and taking notes, and interviews with 10 questions. The validity of the data in this study used source and theory triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique in this study used an interactive model technique, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results showed that there was a character of mutual cooperation in the elements of collaboration, caring, and sharing. This research is also relevant to be used as a reference in developing Indonesian language teaching materials, especially literary studies in high schools.Abstrak: Novel mejadi salah satu media yang efektif digunakan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila, khususnya pada dimensi bergotong royong. Kemudian nilai-nilai tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai acuan bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakter gotong royong dalam novel terjemahan Minimarket yang Merepotkan karya Kim Hoyeon dan relevansinya sebagai bahan ajar bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kalimat dan paragraf yang mengandung karakter gotong royong serta hasil wawancara dengan informan. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah teks novel terjemahan Minimarket yang Merepotkan karya Kim Hoyeon dan informan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik pustaka, simak-catat, dan wawancara dengan 10 pertanyaan. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teori. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik model interaktif, yaitu pengumpulan data, data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan adanya karakter gotong royong pada elemen kolaborasi, kepedulian, dan berbagi. Penelitian ini juga relevan digunakan sebagai acuan dalam pengembangan bahan ajar Bahasa Indonesia, khususnya kajian sastra di SMA.
