Abstract

Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan kecerdasan emosional dan sikap kenberagamaan Mahasiswa IAIN Batusangkar. jika terdapat korelasi, seberapa erat korelasiantara pola asuh demokratis dan kecerdasan emosionaltersebut. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dan kecerdasan emosionalMahasiswa IAIN BatusangkarJenis penelitian ini termasuk kepada penelitian korelasional dengan metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasinya adalah Mahasiswa semester II Jurusan Bimbingan Konseling dapun sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan simple random sampling, maka diperoleh sampel sebanyak 45 orang Mahasiswa dan Data tentang hubungan antara pola asuh demokratis dan kecerdasan emosional dikumpulkan melalui angket yang diberikan kepada Mahasiswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian.Hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment diperoleh hasilbahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh demokratis dan kecerdasan emosional(Ha) dapat diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kecerdasan emosional Mahasiswa.

Abstract

Based on the results of the study, it was found that the meaning of life of unmarried prisoners was seen from the fulfillment of the meaningfulness of life dimensions in which the three respondents could reach the stages of meaningfulness of life. The three respondents reached the meaning of their life after going through processes consisting of the stage of suffering or suffering, the stage of self-acceptance, the stage of changing attitudes, the stage of finding the meaning of life, the stage of self-bonding, and the stage of life which means that the respondent is more appreciative of the values of appreciation, namely by making family as the goal of life. This appreciation is manifested differently by the three respondents. In the first and third respondents, N and R chose to direct the meaning of their lives to become people who obey God and make their parents proud, the second respondent, SE chose to direct the meaning of their lives for their families and education.Keyword: The Meaning of Life, Prosoners, State Prison

Abstract

The problem in this study is the final year students of Islamic Psychology are havenÔÇÖt a career plan for the future, still donÔÇÖt know their potential and sometimes when they are facing a difficulities or obstacles, they become unfocused and uneasy in doing their activities. This study aims to determine how the relationship between adversity quotient and career adaptability in final year students of Islamic Psychology IAIN Batusangkar. The population and sample of this study were all final year students of Islamic Psychology study program IAIN Batusangkar, totaling 34 people. The data collection technique in this study used the Career Adapt-Ability Scale (CAAS) questionnaire which had been adapted and modified by the Adversity Response Profile questionnaire. The results showed that the significance value was 0.287, with a value of r calculated (0.188) which means there is no significant relationship between adversity quotient and career adaptability in final year students of Islamic Psychology Study Program IAIN Batusangkar with the sign on the result is positive which means the higher the adversity quotient final year students, the higher their career adaptability will be.Keywords: adversity quotient, career adaptability, final year students
