Abstract

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuantitatif korelasional.Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 102 orang remaja asrama pondok pesantren suamatera thawalib parabek bukittinggi yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling.Pengambilan data penelitian menggunakan skala perilaku pola asuh, dukungan sosial dan skala penyesuaian sosial.Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengolahan data yaitu teknik analisis regresi berganda.Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis diproleh nilai R-square sebesar 0.188 dan probabiliti = 0.000 (p < 0.05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara pola asuh orangtua dan dukungan sosial kakak pendamping dengan penyesuaian sosial remaja di asrama pondok pesantren sumatera thawalib parabek Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Potatoes are among the vegetables highly susceptible to climate change, and its consequences can significantly affect technical efficiency.However, the production of potato relatively fluctuated due to some factors influencing it. The study aims to analyze the factors affecting potato production, measure the level of technical efficiency in potato farming, and identify the socio-economic factors that influence technical inefficiency in potato farming, both in the rainy and dry seasons. The study was conducted in Merangin Regency, Jambi Province. A purposive sampling method was used to select the research area and collect data from 102 potato farmers. The data were analyzed using the Stochastic Frontier Cobb-Douglas production function model with a maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) approach. The research results show that land and seed variables significantly influence potato production, both in the rainy and dry seasons. Meanwhile, fertilizer P and labor only significantly influence the dry season. The average level of technical efficiency in the dry season (0.89) is higher than in the rainy season (0.73). The results of the average difference test (t-test) show that in the dry season, the level of technical efficiency has a higher value than in the rainy season, with a significance of 1%. The significant socio-economic variables influencing technical efficiency are membership in farmer groups.

Abstract

The Indonesian coffee industry has developed rapidly and has become an integral part of modern lifestyle consumption. Starbucks Indonesia, as a market leader, relies heavily on effective human resource management to maintain service quality and competitive advantage. However, Starbucks Grand Indonesia Mall faces several challenges related to organizational culture, the effectiveness of job training, and employee motivation, particularly among employees aged 18–24 years. This study examines the effects of organizational culture and job training on employees’ work motivation and, in turn, their performance at Starbucks Grand Indonesia Mall. A quantitative research design was adopted, applying both descriptive and explanatory approaches. The study involved 49 employees, all of whom participated as respondents via a census (saturated sampling) method. Data were gathered using structured questionnaires measured on a Likert scale, supported by observations and interviews. Path analysis was utilized to evaluate the direct and indirect relationships among the research variables. The findings demonstrate that both organizational culture and job training exert a positive and statistically significant influence on employees’ work motivation, accounting for 54% of the observed variance. In addition, organizational culture, job training, and work motivation, both collectively and individually, have significant effects on employee performance, accounting for 67% of the total variation in performance outcomes. Among these predictors, job training emerges as the most influential determinant of employee performance. This study extends the existing human resource management literature by providing empirical evidence from Indonesia’s retail coffee service industry, with particular attention to the mediating role of work motivation. By empirically validating this relationship, the study provides a deeper understanding of how organizational practices translate into performance outcomes. The findings offer strategic implications for practitioners, particularly in designing integrated human resource frameworks that foster sustainable employee performance and strengthen long-term organizational competitiveness.
