Abstract

The PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions) Policy significantly impacted tourist villages in Bali, resulting in many of them only being able to bring in a limited number of visitors per year. One digital marketing platform that has been helpful to these villages is the Godevi Marketplace. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Godevi website and provide recommendations for increasing tourist engagement and traffic. Using the ICTRT model for mobile and a qualitative approach, the study surveyed 97 tourists and interviewed experts. A total of 5 variables with 51 instruments using the ICTRT model for mobile were analyzed by measuring the effectiveness of the website. The results show that the Godevi website is relatively effective, particularly in terms of destination branding. However, the website could improve in terms of relationship and transaction dimensions. The study recommends that tourism village website managers, specifically Godevi, optimize relationship features and reduce transaction obstacles.

Abstract

This paper aims to study the role of local government in realizing sustainable marine tourism. Pemuteran Village is one of the best practices of sustainable marine tourism in the developing world. Three types of government roles were studied, namely: regulator, facilitator, and of executor.. These roles were positioned as exogenous latent variables in a causal relationship with  sustainable marine tourism in the village. Sustainability is measured through reflective constructs, i.e. economic benefit, socio-cultural benefit, and environmental benefit felt by the local community of Pemuteran Village. The data were  collected from 60 respondents, consisting of community leaders, non-governmental organizations, and tourism industry stakeholders in Pemuteran Village. Then, questionnaires were analyzed by structural equation modelling—partial least square (path modelling). The results show that the government roles did not have a significant effect on marine tourism sustainability. However, the role of local government and the existence of marine tourism sustainability were reflected significantly in its three constructs where the most represented construct in this relationship respectively are the role of facilitator and the environmental benefit. The most important finding in this research is that the role of local government was not only measured  by regulator and facilitator roles, as in previous research, but includes analysis of the executor role. which proved significant in structural model evaluationone of the best practices of sustainable marine tourism — – partial least square (path modelling). The results show that the government roles did not have aprove significantly aeffect on marine tourism sustainability. Abstract

The province of Bali is inseparable from tourism. Tourism influences life satisfaction. Overall life satisfaction is derived from satisfaction with aspects of life such as material well-being, social well-being, emotional well-being, and health and safety well-being. These dimensions lead to quality of life, so the community's quality of life must be the government's and other stakeholders' primary concern. South Bali is one of the strategic tourism areas in Bali Province, so the readiness and support of the local community are critical. This research focuses on people who work in the tourism sector in the South Bali Region. The researcher emphasizes tourism-affiliated communities, which may be more sensitive to the impacts of tourism. The purpose of this study is to determine workers' perceptions regarding tourism's impact on their quality of life. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The results showed that, in general, workers' quality of life was in the moderate category, which amounted to 38.58% of 127 respondents. This data can be a reference for stakeholders or other stakeholders in paying attention to each indicator so that workers in the tourism sector who also reside or become communities in the South Bali Region can obtain life satisfaction as a result of the tourism industry in the region.

Abstract

Studies on positioning and branding strategies for East Manggarai Tourism Destinations are currently very limited. Previous studies were conducted only partially and focused only on tourist attractions. On the other hand, the high gap between domestic and foreign tourist visits is nearly 10.000 times. Foreign tourist visits have not yet reached a significant number. However, East Manggarai has tremendous tourism potential with 118 tourist attractions spread across four strategic tourism areas in the region. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the positioning and branding strategies of East Manggarai Tourism Destinations by mapping tourism market segmentation trends. Designed with a quantitative descriptive approach, questionnaires were distributed to tourists accidentally encountered in the field. The branding formulation "Keep Exploring The Dangerous Golden Dragon in the World" is expected to strengthen the image of East Manggarai Tourism Destinations as a competitive new brand and supports the image of tourism in East Nusa Tenggara as The New Tourism Territory.

Abstract

In 2024, the hotel room occupancy rate in Bali reached only 58.97%. This indicates that hotels must work diligently to manage their online reputation amid fierce competition. One of the best practices among hotels in Bali with a competitive online reputation and brand image is Alila Villas Uluwatu. This study aims to analyze how online reputation management through digital platforms can strengthen the brand image of Alila Villas Uluwatu. The study will explore the strategies and practices implemented by Alila Villas Uluwatu in building and maintaining their online reputation. Designed with a qualitative approach using in-depth interviews, social media analytics, observation, and document analysis, the findings of this research indicate that meticulous planning, structured organization, effective execution, and systematic control have a significant impact on enhancing the brand image of Alila Villas Uluwatu. The improvement in visibility and brand image is reflected in high engagement levels, reach, and impressions on social media, as well as positive ratings on review platforms. These results confirm that the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) strategy combined with content themed around Balinese culture and luxury successfully attracts audience attention and strengthens the brand image of Alila Villas Uluwatu. This research provides valuable insights for other hotels on how to manage online reputation to enhance brand image.
