Abstract

The new archiving system in Hegarmanah Village, in operation for one year, is currently limited to storing formal letters. It does not yet cover incoming and outgoing letters or memos, is not integrated with Gmail, and lacks alternatives for server disruptions. Web- based technology facilitates secure and efficient archive storage. This research aims to address the shortcomings of the letter archiving system in Hegarmanah Village by adding memo features, integrating the application with Gmail, and providing alternatives during server disruptions. The goal is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of archive management in the village, including disposition notifications and minimizing the impact of server disruptions. The system analysis and design utilize Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and the Rational Unified Process (RUP) model, which includes initiation, design, construction, and deployment. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML), incorporating Use Case, Class Diagram, Activity Diagram, and Sequence Diagram to create an efficient archiving system in Hegarmanah Village. Based on the research and design of the Archiving Information System in Hegarmanah Village, the archiving system now includes the management of general letters and memos, expanding its archiving functions. Letter disposition is equipped with notifications integrated with Gmail, enabling the village head and staff to receive information more quickly. Additionally, an import file feature is provided as an alternative during server disruptions, allowing data to continue functioning and be imported once the server is restored, ensuring operational continuity.

Abstract

The Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) is vital for improving higher education quality. To support its functions, strategic Information System (IS) planning is essential. This research aims to develop an IS strategic plan for Ma'soem University's QAI, using the Ward and Peppard method. This qualitative case study comprehensively analyzes the university's business and IS/IT environments, utilizing tools like PESTEL, SWOT, and others. The research results show that indicate Ma'soem University's QAI requires integrated IS/IT to optimize the PPEPP quality cycle and support decision-making. Challenges include fragmented data and manual processes. The proposed IS/IT strategy focuses on PPEPP effectiveness, integrated platforms, and sound IS/IT governance. The application portfolio includes a strategic e-SPMI system, quality analytics, and stakeholder collaboration. This planning is expected to enhance the QAI's efficiency, transparency, and accountability, thereby supporting the university's vision.

Abstract

PT. Niasa, like many MSMEs in Indonesia, faced significant operational challenges due to its manual transaction recording and inventory management systems. These manual processes led to crucial issues such as recording errors, data duplication, reporting delays, and difficulty in monitoring stock in real-time. This research aims to design and build a web-based Point of Sale (POS) information system to address these problems. To meet the dynamic needs of MSMEs and ensure the resulting solution aligns with user requirements, the Scrum methodology was chosen for its iterative and adaptive approach. The output of this research is a functional web-based POS system, which includes features for user, product, transaction, and report management. Implementation results show the system successfully improved operational efficiency through increased transaction speed, data accuracy, and faster report generation.

Abstract

The design of this teacher payroll processing information system was developed to make it easier to manage teacher salaries at SMKTIK Yadika Cicalengka so as to minimize duplication.for the system design using the OOAD (object Oriented Analysis and Design) while the model used is RUP (Rational Unified Process) where the development tools are UML (Unified Modeling Language) There is also an explanation of the information system design process. Website-based payroll processing that will be built, starting from the design of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, user interfaces, hardware design and in designing this hardware requires hardware configuration, hardware specifications, and software specifications
