Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penyebab rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan pada sistem distribusi jaringan tegangan rendah dan untuk meminimalisir rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan pada sistem distribusi jaringan tegangan rendah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian evaluasi  rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan adalah metode studi literatur, wawancara/interview dan metode analisa data. Kemudian dengan metode tersebut didapatkan hasil perhitungan untuk meminimalisir penyebab rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka Rerata jatuh tegangan sebelum beban diseimbangkan pada perumahan BTN Hamzy adalah 46,61 volt atau 20,09%. dan pada perumahan BTN Antara adalah 35,49 volt atau 15,29 %. Adapun Rerata rugi daya sebelum beban diseimbangkan pada perumahan BTN Hamzy adalah 19,896 kW atau 22,35%  dan pada BTN Antara  sebesar  13,47 kW atau 16,98%. Untuk meminimalisir rugi daya dan jatuh tegangan pada perumahan BTN Hamzy dan BTN Antara yaitu dengan menyeimbangkan beban. Setelah beban diseimbangkan maka diperoleh Rerata jatuh tegangan setelah beban diseimbangkan pada perumahan BTN Hamzy adalah 36,70 volt atau 15,82 % dan pada perumahan BTN Antara adalah 28,11 volt atau 12,12 %. Adapun Rerata rugi daya setelah beban diseimbangkan pada perumahan BTN Hamzy adalah 18,838 kW atau 20,84 % dan  pada perumahan BTN Antara adalah 12,712 kW atau 15,96%.

Abstract

Changes in frequency and voltage caused by erratic load changes on consumers of Micro Hydro Power Plants (MHP) can damage generators and household appliances consumers. This problem can be addressed by providing a replacement load. However, to optimize the replacement load, it is necessary to design a control system for the replacement load. This research was conducted to control the generator output when an erratic load change occurs. In addition, this study also aims to monitor the generator output remotely using the internet. Accordingly, the research was conducted with hardware design and software design. Data collection is done by testing technique, while data analysis is done by simple regression. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the use of design tools can control the replacement load and measure voltage, current, and frequency. The use of this tool can also monitor and store data using the GSM internet network so that monitoring can be carried out remotely

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan penentuan setting alat proteksi yang terdapat dalam koordinasi sistem proteksi penyulang Tamarunang dengan adanya pelimpahan beban dari penyulang GHSM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan setting koordinasi proteksi pada kondisi pelimpahan beban sesuai dengan standar IEEE 242-2001. Perhitungan setting dilakukan dengan metode diagram impedansi untuk kemudian menghitung arus hubung singkat tiap section. Maka didapatkan setting terbaik OCR PMT Exp GHSM, Basoi dan Mangasa sebagai outgoing masing-masing memiliki nilai TMS = 0,16, relay PMT Exp Malino memiliki nilai TMS = 0,24, pada relay PMT Recloser Rafis memiliki nilai TMS = 0,26, relay PMT Penyulang Tamarunang memiliki nilai TMS 0,35. Pada setting GFR PMT Exp GHSM, Basoi dan Mangasa sebagai outgoing masing-masing memiliki nilai TMS = 0,049, pada relay PMT Exp Malino memiliki nilai TMS = 0,174, pada relay PMT Recloser memiliki nilai TMS = 0,191, pada relay PMT Penyulang Tamarunang memiliki nilai TMS 0,257.

Abstract

Drying food products using traditional methods relying on sunlight takes a relatively long time, especially with unpredictable weather conditions. Essentially, artificial drying using heat-based equipment provides several advantages, including: independence from weather conditions, adjustable drying capacity, controlled temperature, no need for extensive space, controlled drying conditions, and guaranteed and uniform drying quality. Therefore, this design aims to create a food drying apparatus with PLC control. PLC is used as the controller for this drying apparatus, allowing automatic drying of certain types of food. In this design, we connect a DC motor to rotate the drying cylinder with a PLC device by creating a ladder diagram and determining the inputs and outputs in the CX-Programmer application. The design utilizes three inputs and two outputs. It is important that the I/O is readable by the PLC so that the system operates according to the programmed instructions.

Abstract

Improving power quality in electrical distribution systems is increasingly important with the increasing use of nonlinear loads, such as Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD), which can produce harmonies. This harmonic has the potential to damage equipment, reduce system efficiency, and interfere with power quality. Distribution systems such as IEEE 13 Bus are often used for power quality management analysis. Through simulation, researchers can identify the source and impact of harmonics and evaluate solutions, such as the application of passive filters that absorb or divert harmonic currents, to reduce their negative effects in the distribution system. In this study, two power sources, several transformers, static loads, and nonlinear loads in the form of Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) were used. The simulation was carried out using Simulink R2019b to model the distribution network, generators, transformers, and loads. The simulation results show that the Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) load can produce a total harmonic current distortion (THDi) of 24.62% in bus 7, while the total harmonic voltage distortion (THDv) is 0.97%. To minimize harmonic values, passive filters with variations of RL, RC, LC, and RLC are used. The results show that the use of RL passive filters is more effective in reducing THDi and THDv values in bus 7 by 24.47% and 0.97%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to simulate network maneuvers due to disruption in the distribution system. This research was conducted in the Daya substation from January to March 2019, transformer 20 MVA. To achieve the research goal, network maneuvers were carried out in accordance with the standard operation procedure (SOP) of PT. PLN by simulating the conditions before and after the maneuver under Digsilent. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a change in the loading value of several back-up feeders to cover consumers demand for day and night time.
