Abstract

This paper aimed to analyze the turn taking used by the teacher and students in conversation class and provide the authentic evidence of the classroom discourse. The script of conversation were chosen as the materials of the study. The analysis of turn taking is adopted from Sinclair and Coulthard?s framework (1975, cited in Christie, 2002) of IRF (Initiation, Response, Feedback) and Mehan?s work (1979, cited in Rymes, 2008) who proposed IRE (Initiation, Response, Evaluation). The underlying structure of the pattern is: (a) Teacher question or Initiation, (b) Student Response, and (c) Teacher evaluation or feedback (Bloome, et.al 2005).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Professionalism, Competence, and Independence on Audit Quality at the Sintang Inspectorate office in West Kalimantan. This research uses primary data. The population in this study were all auditors working in the Sintang Inspectorate Office in West Kalimantan. The method used in sample selection is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire with a total sample of 35 respondents. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 24. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Professionalism has no significant effect on Audit Quality (2) Competence has no significant effect on Audit Quality (3) Independence no significant effect on Audit Quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is first, to find out the planning of the head of the madrasah in realizing an independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok; second, to find out the organization of the head of the madrasah in realizing an independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok; third, to find out the implementation of the head of the madrasah in realizing a great, independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok; and fourth, to find out the evaluation of the head of the madrasah in realizing a great, independent and outstanding madrasah at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Solok. This research is a field research that uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The techniques used in data collection are: observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used in this study are: data reduction, data presentation (data display), data checking (data verification), and drawing conclusions. This research found that the management of the head of the madrasah in realizing a great, independent and outstanding madrasah in MTsN 2 Solok has been going well, which is judging from four things, namely: first, planning carried out by means of good deliberation and cooperation between the head of the madrasah and all academics; second, the organization carried out has been carried out according to planning and the distribution of each task in accordance with the expertise and skills possessed; Third, in the implementation process, the head of the madrasah always takes part to provide direction and guidance; And fourth, the supervision carried out has been carried out effectively, because this supervision is useful to find out whether the planning, organizing, implementation has been carried out in accordance with the predetermined objectives in realizing an independent and outstanding madrasah.
