Abstract

Kalembak Village located strategically on the shore of the open ocean and has open access to City Center. Marine sources are their common survival method for living. Their fishers are actively growing the family income from fishing such as fish, shells, crabs, and etc. In order for them to get customers are varied. Some of them have the ability to get tied with customers and get them to come by phone to take the morning catch, but not few have to go the extra mile to get a penny from customers. Those who go around are depending on the lucky factors through their not advance facility. Armed with a small plastic bucket to carry the fishes placed in front of their motorcycle, fishers go through the city to find those who willing to buy their catches. The writer sees this phenomenon as a constraint to fishers? value of income. The ability to catch more than their usual actually obstructed by the fact they can only carry a small amount on a plastic bucket. Through this social empowerment program, the writer has come with the solution idea for the Kalembak fishers in order to ease their mobility service. By doing a purposive sampling on a qualitative method and observation, the writer finds the data on Kalembak fishers who need enhancement on their mobilization. For result, the Kalembak fishers get to multiply and increase their usual catch and income

Abstract

The library is a public facility that has a very positive impact on the wider community. However, the rapid development of technology and information has resulted in many conventional libraries being abandoned by current library users, namely generation Z. The systems used in conventional libraries can no longer meet the needs of generation Z who want to do things independently by getting fast, easy and efficient results. Thus, the design of a self-service library based on smart architecture is a solution to solve this problem. With the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, Internet of Things (IoT), and Building Automation System (BAS) systems in designing self-service libraries, a library building can be referred to as a smart library. The design of this smart library aims to increase efficiency and flow automation in the library so that it can meet the needs of generation Z and can be used properly by other library visitors. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method by comparing case studies in 3 buildings to analyze the novelty elements that the researcher wants to get. So that this research can provide recommendations on the organization of library building spaces with automation flow to increase efficiency. Keywords : Smart Library, Self-Service, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification), IoT (Internet of Things), BAS (Building Automation System)

Abstract

This study demonstrates that several key elements, including economic development, art and cultural engagement, participatory stakeholder involvement, and collaborative management, intersect with the concept of creative placemaking. This intersection suggests that, as the creative placemaking process impacts a wide array of interests, the reinforcement of creativity has, in some cases, diminished the recognition of its foundational contributions. The aim of this study is to explore how innovative placemaking can support regenerative strategy in development within a specific or thematic context, such as historical or protected sites. This research focuses on innovative placemaking strategies as essential components of notable socio-spatial concepts in specific geographies, including their unique natural features. To achieve this, a systematic literature review was conducted, examining creative placemaking research from around the world across all times. The review followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines and utilized three major academic databases: Scopus, Web of Science (WOS), and Science Direct. Through the process, five key thematic areas of creative placemaking were identified: (1) Cultural well-being, (2) Income generation, (3) Sectoral inclusion, (4) Art and creative endeavours, and (5) Context-specific settings. The primary aim of this study is to address a gap in the literature on creative placemaking, particularly in specialized or themed contexts, contributing to a more profound understanding of its role on contributed dimension in regenerative strategy.
