Abstract

This study aims to understand and find out the Implementation of Character Education Values QS Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in the Digital Age. This surah is an affirmation as well as a guide for all human beings from various walks of life on the importance of ethics, manners, and character, especially in the digital era in associating in the surrounding environment, both with fellow Muslims and non-Muslims, so that a stable condition will be created between hablun minallahi and hablun minannasi. The method used is qualitative. The focus of research on class III students. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that QS Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 which are carried out properly will provide direction, teaching and control of educators so that students feel closer to God, avoid prejudice, respect and tolerance for each other so that a comfortable atmosphere grows in the environment, especially in the digital era. It can be concluded that the values of character education in QS Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in the digital era can provide guidance to students because it contains three educational values such as the value of character education respecting each other, the value of education to be kind, the value of tolerance education.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Quizizz as a learning medium to improve tajwid comprehension among Grade VII students at SMPIT Daarul Hikmah Boarding School Bontang. The research refers to a series of systematically designed learning processes utilizing interactive digital media, namely Quizizz, as a tool in tajwid instruction. Quizizz is a game-based learning platform that allows educational content to be delivered through engaging and interactive quizzes. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in the form of pre-test scores, post-test scores, and oral tajwid assessment results. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the use of Quizizz has a positive impact on students’ understanding of tajwid. Teachers utilized interactive features such as automatic scoring, leaderboards, and paper mode during apperception, practice, and evaluation activities. The learning process became more enjoyable, interactive, and competitive, encouraging students to be more active, confident, and focused. An improvement in understanding was evident from the increase in the average pre-test score of 72.21 to a post-test score of 86.16. Oral assessment results also showed that all students improved, with most falling into the “good” category and one student achieving the “very good” category. These findings indicate that Quizizz is effective as a tajwid learning medium that supports students’ comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Students with well-developed metacognition tend to excel in problem-solving. This study examines the metacognitive skills of junior high school (MTs) students in solving three-dimensional geometric problems, focusing on gender differences. The analysis involves three stages of metacognition: planning, monitoring, and evaluation. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study selected three male and three female students from 35 ninth-grade students. Data were gathered through mathematics learning outcome documents, metacognitive essay tests, and interview guidelines. The results reveal that male students face challenges across all three metacognitive stages when solving geometric problems, whereas female students encounter difficulties primarily at the evaluation stage. These findings highlight the need for targeted interventions to strengthen metacognitive skills, particularly in problem-solving contexts, while addressing gender-specific challenges.
