Abstract

Information systems in an organization have an important role in providing information to management in order to control various complex processes within an organization. The implementation of information systems in the Batik Professional Certification Institute, can help the management of Batik LSP in controlling processes in organizations, ranging from participants, assessors, Competency Test Places, to scheduling competency tests. Information systems designed to build must be through a test before use. Information system testing is carried out to determine whether or not the application is suitable for use by users. This study aims to conduct a series of tests on information systems that have been designed to build. The method used is experimental, using the AppPerfect Web Test application and the Functional Test questionnaire (Black Box Testing) instrument provided to users. The purpose of this study, to determine the extent to which these two test methods can be reliable in testing the information system of professional certification institutions that are built. Based on the analysis carried out, the AppPerfect Web Test application is in line with the results of the function test by the user. In other words, functional testing can be done by users or with the AppPerfect Web Test application, or both.

Abstract

Professional Certification Institution (LSP) as an organ or body that organizes professional trials. Implementation of web-based information systems (online) Professional certification institutions assist management in organizing data, scheduling, detecting assessors' expiration, and providing information to LSP assessors. The purpose of this study is to build an information system for Professional Certification Institutions to facilitate the Batik LSP process also helps in getting faster and more accurate data from the process. The method used in this research is research and development (research and development) with the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Dissemination. In the initial stage "Define", analysis and analysis of needs at the batik certification body. In the "Design" stage, an application design is carried out, including database design, interface, and system flow. The "Development" stage is carried out from the development application which consists of: (1) Pre-Alpha; (2) Alpha; (3) Beta; (4) Releasese Candidate; and (5) Release. Whereas the "Dissemination" is a development where the product is tested to the user to find out the usefulness in assisting the testing process in the Batik Certification Institute. From the results of the questionnaire and the blackbox test, it was found that the information system had fulfilled the requirements and was suitable for use by the blackbox users that had been done.

Abstract

The optimization of the SwapEase application needs improvement to ensure users have a satisfying experience. SwapEase supports digital clothing exchanges to reduce the impact of fast fashion. This research approach uses the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Six main dimensions are measured: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. A survey was conducted among active users, and the data were analyzed using the UEQ Data Analysis Tool version 12 to produce average scores and standard deviations for each dimension. The analysis results show that the Attractiveness dimension received an average score of 1.17, Clarity 1.05, Efficiency 1.13, Dependability 1.01, Stimulation 1.15, and Novelty 0.87. SwapEase excels in efficiency, stimulation, and novelty, with scores above the benchmark average, reflecting positive perceptions of the application’s effectiveness and innovation. However, the dimensions of attractiveness, clarity, and dependability remain below average, indicating a need for improvements in visual appeal, usability, and reliability. By enhancing these less optimal aspects, SwapEase can better meet user needs and compete more effectively in the digital application market.

Abstract

Microsoft Kaizala merupakan aplikasi berbasis online yang dapat digunakan dengan perangkat seluler dan web browser untuk berkoordinasi antara manajemer dan staf, atau antar staf dalam suatu perusahaan atau proyek. Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk dunia industri, dunia usaha dan dunia kerja (IDUKA) oleh developer-nya Microsoft Corporation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Kaizala sebagai sarana pembelajaran daring di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dari 3 Program Studi di Universitas Ivet Semarang, sejumlah 131 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang disebarkan secara daring kepada mahasiswa dengan Google Form. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk mengetahui keterterimaan penggunaan Kaizala untuk pembelajaran dan dampaknya dalam membiasakan mahasiswa menggunakan aplikasi yang dirancang untuk IDUKA. Berdasarkan analisis, didapatkan hasil bahwa 74,7 % mahasiswa menyukai aplikasi Kaizala, lebih dari 70 % menyatakan puas dengan fitur Kaizala yang dipilih Dosen sebagai sarana pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Perusahaan JavaMICEpro yang bergerak dibidang EO (Event Organizer) memerlukan sistem informasi yang berbasis website untuk mempermudah dalam pembuatan laporan laporan pada seluruh bidang yang ada pada instansi ini. Perusahaan memerlukan bantuan untuk membantu meningkatkan artikel pada website instansi JavaMICEpro, dan juga membantu peningkatan sosial media pada bidang tertentu di perusahaan ini. Metode air terjun atau yang sering disebut metode waterfall sering dijabarkan dengan nama siklus hidup klasik (classic life cycle). Disebut waterfall karena tahap demi tahap yang dilalui harus menunggu selesainya tahap sebelumnya dan berjalan berurutan. Hasil perancangan sistem informasi laporan event berbasis website ini ditunjukan untuk mempermudah karyawan maupun CEO dari instansi JavaMICEpro dalam hal menginput data yang berbentuk laporan event yang sudah dikerjakan sebelumnya. Sistem informasi ini juga di rancang menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySql serta menggunakan software khusus pemrograman yaitu Visual Studio Code yang juga banyak digunakan oleh para programmer

Abstract

The home-scale poultry farming sector in rural areas still faces challenges due to manual management that causes instability in the cage environment, waste of feed, and high poultry mortality rates. This condition hinders productivity and is contrary to the vision of the Food Independence Program which encourages village-based food sovereignty. This service activity aims to increase the efficiency and productivity of home-scale poultry farming through the implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automation system in Mlilir Village, Grobogan Regency. The participatory action research approach is applied through six stages: preparation, socialization, installation of IoT prototypes, technical training, intensive mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation during the trial period. The developed IoT system consists of temperature, humidity, and light sensors, feed and drinking water automation mechanisms, as well as a mobile interface based on ESP32 and Bardi Smart devices. The implementation has succeeded in stabilizing the cage environment, saving feed by up to 12%, reducing poultry mortality by 15%, and increasing the independence of farmers in operating technology. This activity proves that IoT-based appropriate technology can be an effective solution for the modernization of micro farms. The main contribution of the activity is the integration of digital technology with the national policy of Mandiri Pangan, as well as strengthening the digital literacy-based empowerment model at the village level. ABSTRAKSektor peternakan unggas skala rumahan di pedesaan masih menghadapi tantangan akibat pengelolaan manual yang menyebabkan ketidakstabilan lingkungan kandang, pemborosan pakan, dan tingginya angka kematian unggas. Kondisi ini menghambat produktivitas dan bertentangan dengan visi Program Mandiri Pangan yang mendorong kedaulatan pangan berbasis desa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas peternakan unggas skala rumahan melalui implementasi sistem otomasi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) di Desa Mlilir, Kabupaten Grobogan. Pendekatan participatory action research diterapkan melalui enam tahap: persiapan, sosialisasi, instalasi prototipe IoT, pelatihan teknis, pendampingan intensif, serta monitoring dan evaluasi selama periode uji coba. Sistem IoT yang dikembangkan terdiri atas sensor suhu, kelembaban, dan cahaya, mekanisme otomatisasi pakan dan air minum, serta antarmuka mobile berbasis ESP32 dan perangkat Bardi Smart. Implementasi berhasil menstabilkan lingkungan kandang, menghemat pakan hingga 12%, menurunkan angka kematian unggas sebesar 15%, dan meningkatkan kemandirian peternak dalam mengoperasikan teknologi. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa teknologi tepat guna berbasis IoT dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk modernisasi peternakan mikro. Kontribusi utama kegiatan adalah integrasi teknologi digital dengan kebijakan nasional Mandiri Pangan, sekaligus memperkuat model pemberdayaan berbasis literasi digital di tingkat desa.
