Abstract

Kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia yang kaya akan keberagaman agama memerlukan pendekatan yang bijak untuk mempromosikan harmoni dan toleransi antaragama. Majelis Taklim Intan Raudah di Kota Kulon Garut memainkan peran sentral dalam mendidik masyarakat tentang Islam dan memfasilitasi dialog antaragama. Artikel ini mengulas upaya inovatif yang telah diambil oleh Majelis Taklim ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman keberagaman dan toleransi di kalangan peserta serta dampak positifnya pada masyarakat. Pendekatan interaktif menjadi pilar utama dalam metode pembelajaran Majelis Taklim Intan Raudah. Peserta diundang untuk berdiskusi dan berbagi pandangan mereka tentang agama Islam, yang menciptakan ruang untuk pertukaran gagasan dan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang keyakinan masing-masing. Teknologi juga dimanfaatkan dengan baik melalui penggunaan perangkat lunak dan aplikasi yang memberikan akses mudah ke sumber-sumber pendidikan tentang Islam. Selain pemahaman agama, Majelis Taklim ini memberikan pelatihan tentang keberagaman dan toleransi. Peserta dilatih untuk menghormati agama dan keyakinan orang lain, serta memahami pentingnya keragaman dalam masyarakat. Pendekatan ini telah menciptakan dampak positif seperti peningkatan pemahaman antaragama, peningkatan hubungan sosial, dan penurunan konflik berbasis agama. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat Majelis Taklim Intan Raudah memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam membangun masyarakat yang lebih harmonis dan inklusif. Dengan inovasi metode pembelajaran agama Islam yang mereka terapkan, mereka telah membuka jalan untuk dialog antaragama yang lebih mendalam dan saling pengertian yang lebih besar. Semoga upaya seperti ini dapat menjadi inspirasi bagi organisasi serupa di seluruh negeri untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih toleran dan beragam.

Abstract

The Bena Reservoir was designed as a water supply solution in Bena Village, South Central Timor District, which has semi-arid climatic conditions. The success of embankment construction is not only determined by the storage capacity, but also the slope stability of the embankment body which affects the safety and successful functioning of the embankment. This research focuses on analyzing slope stability using GeoStudio 2012 software and the Modified Morgenstern method. The analysis was conducted under four operating conditions: empty, normal water level, flood water level, and rapid drawdown. Geotechnical parameters such as cohesion, inner shear angle, and soil permeability were included in the simulation. Results showed that the Safety Factor (SF) values under all conditions were well above the minimum required (SF > 1.2 - 1.5), with the highest value being 43.525 and the lowest being 10.122. This finding confirms that the embankment slopes are in a very stable condition. Therefore, The Bena Reservoir technically meets the slope safety criteria and is ready to support safe and sustainable water management

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of frequency adjustment using a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) on the performance of a three-phase AC synchronous motor under both no-load and load conditions. Energy inefficiency in industrial systems often results from mismatches between motor speed and load demands. The motor was tested at frequencies ranging from 20 Hz to 50 Hz to evaluate changes in speed, input power, torque, and efficiency. Unlike previous studies that focused solely on motor speed, this research provides a more comprehensive performance analysis. The results show that increasing frequency leads to higher motor speed and power consumption, but a decrease in torque. Under no-load conditions, speed increased from 607 RPM at 20 Hz to 1506 RPM at 50 Hz, while torque dropped from 1.57 Nm to 0.63 Nm. Under load, speed increased from 88 RPM to 683 RPM, and torque declined from 10.9 Nm to 1.39 Nm. Although motor efficiency decreases at higher frequencies due to increased magnetizing current caused by the constant V/f ratio, it must be emphasized that VSDs can significantly enhance energy efficiency by allowing the motor to operate at an optimal speed according to the load, instead of continuously running at full speed. Therefore, dynamic frequency control based on load variation is essential to optimize motor performance. VSDs thus play a vital role in intelligent control strategies aimed at improving energy efficiency in industrial applications.
