Abstract

The pesantren-based university has regulations aimed not only at enhancing the academic aspects but also at improving the religiosity of its students. However, some regulations make pesantren students feel burdened, which eventually leads to temperamental characteristics that hinder the students' development of their religiosity. This creates a dilemma where the pesantren's main goal is to strengthen the religiosity of its students. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of temperamental characteristics on the level of religiosity among pesantren students. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational design. Data collection was carried out using random sampling by distributing questionnaires to undergraduate students at Darussalam Gontor University, with a total of 100 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results of the study show that temperamental characteristics have only a 6% influence on religiosity, while 94% of religiosity is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. This proves that temperamental characteristics do not significantly affect the level of religiosity among pesantren students.

Abstract

This research seeks to explore the phenomenological experiences of Islamic boarding school students when they become peer counselors. On the one hand, he carries out professional peer counseling, but on the other hand, he also experiences a crisis or exploration as a stage of his psychological development. This research will answer how he manages psychological turmoil as a person and peer counselor. Researchers use qualitative phenomenological research which makes it possible to explore in depth the phenomenon, the subject's experience of himself, his interactions with other people, and the subject's experience of other people's experiences. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis went through five stages, including; 1) Manage and prepare data; 2) Read all the data; 3) Coding; 4) Grouping/Creating themes; and 5) Conclusion and Discussion. The findings in this research are grouped into two themes as follows; 1) Problems experienced by peer counselors; and 2) Self Help method carried out by peer counselors. Self-help methods carried out by peer counselors are meditation, crying therapy, and journalizing/narrative therapies. Each self-help method also produces information about the reasons for choosing the method, how to do the self-help, time and place, and the effects caused after doing the self-help.

Abstract

Gangguan kecemasan yang terjadi belakangan ini semakin meningkat dengan drastis. Menurut data yang ada, bahwa sangat banyak para remaja yang mengalami gangguan kecemasan. gangguan kecemasan adalah gangguan berupa rasa khawatir, gampang lelah, dan rasa takut yang berkepanjangan. Kecemasan yang berlebihan yang dialami para narasumber merupakan manifestasi dari linkungan yang buruk dimana seseorang merasa terisolasi baik dari segi kognitif dan afektifnya sehingga tidak ada reaksi psikomotorik yang dilakukan. Salah satu sebabnya adalah penggunaan media sosial yang berlebihan, penekanan dan tuntutan dari berbagai hal yang mempengaruhi, bahkan masalah percintaan pun bisa mempengaruhi.  hal yang menyebabkan gejala ini terjadi adalah banyak memikirkan suatu hal yang kompleks dan mencampurnya dengan masalah pribadi, dan gangguan itu berlangsung semakin intens dan sangat terasa, bisa dibilang gangguan ini terjadi berulang kali dalam sehari dan bisa disebabkan atau dibangkitkan dengan berbagai hal kecil yang seharusnya tidak usah dipikirkan. Berkaitan dengan itu, bahwa yang paling banyak mengalaminya adalah generasi Z dengan studi kasus di  Unida Gontor prodi PAI yang sekarang sedang dalam gempuran teknologi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam rangka mencari tahu apa yang sedang terjadi kepada para remaja saat ini, alasan gangguan kecemasan ini dialami oleh kebanyakan generasi Z, gejala apa saja yang menyebabkannya, akibat apa yang ditimbulkan dari gangguan ini, serta bagaiamana solusi dan cara menanggulangi yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomonologi dengan metode wawancara. Dari penelitian ini, didapatkan bahwa kebanyakan mahasiswa PAI mengalami gangguan dan gejala  yang sama dimana para mahasiswa merasa takut melakukan sesuatu sampai stress sehingga berpengaruh ke kesehatan mental dan fisik yang bisa rusak secara signifikan. akan tetapi gangguan ini terjadi dengan sebab,  dan akibat yang berbeda setiap individu.
