Abstract

As an implementer of educational supervision, a supervisor must be truly mature in terms of knowledge, information, and methods. Equally important is how a supervisor delivers or provides greetings and even criticism to teachers. Efforts must be made to ensure that the supervised teachers do not feel offended by the supervisor's words. If a supervisor is arrogant in guiding and mentoring teachers, it is certain that they will distance themselves and disregard all directions and guidance provided by the supervisor. As a result, the supervisory functions within the institution will not be achieved. The presence of management in an organization is to carry out activities so that a goal can be achieved effectively and efficiently. Strictly speaking, there is no single, universally applicable formula for management functions, especially in the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Tanjungbalai City. Planning in management functions is very important. A successful activity is usually an indication of careful planning. In fact, for certain activities, we need to prepare several layers of planning so that the activity can achieve maximum success.ABSTRAKSupervisor sebagai pelaksana pengawasan bidang pendidikan harus benar-benar matang, baik dari segi keilmuan, informasi, metode dan tidak kalah penting adalah cara seorang supervisor dalam penyampaian atau berupa sapaan bahkan kritik kepada para guru dengan baik diusahakan agar guru yang dibina tersebut tidak tersinggung dengan perkataan seorang supervisor. Seandainya seorang supervisor arogan dalam membimbing dan membina guru, sudah tentu mereka menjauh dan tidak mengabaikan seluruh arahan dan bimbingan yang disampaikan seorang supervisor tersebut dan tidak tercapailah fungsi-fungsi supervisi dalam lembaga tersebut. Kehadiran manajemen dalam organisasi adalah untuk melaksanakan kegiatan agar suatu tujuan dapat tercapai secara efektif dan efisien. Secara tegas, tidak ada rumusan yang sama dan berlaku umum untuk fungsi manajemen khususnya di kementerian agama kota Tanjungbalai. Perencanaan dalam fungsi manajemen amatlah penting. Suatu kegiatan yang sukses biasanya merupakan indikasi dari perencanaan yang matang. Bahkan dalam kegiatan-kegiatan tertentu kita perlu menyiapkan beberapa lapis perencanaan agar kegiatan tersebut dapat mencapai sukses maksimal.

Abstract

This study examines the principal’s methods in improving the performance of teachers and educational staff at MAN 1 Tanjungbalai. The principal implements effective communication approaches, discipline reinforcement, and motivation to enhance collective responsibility for education. Through a familial approach and open discussions, the principal establishes harmonious relationships with teachers and educational staff while encouraging learning innovations by providing guidance, direction, and opportunities for competency development through training, Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP), workshops, and seminars. To improve the performance of educational staff, the principal applies a two-way communication pattern based on openness and transparency. Information dissemination is carried out through various media, such as staff meetings, circular letters, data boards, oral announcements, and informal communication based on a familial approach. The principal also provides space for educational staff to give feedback and criticism to enhance administrative efficiency and educational services. Through these methods, the principal acts as a facilitator and motivator in creating a conducive work environment, leading to improved teacher and staff performance, ultimately contributing to better education quality at MAN 1 Tanjungbalai.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas manajemen kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dan tenaga kependidikan di MAN 1 Tanjungbalai. Kepala sekolah menerapkan pendekatan komunikasi yang efektif, pembinaan kedisiplinan, serta pemberian motivasi untuk meningkatkan tanggung jawab kolektif terhadap pendidikan. Melalui pendekatan kekeluargaan dan diskusi terbuka, kepala sekolah membangun hubungan harmonis dengan guru dan tenaga kependidikan, serta mendorong inovasi pembelajaran dengan memberikan arahan, bimbingan, serta peluang peningkatan kompetensi melalui pelatihan, Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP), workshop, dan seminar. Dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan, kepala sekolah menerapkan manajemen komunikasi dua arah yang berbasis keterbukaan dan transparansi. Penyampaian informasi dilakukan melalui berbagai media, seperti rapat dinas, serta komunikasi informal berbasis kekeluargaan. Kepala sekolah juga memberikan ruang bagi tenaga kependidikan untuk menyampaikan masukan dan kritik guna meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan pelayanan pendidikan. Dengan metode ini, kepala sekolah berperan sebagai fasilitator dan motivator dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, sehingga kinerja guru dan tenaga kependidikan meningkat, berkontribusi pada mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik di MAN 1 Tanjungbalai.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the marketing strategies used to accept new students at SMPN 8 Tanjungbalai. The researcher used qualitative research. The data sources in this study consist of two categories: primary and secondary. The results showed that PPDB activities at SMPN 8 Tanjungbalai are strongly influenced by marketing strategy planning. The principal and the school marketing team are all involved in planning. In PPDB at SMPN 8 Tanjungbalai, the planning of marketing activities includes creating a committee structure, determining work programs, implementation, and evaluation. Second, in the marketing strategy planning process, SMPN 8 applies five marketing elements to promote the school. Third, the evaluation of marketing strategies at SMPN 8 Tanjungbalai is carried out at the end of the PPBD implementation period and documented in the form of an accountability report. Fourth, there are some problems with the marketing strategy at SMPN 8 Tanjungbalai in the 2022-2023 academic year. This is due to the lack of work motivation and teamwork of the organizing committee for new student admission activities.

Abstract

Multicultural-based Islamic education management is a strategic approach aimed at promoting understanding, acceptance, and appreciation of diversity in educational settings. This concept is not only relevant to national life but also crucial for schools, particularly in shaping students' character to be tolerant and have a broad perspective. The purpose of this study is to describe how multicultural-based Islamic education management is implemented at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tanjungbalai. The research method used is qualitative, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of multicultural-based Islamic education in this school is carried out through three main aspects: first, the integration of multicultural values into teaching materials and the curriculum; second, the implementation of school activities that encourage intercultural interaction, such as interfaith dialogue, religious events involving students from various backgrounds, and tolerance-based competitions; third, the use of participatory teaching methods that encourage open discussion about diversity. This adaptive management of Islamic education, which responds to social realities, further strengthens Islamic values such as tolerance, justice, and compassion in educational practice. In conclusion, multicultural-based Islamic education at SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tanjungbalai has been implemented systematically and has made a positive contribution to creating an inclusive and harmonious learning environment.ABSTRAKManajemen pendidikan Islam berbasis multikultural merupakan pendekatan strategis yang bertujuan untuk mempromosikan pemahaman, penerimaan, dan penghargaan terhadap keragaman dalam lingkungan pendidikan. Konsep ini tidak hanya relevan bagi kehidupan nasional tetapi juga krusial bagi sekolah, terutama dalam membentuk karakter siswa agar toleran dan memiliki perspektif yang luas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana manajemen pendidikan Islam berbasis multikultural diterapkan di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tanjungbalai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan Islam berbasis multikultural di sekolah ini dilakukan melalui tiga aspek utama: pertama, integrasi nilai-nilai multikultural ke dalam bahan ajar dan kurikulum; kedua, pelaksanaan kegiatan sekolah yang mendorong interaksi antarbudaya, seperti dialog antaragama, acara keagamaan yang melibatkan siswa dari berbagai latar belakang, dan kompetisi berbasis toleransi; ketiga, penggunaan metode pengajaran partisipatif yang mendorong diskusi terbuka tentang keragaman. Pengelolaan pendidikan Islam yang adaptif ini, yang merespons realitas sosial, semakin memperkuat nilai-nilai Islam seperti toleransi, keadilan, dan kasih sayang dalam praktik pendidikan. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan Islam berbasis multikultural di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Tanjungbalai telah diterapkan secara sistematis dan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif dan harmonis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik tujuan anggaran dan penerapan sistem informasi akuntansi terhadap kinerja aparat pemerintah daerah serta tingkat desentralisasi sebagai pemoderasi. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Kradenan dan Gabus, Kabupaten Grobogan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS) sebagai alat uji. Responden penelitian adalah aparat pemerintah di kecamatan dan kelurahan, dengan sampel sebanyak 60 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel karakteristik tujuan anggaran dan desentralisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja aparat pemda. Sedangkan variabel sistem informasi akuntansi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja aparat pemda, dan desentralisasi tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh karakteristik tujuan anggaran dan sistem informasi akuntansi terhadap kinerja aparat pemerintah daerah.
